Just gonna say welcome to the Pity Party. He's known as The Sad Clown with the Golden Voice. Exceptionally talented performer and has been doing it for years. He's also about seven feet tall. Yes to more Puddles reactions. ❤
I love Puddles. The crazy thing about his version of Dancing Queen is that it sounds so much slower than the original, but times out almost exactly the same as ABBA’s.
Hey, Larry. Glad you discovered PPP and found him amazing like many of us. Check out his Hallelujah cover, one of the favs of this track. Looking forward to your reaction. P. S. You're the only reaction channel i watch. Love your reactions, man
It's like a grandfather telling a story about his granddaughter who really loves dancing and really loves music and he's committed to telling the story of that young lady this is excellent you all to do war pigs but It's like a grandfather telling a story about his granddaughter who really loves dancing and really loves music and he's committed to telling the story of that young lady this is excellent you all to do war pigs by puddles pity party
Your reaction is very similar to mine. My mind was blown. I reckon the original is one of the greatest pop soings ever written...but (as you say) he steps into that song on his own terms...it takes a pure soul to do that well. I've heard various versions of instrumentation to go with that incredible voice....this guitar totally nails it for me. I love the sound of it with his voice.
I don't think it's a mistake that he borrows Pagliacci's clown as opposed to Ronald McDonald, or Emmit Kelly. He may not be a classically trained singer, but he has an outstanding hook, and sometimes, that's all it takes. He also has the emotional range of a great actor.
It took a little bit longer for your mind to be blown than I expected. Puddles is just an amazing talent; he does pour his heart and soul into every performance. You should definitely check out his "smoosh-ups" (mash-ups) of some of the most unlikely songs. I think your mind will really be blown by how well this one works: ua-cam.com/video/K4MKQMTHplI/v-deo.html
Theatrical and porcelain doll. Very perceptive comments. Really? I mean really, this is a cover? Yes, I know who ABBA is. So incredibly original. I’d have to say, the clown fits his interpretation. Great reaction! The things you draw out from a performance, love it!
This is really dating me, but I got strong "One Froggy Evening" vibes when I first saw Puddles (the Loony Tunes singing frog cartoon). Totally unexpected. LOL
Very nice, Chris. I've never heard of this guy. But I have to say that I liked his arrangement of it. I guess you were expecting me to say this, but it kinda reminds me of what Angelina Jordan often does with her covers, ref "Suspicious Minds". I also like the pauses, and how he navigates the dead space, and how he's switching from being behind the beat to all of a sudden be slightly ahead of it. And who do you think THAT reminds me of ??? LMAO I like his voice, but to me it is not outstanding. But it doesn't have to be outstanding for me to like it, even though it helps. You know who I'm talking about. Lucy of course 😁 (SERIOUSLY, Al ??? ) This one triggered my interest enough to go and watch some more of his stuff, so thanks again, Bud. Have a great week ahead! Much love from your buddy, Al ♥♥♥♥♥
Thanks bud! Yea, I don't think he has the most perfect voice, but his presentation and oddity of delivery is so dang captivating! Hope you had a nice weekend my friend!
@@larryshair A chill weekend, just trying to get some energy back before Monday. Just came back from my parents-in-law, where we had elk steak for dinner. Can't complain 🙂
Ok, every time I see a clown I expect him to trip over something to make the viewer smile, ride on a monocycle juggling or just running after you with chainsaw or other weapon covered in blood but THIS? This is the weirdest clown I've ever seen, lol 😅 really liked his performance and loved the reaction of course. P.S. Good to see ya, rough weekend here. I had to leave my "best friends" after I found out their real intentions. They are the ones I wanted to share my story and condition with... now I'm glad I never did that.
i absolutely love your reactions, Chris. so genuine, one of my favourite reaction channels :). i suggest you react to Two of Us by Louis Tomlinson (pronounced Louie Tom-lin-son). former member of One Direction ! he wrote it about his mum who passed away in 2016, and it makes me cry every time. x
Hey Larry I usually let others recommend songs and just enjoy watching your reactions. Now that you’ve been willing to explore more genres to react to. I have recommendation that’s non-English but the performance convey so much emotion. Lisa-Homora / the first take It’s the theme song of a Japanese anime movie called “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the movie: Mugen Train” also Demon Slayer is an anime series. I know you prefer to watch the music video then the lyrics video. But if you wish to know what she sings then turn on the subtitles by clicking the cc on the video.
Check out his cover of Royals, performed with Postmodern Jukebox. PMJ, if you have not reacted to anything with them, is a rabbit hole worth jumping in to. By the way, I believe he was in a band made up of clowns called Greasepaint before striking out on his own.
Not what I thought it would be. More of a theatrical vocal. The clown persona threw me off totally. Nice to see you mixing it up. Don’t forget the links I sent you for Jesse. Glad to see your hair coming back.
Larry-been with you since you started on YT. Tool. React to Tool. Start with The Pot, and always choose lyric videos with them…unless it’s Sober. If it’s Sober, you do the live performance from the early 90’s. Love your content, and I want to see you hit 100k, ASAP. Tool will bring you there. Especially as you’re a religious man. The lead singer is spiritual af, and grew up christian. Unlike lyric-heavy rap reactions, the Tool community wants you to research the meaning of the lyrics, because the point isn’t to “get it”, it’s to understand it. That means that you can feel free to research the song’s meaning (maybe not exact lyrics), so you understand the references. Oh-and the Hurt music video by Johnny Cash. It was written by a young heroin addict that became a rockstar, but found new meaning for Johnny at the end of his life. Knowing the source of both artist’s sense of regret, makes it devastatingly and beautifully heartbreaking All the best!
Wait until you experience the totally unexpected pairing of Haley Reinhart with Puddles for a recreation of "Mad World" ( ua-cam.com/video/aVevvbFNKiY/v-deo.html ). This one is more of the magic that is PostModern Jukebox.
Please do this song : Classified - all about you (Retrospected version). Very underrated song and a great rendition of the song including the original artist years later from the original song release.
Hey LarrysHair! I’ve been watching a little here and there since your reaction to Aurora’s runaway but after your reaction to Stan by Eminem I was hooked. I don’t know if you have gotten this suggestion before but I think you would absolutely love a British artist by the name of Dave. His songs, similarly to Eminem, contain very deep subject matter and his performance of his song Black at the British awards show “The BRITs” is in my opinion one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. Anyways if you’re interested, here’s a link to that performance. ua-cam.com/video/mXLS2IzZSdg/v-deo.html
Hi Cutie I really like this. I cant wait for when you will do my suggestions. I wonder if you will fall in love with The music, lyrics and voices just as I have 😊 Stay safe my friend
Can I request a video for you to react to? It's called Hiroyuki Sawano Attack on Titan suite. It's probably a little different from what you're used to but it's truly a beautiful compilation of songs from an anime show. I think you'd really, really enjoy it :) It has over 27 million views!!
Puddles Pity Party and Haley Rhinehart singing Mad World.
No prior experience with Puddles. Wow. It's as if Dancing Queen was always a form of injury.
Just gonna say welcome to the Pity Party.
He's known as The Sad Clown with the Golden Voice. Exceptionally talented performer and has been doing it for years.

