My question is when Neely and Sweeney are going to get blame with these stupid ridiculous contracts? McAvoy contract is a joke, he isn't worth 9.5m per. Pasta 11.5 per and can't stay on his skates and disappears in playoffs. Ullmark is still with Bruins. Then Sweeney goes all in on the team and gets like 3 players we can't afford and essentially screws us for the next 3 seasons. I mean this has been the same song and dance since Neely and Sweeney came into the front office. I love them as players but idk we all know shit rolls down hill. You just can't keep firing good coaches and blaming them. They did it with Julien after he won the cup and took you to a final, and did it with Cassidy that also took you to a final. I could keep going on and on about the stupid decisions that the front office has made throughout the years, but anyway that's my question and opinion. If the Bruins lose, I'm thinking to fire sale the whole team and start from scratch starting with the top down! 😂 Any GO B'S!
@user-km7mg5hx9l easily my favorite comment so far, straight up facts. Fans get crap for being real and it’s just not right. The front office has made decisions to retain players that have shown us when the lights are bright, they crumble. If we let Swayman go, probably the only player who’s shown us he has the nerves for playoff hockey in favor of Ullmark I’ll lose it. McAvoy and Pasta being our best two players has become a curse, both guys would fit right in on the Leafs. We’re used to Bergeron, and Chara, not this nonsense. You have to go fire sale if we set a historically embarrassing record of blowing back to back 3 - 1 leads, you have to rip the heart out of this team and start over because that heart is rattled, they might never close a series out again. Neely and Sweeney are probably praying harder than anyone we win tonight.
@OldBullAndYoungCalf Been watching the Bruins for many many moons, it was the same shit with Harry Sinden 5 finals in 30 or so years no cups. Bad management decisions, among other things. I remember back in the day they were holding out on Ray Bourques contract because he wanted 3.5 million or something like that. This is Ray Bourque, arguably the best offensive/defensive player to play the game and you are going to let him walk. I remember I was just a boy and making a sign saying Let's Pay Ray! @Whiskey, the Old Bull has to take a loss on this one, as I'm finding out that Toronto was sneaky good in defensive metrics this year. @@realrealityeast6278 I mentioned elsewhere, back to back 3 - 1 chokes is a short term pain like no other. The Leafs have had a long lingering pain the last 20 years without a playoff win since last year. Both teams overall have underperformed for the legacy and status they have as 1 cup between the two in the last 50 years is insane.
Leafs have been 1 for 20 on the PP. If they were their normal 25%, series over.
@newtron1 that's the hard truth, also what the hell happened to our power play!? Monty making too many changes, our 50% PPG disappeared since Game 5....
Series is probably already over if the Leafs power play was clicking from game 1. But Bruins have been awesome killing the penalty all year, so that's a tough ask for the Leafs. Only one power play chance for the Bruins last game, but that's what happens when you're never carrying the play. 🤷
This game 7 is between a Stoppable Force and Moveable Object. Someones curse going to be lifted.
Everyone STOP! Scatterthewinds comment FOR THE WIN! This will not be topped. Sorry, bud. I'll be stealing this at some point and might have to mention it on the Pre-Game for game 7! 🤣
The worst part is I don't know which one the Bruins are these past two games. We looked like such a wagon in Game 4, but now both teams are having such a hard time generating consistent offense. It's a mess out there compared to other games around the league.
LEAFS IN 7 BABY
@MrKohulann30 we'd be shocked if it doesn't go that way, I don't know where the Bruins go to find their legs in the next 36 hours.
@MrKrohulann30, you are WRONG! Leafs already won it in 6. This series is over. Bruins are not bouncing back from this.
1 cup in 50 years is so bad lmao
@xxx-jw4ur embarrassing for Bruins, especially with the talent and history of our team.
