I'm not a Tracer player but I've coached metal and below and this Tracer reminds me of a lot of the others I've VR'd/coached. They have decent mechanics and gamesense but as far as the hero goes there's never really a plan like you said, it's almost always frontlining or being too involved with the team than a tracer needs to be and then occasionally going into the backline but not being able to fully capitalize on the flank or create a presence in the backline when it needs to be there. There are a lot of moments when I see they're on the right track or getting the idea though but not doing it consistently enough which the video should be eye opening and helpful to them changing that...I may be wrong but I often tell people the major difference between plat and diamond is consistency. Not trying to be a jerk to the player, because it takes courage to put your gameplay out there for all to see/judge and seeking improvement should be encouraged, I just find it interesting that the habits I saw 4-5 years ago continue to be a common thing across many different players.
5:28 this. timing your engagements and pressuring their supports from off angles gives your team such an advantage. i’m not even that skilled mechanically but i’ve been winning more than half of my games by just being more patient and sneaky.
@@incantate5990 linear is very good for heroes that generally have a wide spread and require a good degree of tracking. Tracer, Sombra, Reaper, Dva, Mauga, and arguably Widow are very good with linear ramp. while it is useable on other characters, generally dual zone will be better for thr rest of the roster.
0:1:36 You ignored the fact he gave position on a flank immediately for like what 5 damage? 02:10 You completely ignored the fact he wasted pulse bomb on a pretty much a cleanup after winning the fight I'm not gonna complete this video.
On 1:36 he literally didn't ignore it. And Pulse isn't even a real ult, which is why good Tracer mains don't care about it. It's always the hardstuck Plats that think they know better istg

Such a good informative video. I climbed to gold on tracer after watching
It's hard to recall in time on console. You use the same finger to shoot, so you have to actively stop shooting then recall.
I play on PS5 and have her recall bound to L2 and her ult bound to R1, that way I never have to take my fingers off any trigger
@@amaziiin Cool. I only had her ult on L2, so I could still aim while using it. But that seems much better.
Why are you using the same finger to recall and shoot? I use my index for abilities and middle finger to shoot.
I play claw and I always forget people have struggles like this.
Wym? Shoot is on r2 and recall is on r1 or l1
I imagine him as ‘Rick’ and that makes me smile
Im curious what tracers console settings are. His aim looks pretty good at times
Definitely high/max sens + linear ramp. Can't say much else

i lowkey do want you to talk about every little thing for 3 hours
Where’s the play Tracer at?
Watching console plat is soo weird, its like a mix of silver positioning and game sense with masters level aim with the aim assist.
*burp*

oh no you're not gonna finish watching my video? I'm truly devastated
