Satin steel case, blue bezel, blue dial; this is a monster. Few watches appeal to me like the 5015 Fifty Fathoms, and in BLUE with the high-polish finish swapped for brushed grain... watch out, AP! This is a dream watch from my perspective. Best, Tim

WatchBox Reviews also surprised you like it tim to wear it's quite large for your wrist and I know from previous reviews you said the 42mm sky dweller felt too big for you.

I have loved this version ever since it came out. I wished they would make a GMT variant. I’d get it with the bracelet but who knows, I kind of like that strap as well.. I will doubtlessly own this one soon!
Beautiful piece, lugs could curve a little more to hug the wrist just like a longines conquest, an Oris Aquis and a seiko monster does for example. At this price point, a titanium bracelet option would be nice too. Otherwise a fine watch no doubt
A fine watch - but why did they have to chisel in their branding in the case in such a crude manner? The watch itself is easily loud enough on its own merit.
A customer recommended to Jehan-Jacques Blancpain that he should sign his watches like a painter signs his paintings because he considered it a work of art. In the past a lot of Blancpain watches had this "signature" nowadays only the classic FF.
Went to try its black 5015 sister on 3 weeks ago. Breathtaking timepiece for Saturday or Sunday wear, but they made one mistake: the large brand engraving on the side. Imagine an elegant, dark green Bentley that would have a loud, big brand on the side. Not very classy. But other than that, it is superb.
Personally I think that any product that has the name or logo of the manufacturer displayed in a really obvious way just looks cheap and tacky to me. The only situation where the name of the business / maker should be prominently displayed is if you happen to be a sponsored sports person, and you are paid for the advertising! On personal clothing or products the makers mark / name should be discrete.

hmmmmm 1315 uses a silicon hairspring though, why they still use a solid back case?

The blancpain engraving reminds me of the cheap Montblanc models engraved with meisterstruck. It’s not classy nor necessary.
blacpain is like the saab of the watch world. Every car guy appreciates the saab but nobody wanted to put the money in and buy it.
