Annatar helped the Elves of Eregion forge the Seven rings for the Dwarven Kings. He helped them forge the rings for the Nine mortal Men doomed to die. But the three Elven rings were forged in secret by Celebrimbor. Sauron only found out about them once the One Ring had been created. So how did the inscription on the One Ring include the three Elven Rings ? Was it added later ? Much about the Ringlore is muddled and inconsistent.
This is top notch. One observation is that in The Rings of Power, Sauron there is depicted astonishingly well. The one here looks a bit shifty, but Halbrand looked like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, a much more convincing deceiver and oh what a fabulous plot twist! Masterful.
Fair enough 😂. I actually enjoyed how in rings of power, he looked a bit like Aragorn in the movies and their stories seemed to run parallel - until right towards the end, it was revealed that Halbrand was actually Sauron! I never saw that one coming lol. I thought it was very well done.
@@numenorean81 Love the narrator's voice as well. When you do the Downfall of Numenor video could you use the voice of the narrator in the video about the Witch King losing his soul to Sauron? Really enjoyed that video, best video on Tolkien lore yet, I keep on coming back to it. Also about the castle of the Witch King, do you think after he became a wraith he tore it down and built the fortress of Carn Dum over it or do you think he still kept the castle and resided in it from time to time? If so even more interesting, is the castle still intact at the end of the third age at the time of the War Of The Ring or is it just a bunch of ruins?
@@theguitarzone767 I envision him lingering in his old castle for perhaps a century or two before moving on. Over time, the fortress succumbed to far greater decay and darkness than it ever had during the era when he was entirely human. What becomes of the castle after his departure remains cloaked in mystery, for now. :)
@@numenorean81 Just watched and listened to the video on the WItch King losing his soul for what is probably the 50th time now. Would you be able to do a follow up based on his castle years later, when he's transforming into the Witch king or when he's ruling over Angmar in his fortress of Carn Dum? Would be cool to get a glimpse into his fortress at Carn Dum and take a look at the necromancy he practiced.
@@theguitarzone767 wow mate, that is intense :) The follow up should include some footage and a narrative from his year in Carn Dum. Yeah, for sure, as it is very central to his character, it is the Witch king we are talking about here, after all! Just a warning, don't expect this video to drop in a next few weeks. It is a very work intensive process to create a video like this, especially when there is a lot of "speculation" to be had. It just requires much time and patience, is all I am saying :) But It will come, be sure of that!
I am sad to say I could not get the right pronunciation into my latest video about Galadriel, the audio was already done so, but for anything henceforth, good times ahead!

Really good content, love the use of AI to bring it all to live, sub given :)
I am happy to have you on board, welcome!
Of course they’re cursed sore on random. They weren’t meant to help. They were meant to allow them to control the ring bearers
We are in agreement!

In my mind this is how he could look as Annatar. The series version simply isn't handsome enough IMO. But Hey, taste differ, I respect your take!

@@fred20097hell yeah!
Many more of these please
Thank you, I will do my best!
Great video! Could you do one about Akallabeth, Downfall of Numenor?
Hey there, absolutely!
Numenor is something I want to focus on, naturally :) so it will come.
Thanks for watching.

AI?
AI help me bring these stories to life.
@@numenorean81 You do you, but should disclose it in the description though. AI content is not everyone's cup of tea
@@thor.halsli So I have noticed. I updated my channel description with a disclaimer, that will have to do.

Also, the "g" in Eregion is a hard g.
It doesn’t matter though. Yes it’s KEL•ibrimbor and EreGEEon. But but whoop lol
Excellent work!