The last Cup they won was the year before I was born, and they crushed me constantly as a child, so I could be responsible for jinxing them. 🤦
So the young bull says to the old bull, dad let's run down there and duck the cow. The old bull looks at the young bull says son let's walk down and duck all the cows. Go Leafs. Peace ✌️ 😎.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great line from a GREAT movie, @alex79suited.
@alex79suited thanks for the comment! Go Bruins! One thing we can agree on is F the Habs.
Mentalist Oz Perlman predicted leafs in 7! Dude has some stunning sports predictions.....
@landshark6897 wish we had known this before we suffered through the roller coaster of this series! I want off the wild ride, sadly it looks like Game 7 hockey is the only way I can escape.
@@OldBullAndYoungCalf gonna be a fun game brother, my leafs and your bruins!
@@landshark6897 Bring it on! F the Habs
@@OldBullAndYoungCalf you spelled Scabs wrong lol May the best team win brother!
The Leafs are finally looking like they are TIRED of losing to BOSTON in the play-offs--I hope they can overcome this team...FINALLY !!!!!!! GO LEAFS !
Leafs deserve credit for shutting down the Bruins.
@newtron1 Got to give them their flowers, no disrespect to them. Major disappointment in our guys for letting this soft Leafs defense make them look like a peewee hockey team.
I'm eating crow for this, @newtron1. Didn't realize the years Maple Leafs were actually a formidable bunch defensively. I'm just used to them being terrible in that department. Explains some of what is going on with the Bruins offense.
If the leafs make it to the second round with Woll in net they definitely have a chance against anyone. Anything can happen in the playoffs
@84cloeR, that's the beauty of hockey. Unlike most other sports, not always the most talented teams win. Effort and toughness play HUGE factors.
@84coleR, not much can stop a hot tender, Woll hasn't been tested much, but you can tell he's gaining a ton of confidence.
Dunno why people think Bob is automatic. How old is he now? How many finals he been too again? Last series was closer then it looked and could have went either way if Bob was anywhere near real numbers. His stats last year up til the finals was almost unheard of though. Oh they beat Tampa? Cool might have been impressive if they swept them Tampa is old and ran down though.
@@realrealityeast6278 the Tampa disrespect! That’s a great question man, is Tampa just really bad? They started to look good at the end of the season, maybe Florida isn’t as scary as we think because Tampa’s age caught up to them.
Loser's ? Who blew 3-1 game lead the last two year's really ?
Joe Bowens call...."were going back to Boston buddy and this time were going finish the job !!!" lol classic Bowen call after Nylander pots second
@gorash100 Great call and I am convinced most if not all hockey minds are inclined to believe that will be the case.
@@OldBullAndYoungCalf we can smell jack Edwards last game ...how poetic it would be
@@gorash100 Come and take it!! I don't see us getting a win, but I am hoping the B's put up a fight at a minimum because I didn't see it the past two games.
That gave me chills ! Bonsie is the goat for leafs broadcasting
@@pattaccone we’re losing two greats this year in Jack Edwards, and Mike Gorman for the Celtics. The voices of teams mean so much, pretty cool call, hopefully we can spoil it though!!
Got to disagree on that one comment Old Bull... The Leaf's have great defensive player's up front !! Obviously you haven't watch much Leaf hockey !! The Bruin's over-achieved this season, and if anyone has a better chance beating Florida it's the Leaf's !
@Whiskey, the Old Bull has to take a loss on this one, as I'm finding out that Toronto was sneaky good in defensive metrics this year. Little less surprising now knowing this that the Bruins are struggling to generate offense. You could be right about the Leafs being better equipped against Florida. Of course none of it matters if your team doesn't bring home the Cup. I don't care if the Bruins make it to game 7 of the Finals and lose. That season is a FAIL!!!!!!!
@DarkFright... Try 54 years bud lol... Go LeafsGo
Crazy that the Bruins and Leafs, two historical franchises have only combined for 1 cup in 50 years. I think that’s just on Ownership overall.
