Yesss, I made them and added choco chip for my son. I rested the dough in the fridge for 15 mins after I cutting them . I used 1/2 tsp baking sofa and 3/4 tbsp baking powder. Baked at 400 22 mins in convection ( didnt adjust temp) and they are absolutely WONDERFUL. Followed the keep all ingredients cold advice and i think that def had an impact on how these turned out.two thumbs up!

Thank you so much for this recipe! I had been looking for the right recipe for cranberry orange muffins, and stumbled on this video and decided to give it a try. I cut the cranberries in half, and soaked them in the juice of the orange (1/4c)and a squirt of honey (about 1/4c). I used whole milk because thats all I have, and only used 1/4c because of the OJ. I also used half whole wheat flour instead of AP, so I couldnt sift (I tried...) I also didnt chop up the butter enough, so it was in really big chunks. I also cut the "wheel" in half and made two small wheels of mini scones.
They turned out so perfectly!!!! I already want to make another batch to freeze for later. These are so, so good!!
    Thank you!!

I usually skip the step of sifting the flour, lol, but I will be sure to sift it in this recipe.
I like the idea of using frozen cranberries so that you keep the dough cold.
