    Thanks for this complete video. Just to mention I upgraded my Asus X1504ZA with Intel Core i5-1235U processor with a total of 40 GB DDR4-3200 RAM (8 GB Soldered + 32 GB in Slot). Memory (RAM) speed should be contingent on the processor; mine runs at 3200 MHz.

    I'm wondering if you can fit a 2.5" SSD in the free space on the bottom left side (with or without some kind of connection adapter.)

    • @SpaceCadet4Jesus
      @SpaceCadet4Jesus 11 місяців тому +4

      Absolutely not! That free space you are referring to is allocated to the battery which he removed. An updated model has NO ports or room for upgrades of any kind, except to remove installed memory with a newer single stick of ram. This laptop has only one memory slot.

    • @FROILANDRES
      @FROILANDRES 10 місяців тому +1

      It you find a sata connection in the Motherboard, and you wan to use it without internal battery or buy a smaller one, it may be possible. Otherwise I recommend use external 2.5" SSD with enclosure.

      Check your Processor's maximum supported RAM, some models can go up to a total of 40 GB RAM (8 GB Soldered + 32 GB in Slot), and it will use dual channel as it has a soldered Memory module and will share up to 50% of installed RAM with the Intel GPU or will share up to the Maximum RAM supported by the Intel GPU.

      Hey, i just bought the same laptop model as you. I have a question. Is your laptop getting hot on usual activities? Cause mine does and i dont know if it s broken or not. I bought it brand new so idk, it shouldnt have problems.

      @@danmoodiee Check in MyASUS the Fan seeting and check the temperatures using HWiNFO. Also, when hot, check in Task Manager, what processes may be using a lot of CPU and / or Memory. Hope it helps...

    A1502za 1240p 3200mhz ram speed or x1504z 1335u 2666mhz ram speed which is best for intensive task ? Both are 8gb soldered ram and one extra ram slot.

      Go for the Intel Core i5-1335U 13th Generation Processor (12M Cache, up to 4.60 GHz) and install 32 GB (Dual Rank module I recommend) in slot for a total of 40 GB RAM. That processor supports up to 96 GB RAM while the i5-1240P is one generation older and goes up to 64 GB RAM (33.3% less). With the i5-1335U in the future there may be 64 GB modules, and could further upgrade...

      One Slot free. The onboard RAM is permanently soldered in. So if your laptop has 8GB just put another 8GB in the slot.

      @@Gamerhopper Correct, should be as you said but can be 16 GB soldered and 4 GB in slot... Ask the seller just to be sure. Best option will always be more soldered or 2 slots (other models).
