- Lace cable, brioche sweater spoke to me. This pattern once I first saw it just had to be purchased. I needed to read what the designer did like a good book, cover to cover.

This is such an unusual stitch pattern I had to get it to see how they did it.
You are so talented. Thanks for the inspiration, I was just about to start a sweater with a Berrocco modern cotton and I added in a Berrocco Dulce in a similar color after seeing this.
That sounds lovely. This whole project is out of my norm. The color, yarn choice, speed of purchase and cast on.

In the white, it looks like it has been knitted with porcelain clouds, if that makes any sense. Lol. The definition of porcelain, the floofiness of clouds.
I can see why it gives the impression of being one of those AI generated images.

I’m just gobsmacked that I purchased the pattern and the same day, according to my bank statement, went and got the yarn. I love yarn don’t get me wrong. This whole sequence and speed is uncharacteristic of me.

It’s like a Rorschach ink blotch, you see what you see 🥰. All the intricate details and movement of the stitches got me. The test swatch was easy enough too.

Very pretty colors. I have some of that fuzzy type yarn that gets held together for a throw. I'm nervous about how it cakes up. I'm afraid it will turn into a mess. Did you cake that up? How did it go?
Truthfully I thought the same thing. It was really easy to cake up, no snags, yarn didn’t need to be pulled apart at all. I e had more problems with “regular” yarn. That completely shocked me. It really is working up nicely

I got the shirt a couple years ago at Nordstrom Rack in the clearance section. (Always shop the sale racks even in a discount store)
