I just got yelled at for playing ana and my tank kept on getting booted on the second bridge in Rialto attack. And I was getting told no healing. Like there is nothing that can be done. Or the bastion setting up behind me in an obvious spot
I wonder if it’s easier or harder to perform expert fade jumps on keyboard vs controller but the struggle is real for me to reach certain high ground areas.
I'm on controller and have jump bound to right-stick which definitely helps, but using a scroll wheel on mouse is practically the only way to get the super-super jump (please correct me if I'm wrong, I want the tech)

Your movement is amazing, and the angles you take for your orbs is something im going to be studying. And so are the highground fades/fades to healthpacks! The way you move around a map and bait support or dps out of position to go after u and then using cover and orbs to ensure max survivability to duel them (or escape if needed) is also something im looking to master as well! Been having trouble with runasapi, so gonna be rewatching to study how u move on that map. Watching u on it made a lightbulb go off in my head, like that map suddenly made so much more sense. Anyways i know ppl say moira is easy, and yeah maybe her drain aiming is, but i think ppl dont quite get that there are skills to master with her too. It just looks different from a lot of other characters in the game cause of her kit. And i find theres a big difference when u start with moira and where u can get to (like u) with her as u master those skills. I agree with ur use of moira tbh-and watching u move the cart the way u do along with ur team and how its prioritized (the strategy put into ur play)... very satisfying. Yeah. Also love the timing of heal orbs to create pockets/the most value out of them. And again the angles!!! Sooooooo going back to note exactly where some of them were placed (like the one that bounced thru the choke beautifully, that was lovely) And then you have the fake fades added to this? Yeah, i love this video. Very educational for moira mains, and you have a lovely attitude and mindset. A great watch! Ty so much, have a good day!
people don't understand how important it is to distract and stall behind enemy lines. it's always a matter of numbers...more dps or more healing is the only thing that matters to them.
I really like the way you move with Moira. Very nice movement. I noticed that you sometimes fade IN, and then you don't have your escape ability available (and you die), like in 15.16 where Ana really saved your ass. :D I also love that you use walls to send your orbs. Good job!
At 15:16 we are capping the point. If I get a kill, they spawn far from the objective. If I get killed, I spawn close to it. It's one of the best times to go all in for a kill because it's low risk to reward when it comes to the macro game. There's basically nothing to lose if I die, but something to gain if I get a kill. I'll be back on the cary before any team fight, but if I kill them they will have to let us push a little more.
Its an effect thats part of the skin hes using called the Ancient Caller, aka the mythic skin for Moira! it also has cool effects for the heal, fade, ult, and voicelines. Can be bought with mythic shards purchased w real money or from the battlepass tiers
What makes you use your Coalescence right as you get it? I have heard of it said as a easy team fight winner but I'm not sure. What would you say are some good things to think about if you commit to using it?
Every second you hold it, you are losing value every time you heal or damage someone, because you are not gaining any ultimate charge. Your healing becomes less valuable because all it does is heal, and doesn't heal + get ult charge. So you do not want to hold it for too long. Secondly, Coal is a long ultimate. You can use the start of coal for one thing and the end for a different thing. I will often use coal for self-healing to get me out of a sticky situation where I have no cooldowns or I need more self-healing than a heal orb and right clicks will provide, and then once I've healed up, I may get aggressive with it or focus healing my team. I will use the first couple of seconds of coal for movement speed sometimes. To get a longer fade jump. To save a player I couldn't heal. To push an enemy at range out of their nice position into something more difficult for them to play. Honestly, it's quite a flexible ult, and you can usually find something to use it for even if you haven't really got a plan for it at the moment you use it. I wouldn't hold onto it for long though.
can you make parkours? i would love to try out your techniques on different maps and see if it's as simple as you make it look :) (it most definitely will not be)

I had the exact same question, I thought it was like some kind of secret tech I didn't know about. I guess it's just making the enemy thaik you are retreating but just fading behind them?
I think that staying left clicked on someone heals them faster than spraying, waiting 3 sec and spraying them again. You lose more resources but you heal them faster, sometimes it will save them. I use the spray technique when im low on resources or when my mate isnt hurt ( i spray them preventively all the time, so that he has a heal effect when he eventuay takes dmg)
Dude moira literally cant outheal anything or provide an immort so dealing dmg instead of trying to outheal something he cant is the only thing he can do. The whole point of the character now is to either run full rush with lucio or pair with another main healer and take an angle.
@@iceperson_owMoira Main here, He shouldve been heal orbing and spraying that winston, wouldve kept Winston alive while the team dwindled Rein shield thus winning the Tank battle since Winston would then be able to jump in and bubble while rein is running and swinging like a chicken without a head.

I did this kind of stuff to a monkey back at the start of OW 2 and 1v1 him for 2 1/2 mins while the rest of my team ran rough shot over his lol I may have to pick moira back up soon lol
He uses all the tricks in the books to make him fade further. First : use fade + jump to make a high fade ( useful to get high round) or fade + jump after fade to go further after the fade. You keep the speed for the jump and go further Second: if you coal ( ult) you get a movement speed increase so fading while coaled with get you further. Third: you can use the map (cars, walls) to do fade jumps and get verticality. Reach high grounds etc.. But you have got to practice the fade. You can do it in practice range or in special arcade modes
You do as much healing as is required to win. Any more is inefficient. Your job as support is not to just heal and keep players alive, that is only part of your role. Your primary objective is to help your team win. Healing is part of that, but not all of it. To limit yourself to just that aspect will HUGELY restrict the amount of value you are able to achieve. This mentality is one of the BIGGEST reasons why players stay in the lower ranks. Support is more than just healing health. Sometimes it's better to let a teammate die than to stall their death for a few seconds. Sometimes you're a better choice to be alive than another one of your teammates. You need to think smarter.
It's funny, I haven't watched the video, but I've been doing fake fades for years. Just a little something I came up with. No one expects you to be in the exact same spot after the fade. Gets them every time.
Fades are good. Map knowledge and positioning is mostly good for dps Moria. Dps is decently good but over done in a lot of situations. Healing needs work.
Fades were cool, too bad playing as half-tracer in the enemy backline while ur other healer struggling to heal all critical guys... also dont you just need to just tap the heal (to save ammo) to get the hot effect on people rather than hold it or did they change that?

You can apply the HoT and it lasts for 3 seconds, but I like to apply it more frequently than that so that it's 3 seconds from when I stop applying it. Playing in higher ranks with a support with no utility requires creativity, otherwise you're just going to put out similar numbers while not having utility. In lower ranks sure, just sit behind your tank and heal. It will be enough.

Drifting back and forth between your team and doing healing orbs mostly and knowing when to go aggressive makes the best moiras. You played decent though!
To put out high damage numbers, you have to either sacrifice healing or be incredibly active. Her sacrifice for the aim is also her range limit. People forget that on a map like Junkertown, Ana is able to snipe both healing and damage from the other side of the map, while Moira has to be up close and personal with anyone she needs to attack. There are downsides... low damage output, low range, high accuracy, and sacrifices.

It’s possible but imo controller can be very difficult especially ones that involve quick camera movement

easier on mnk, but the refresh rate on a pc would make both input styles easy as long as ur comfy w them

When the enemy is certain you faded in one direction, but you did something totally unexpected, usually _not_ retreating

Moira's heal spray is an HOT that lasts around 3 secs, it's useless to spam the spray on ppl that already have the HOT on them.

@@pepsipwns666 Hitting spray heals 70 HP/s. HoT heals for 17 HP/s. Huge difference.
Just go practice range and use it on the bots. You will see the difference. You can barely keep the training bots alive with the HoT only.
