i loooooved the boss changes. feels really fresh. my time was relatively bug free, think there was 1 quest i couldnt complete. And once my hotbar wouldnt activate till i relogged. other than that i had fun.
Hey there cool video, about the xp being halves its actually normal it has always been like this on the old versions of wow, they might have changed this in cata or mop or some later expansion but I agree it would be cool to have normal xp to entice us to play with friends or new people we meet along the way. They probably forgot to put the elite tag on the water elemental you attacked and I believe he is a 10 mans mini boss maybe a 5 man with all 60s and some gear, probably a big elite quest with a nice reward. Apart from that the loots issues seems to be easy things to fix and I dont think that they were focused on that, I believe they have been a lot more focused into making mobs and bosses mechanics in and out of dungeons / raids work properly which is more demanding to do. Most of the minor bugs will probably be fixed by the time the server launches. Well I hope so ;)
The halved experience when in group with 1 person is the same as vanilla. I don't think they have added this. The XP is divided by the amount of people in the group.
Yes but it was felt way more here. I think the reasoning is because there was bonus EXP for the beta, so gaining alot more than normal vanilla rates solo, vs the halfed or less rates for multiple people, it felt off. in normal vanilla i never really felt it. unless i was in a group with a higher leveled player.
There's some jank in the game mechanics but overall is still a better option that Turtle for people that start now on vanilla plus private servers but release timing can be a problem,the more they delay the more people can start to play on other servers.
I hope the Devs create incentives for people to play tanks and healers, I barely play turtle wow anymore because I can't get anything done, wait so long for tanks.
I doubt this will happen, it is up to the players who are willing to take that role,I am playing tank for my group if needed,the problem is that not many can take that responsibility even if they're class can do it.
@@Elemental227 that's true but is gonna cost a lot of gold,but from what I've seen in the beta the early to mid game is not too crazy and if I go arms war I'm confident I can tank early dungeons with ease.

The reduced experience from groups needs to be adjusted. Anything that reduces my experience rate on private server kills my interest in playing. They are directly competing with Season of Discovery that has increased global exp.

it's actually vanilla, group xp always worked like that, malonze lacks information. Group bonus xp only kicks in at 3+ party members, 2 members was always halved.

If money was not an issue, and i could make a private server myself…then I would start it out using Turtle WoW as a base and then I would… 1. Have there b 4 factions instead of 2. Horde-Orcs, Trolls, and Tauren(Druids available) Alliance-Human, Dwarf(Dwarf Druids) and Gnome Forsaken- Undead, Blood elves, and Worgen (Druid possible). Elven- Dark elf(Druid possible), High elf, and Draenei. 2. Incorporate the entire trial system from Ascension WoW. 3. Improve the rewards for achieving immortal or infernal status by introducing a prestige system. 4. Build PFui, voice over, and other common addons into the game, make a game launcher similar to Ascension, and integrate HD turtle WoW mods (but make them able to be disabled or enabled in the games options). 5. Bring Flying to Azeroth. 6. Just like turtle, no outlands, no northrend, lvl 60 cap, no level scaling, but I would have world events and other mechanics more like Ascension. 7. I would eliminate every raid instance. Raids would not exist. 8. More dungeons, and more content added to existing dungeons. Turtle WoW's next update looks like it will do a lot of this. 9. Give professions a MASSIVE buff, its a massive time sink and a lot of effort so the reward should better. Turtle had the right idea, it buffed professions, but not enough imo. That’s the gist of it anyway…
Considering that is how I've been playing the game since 2005, I am quite skilled with the method. Have you ever played WoW with a controller? It much different then hitting every key of your keyboard for abilities. I bet you would suck at it cause you are not used to it. But after some time and practice you would be fine. You play the way you are used to playing for however long you have been playing. and I'll play the way I have been playing for 19 years. Just because a few streamers told you to not play a certain way doesn't mean you have to listen to them.

EXP being lowered in a group was a thing all the way back in OG vanilla.

At least there is dual spec, so more players can fill these roles without having to commit as much
