Both hats are adorable. I like the crochet one best.
The crochet one would be so sweet on a little girl. A little dress with the texture and bobbles only on the hem would compliment a matching set.

Shannon, you NEVER fail to surprise us. Those hats are both adorable, but I agree - the crocheted version is prettier if you hold them together, but when you put the knitted one on, it had it's own flair. Have an awesome weekend and holiday. ❤ ❤
I agree, I thought the knit was adorable, and it is, but when I held it up against the crochet there is no question, it’s cuter. I’m sure I’ll find a home for both of them.

Vacation has started out great. I’m a bit tired because like a child I stayed up past my bedtime playing with my yarn 🥰. It’s the little things in life that make us happy.

You seemed to really enjoy the strawberry stitches more than most of the others. I do love the texture of the crochet. You basically showed how boring knit can be compared to crochet. 😢
That’s funny, knit isn’t boring, I didn’t add any fancy stitches to the k it hat. I think a comparison would be a plain single crochet hat with the bobbles wouldn’t be as cute as this texture one. A lace knit hat with the bobbles would be cuter then the plain one.
The stitch is great for either version and can be added to elevate any project. I like the stitch as an accent versus the solid cloth with all bobbles.
@@anotheryarn doing a hat on a knitting machine is the same thing as what you did only you added the strawberries which elevated it but the rest of it didn't have anything on it maybe an embellishment of some sort on the rest of it would tie it together to make it look fancier?
