    I wonder if these kids know how truly special it is to be a part of this. Not only for the talent level of that high school program relative to the rest of the world but the fact that they will look back at this video in 20 years and wish they were standing right there to do it all over again.

      #fakenews You must be referring to the one kid that moved here recently to the hundreds of kids we train from scratch. Thanks for dismissing all of our efforts over the past 14 years...

    a show concept the performers can grasp on to, make it their own, and have a blast making perfect?! That's just genius! You can tell the kids had fun performing the heck out of this show from top to bottom. Smart choice in concept, song choice, and development. I was totally expecting excerpts from the Planets to be interwoven into the show but just the opposite! Diggin it!
    Great Job Chino Hills! Great maturity in players/performers across the board!

    Those are my brothers and sisters and best friends right there! I'm so proud of them to be able to get 2nd place and they worked hard and persevered to reach their goals! They did amazing, sadly the run at finals was a lot better than this run, so it's unfortunate that we don't get to watch finals. I've been with them through almost every rehearsal and competition this season, and I'm so proud to call them my family! I can't wait to be drumming with them soon and go through what life has in store for us💙

      hii im a highschool student in a band, and my coach has assigned me to do a report specifically on this performace. i wonder if we could get in touch so i could gain some more information on this, like the theme, or anything thatll help me do the report? id be so grateful if you'd be able to help me but its fine if you dont want to too, no pressure!

    this show got all the white knights feminists and SJWs fuming lmao chill y'all.
    haha i would go so far as to say that the show is parodying gender stereotypes, not reinforcing them. i personally thought that this production was both fun and cute, not to mention extremely well executed.

      I think the show is fun and cute and was very well executed. As a feminist I don't dislike this show at all but I would have liked it so much better if in the end they were like "fuck gender stereotypes be who you are" than just "Boys and girls are different and here's a straight couple."

    • @ecksluss

      +Nick Dobbins just curious, because they look like mini snare drums, why don't they just add them to the snare line? I've never seen a "Flub" Solo, and I don't believe that they have a distinct/noticeable sound.

    • @joshdeland3664
      @joshdeland3664 7 років тому

      Tierre Waters
      They're mostly beginner players and will be moved up to snare or tenors in a later year. It's to prepare them for the harder and more involved positions in the battery

      neat! so they put a tag on the show that explains away all the terrible stereotypes they promoted in the previous 98% of the show.
