It would be nice seeing more Christian ladies covering their heads like that and make it look stylish and all. I noticed the scarf really makes the face look even more beautiful in women. I'm in love with that Ghana style.
Hijab just means veil in Arabic there are Arabic christians and they call there headcoverings Hijab as in veil

Thank you for sharing this. I love all the style options that you showed. I usually wear a Jersey style headband because i frequently get headaches when i do the Tichel. My desire is to really branch out and for it to be more apparent that i am head covering and not just wearing a headband.

I used to just explain to them not everyone who covers believes in Islam.
I often point out nuns, Amish and Mennonite sisters, Jewish sisters... I also will often tell people about how during the Renaissance everyone was required to wear a head covering once they were married etc. How it's not just religious for some but a way to protect their hair.
People wear head coverings for all kinds of reasons, people just forget that.

😩😩i used to veil all the time as a Pentecostal but stopped because ppl kept asking if I was Muslim and got tired explaining the cultural history of why Christians veil but I feel called to do it again as a catholic and not just in mass.

Archie Panolin yes but I think it’s best to wear stuff in the back like a snood or a simple scarf style so we can separate ourselves from the world
@@reflexionesdelabiblia6711 The Prophets were Holy. And although you may be right about the bloodline..God in spirit is not a Jew. The flesh of God may have come from the Jews. So trying to put earthly fleshly titles on God is unnecessary. We all are in the fold now. So I was a gentile and now that I believe am a Jew. But most importantly I am in the family/church.

I will tell you the scripture says nothing about covering ear and neck. Just head. I headcover but leave my ears out, as that’s most comfortable for me.
Pray about it and check scripture, 1 Corinthians 11:1-15.

For me I think it's just the hair because the Bible says our hair is our glory, and when we pray/prophesy I think our glory should be covered so only God's glory is the focus.
Or at least I've heard it explained Ina similar way and that makes most sense to me.
I'm still new to covering though. Only a few weeks in and I'm liking it so far. I do feel a difference when I'm not covering as to when I am covered. Still learning and studying though.

I really loved that green one, as a witch, im looking to veil, would I be allowed to wear that.. to me it covers the grown, third eye, throat and heart chakras, I see the amount of protection it gives, I just don't want to seem rude or insensitive..
Just go for it. Veiling spans across many cultures and faiths. Do what makes you happy.

First, LOVE the content :) I'm considering starting to wear head coverings. Second, that bookshelf is giving me large amounts of unnecessary anxiety...why is it so crooked?? lol
Girl It was giving me anxiety too hahaha but at this time I had two littles a husband who worked allll the time and my only reprieve was making videos and feeling like I was having “adult talk” time lol that bookshelf could wait 😂😭😭 if it makes you feel better it’s gone and the books have a new home all things are straightened except for the bottom row of kids books lol

I suppose I don't understand why you have Jewish motifs as a Christian. The two are dimetrically opposed. Judaism rejects Christ completely, that's the whole base of it all.
I would fervently disagree. Also I’m Jewish by birth and I’m not a Christian. Christian’s believe a litany of things not found in any cannon of the Bible. So that would be why. Some would call me a messianic Jew though that is still a form of Protestantism to me therefore I also reject that title.

Dear sister, our head coverings should not be westernized into something acceptable to people in the secular world. We should keep it simple and humble in a way that honours our heads. Also, the head covering is intended to draw attention away from our glory - being our hair and not to attract attention x