@@OldBullAndYoungCalf facts
The bruins gave up at game 3. It shows when you cant even get more than 1 shot on goal for an entire period.
We mentioned that they beat their miserable record from Game 5 with 2 shots in the first period by only getting 1! I don't know why they cannot generate any meaningful offense in the first period, but it is making these games MUCH harder to win when you don't even play in their zone for 33% of their game.
@@OldBullAndYoungCalf Agreed. Its difficult to watch when they keep dumping and chasing into the zone without making a play in the offensive zone rather than playing tennis back and forth between zones without getting off even a half-@55ed shot on goal.
@@TheRev71MTLRD You're preaching truth man, neither team seemed like they were too interested in offense last game. Watching the other series it's a different league this series especially these last 2 games, both teams so tight, Bruins obviously much worse.
You're both correct. When you watch the other games, those teams are flying, scoring chances are aplenty, and it's so exciting. This series? A complete tractor pull that is moving at 2 miles per hour
oh no !!!!!!!! Boys!
@jonbennett118 WE ARE ORDERING THE CODE RED
@jonbennett, not looking great for the good guys! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@stevenviner1623 I think you are confused with who are good guys…. Ahh they’re. All good except Marchand!
Leafs did play good
@holleyfamily6860, you are right, especially in that first period, they have not let their backs being against the wall make them look afraid. They are getting out to a jump start and not looking back, they deserved more goals the last two games, but Swayman is just so good. The skaters for the Bruins deserved to lose by 5 the last two games.
I take such comfort in the fact that Bruins fans are feeling the pain us Leaf fans have been feeling for Decades. fwiw John Travolta is in great shape!
And PAINFUL it is, @jeremysimpson8112. Although I will not condone positive Travolta talk. Anyone involved in Scientology I can't stomach.
@@stevenviner1623 Such a hard spot for both fan bases, who ever wins wins the right to play Florida! and I agree 100% on the Scientology.
We can also agree on F the Habs! @Jeremysimpson8112, it's like opening itchy pajamas on Christmas, no one wants to face the Panthers.
This series would have been over in 6 for the Leaf's if they had a full healthy team and started Woll !! The Bruin's are not a great team no more, Mcavoy is not your best player...Swayman is !
HEY ALL MY BRUINS FRIENDS! Here's Oz Pearlmans prediction for game 7, start watching at 18:40 ua-cam.com/video/DkdsK4gJogc/v-deo.html
Hey guys...I know how you feel...I am a Leafs fan....what can I tell ya'....anyway guys, let me remind you WE haven't won the series yet---the Leafs have let us down in game 7s for decades...It's nice to hear you guys whining and crying for a change, but don't forget, I am a Leafs fan who KNOWS...They just can't do it.--But this year, for some damn reason, I think they can do it. I hope they do. We have More reason to worry--we NEVER win game 7. Except this time.!!!!!!!
There’s lots of Bruins fans around Toronto bro you should see all these fools rocking their Bruins jersey on game days..
@_IAmNameless I think that's pretty cool, Leafs wearing it in Boston, Boston wearing it in Toronto, those fans are battle tested. I have it easy living in an echo chamber near Boston. Shout out to both fans who rep their gear in enemy territory.
@@OldBullAndYoungCalf Boston is about to get smoked brother, this will be Toronto’s 3rd elimination game.. you think Boston is about to win their 1st now? Not happening. Trust me, I’ve watched this sport for over 30 years.
@@_IAmNameless Of course we are! No shot we win this game, Old Bull called Game 6, Game 7 and he wasn't wrong. Leafs got this series and everyone knows it, they're going to get their doors blown off by Florida, but they will finish this great comeback.
Our Bruins are pathetic
Simple and straight to the point @tenioevanglista8370, everyone infront of Swayman is letting him down. We're spoiling such great Goalie play with this garbage effort, energy, and execution.
@tenioevangelista, what a waste of a hot goalie and epic performances. Swayman has been dealt a disgusting disservice by his teammates.
