A tiny pandora's box ... filled with a world of knowledge. We're supposed to live for 120 years, and live well. I love & wholeheartedly appreciate this human (and all the other humans championing equal mindset) for the words shared.
How can someone hold so much information and knowledge on obesity and diseases... And have so much passion towards the subject... And have a gut like that?. Not hating, just really wodering
It’s possible he was once in great shape, but suffered a devastating and permanent injury making it very difficult to be as mobile as once before. Combine that with metabolism getting slower as one ages, it can easily happen. I had to take personal fitness phys Ed and nutrition classes in college, so I have the knowledge and used to be able to spend 3 hours at the gym after classes. Then I got into a really bad multiple vehicle accident, which was started when I got hit by a gravel truck. I suffered multiple concussions, multiple directional whiplash, my shoulder is buggered up and I live with constant back pain. I couldn’t go the the gym for three hours a day anymore and lost all the progress I made. Then I developed a severed case of hyperthyroidism, which initially caused a lot of rapid weight loss because my body was eating itself trying to stay alive, but then I had to do radioactive iodine therapy to kill my thyroid. The thyroid is what regulates everything in your body, particularly metabolism. I still have all the knowledge, but people look at me, not knowing what I went through, and discredit it because they just see an overweight woman.
Even though he got good understanding of the field, I disagree with him specially at the end, and not because he isn´t right, the thing is that he is been ambiguous with the thing of the food labeled isn´t food. Many people really care and understand what are they eating, but i guess there´s a bunch more people that tends to follow fashion. So u can make that kind of statement even in youtube. I know this isn´t a profesional journal of nutrition, and with a greater emphasis, you can´t make that kind of statement to general public.
Why you put this video on? It's from 2007 and still not right. Please read more paper and make a new video, because his one is just false. I like crossfit, but please take it down. :)
They just give old research information which are not right... So if they want avoid diseases they should take it down. They can go back and do their research. I don't care if they take it down or not. :)

+Achristic Yeah. That and a "lecture" with f-bombs and more. I like he uses one bit of research and then feeds crap the rest of the session
+Achristic That was my first thought also. Its only natural.
Achristic He might be knowledgeable, but he probably lacks discipline.
Every human has their flaws and crutches. Hey may lack discipline who knows.

Great Video ! Thanks
So is Glassman Paleo?
Love the information. I don't like him linking bananas (a natural food in itself) to the added sugar topic though.
IIFYM
This guy needs to take his own advice
Thanks

He’s forget the fact that animal saturated fat is considered the cause of diabetes 2

:) I like what he said about the labels. If has a label its not food! :)
Karsten Berning You think they are gonna take it down just because you think they should read more papers? lol