Yes to more Puddles reactions. ❤
I love Puddles. The crazy thing about his version of Dancing Queen is that it sounds so much slower than the original, but times out almost exactly the same as ABBA’s.
It's such a creative and remarkable version of the song. THIS is how you redefine a great song and make it even better... in such a different way...
Hey, Larry.

Love the way Puddles interprets songs. Thanks for giving Puddles some time, loved the reaction. :)

Thanks for showing me a whole new world of hidden emotions that I wouldn't have seen without such a guide!
Robbie Fulks also nails this one. He is an amazing songwriter, singer and guitarist.
I don't think it's a mistake that he borrows Pagliacci's clown as opposed to Ronald McDonald, or Emmit Kelly. He may not be a classically trained singer, but he has an outstanding hook, and sometimes, that's all it takes. He also has the emotional range of a great actor.
I think that was very well-said. Now that I think of it, you are 100% right.
There's the saying, blink and you'll miss it. Puddles misses nothing!
Puddles also does "Chandelier" by Sia as well.
I haven't seen this version before. The one I remember Puddles is in a pub connecting with patrons in the room Too funny.
Powerful in every sense.
It took a little bit longer for your mind to be blown than I expected. Puddles is just an amazing talent; he does pour his heart and soul into every performance. You should definitely check out his "smoosh-ups" (mash-ups) of some of the most unlikely songs.

i'm happy your mind was blown. all of his music is excellent, i think you'd love I Who Have Nothing or Space Oddity. he's amazing.
Puddles is good stuff, you have to check 'Stairway to Gillian's Island" its awesome and creative

Have you had the cahnce to check out Puddle's version of Where Is My Mind?
No, I MUST add that to the list! Thanks!
Would like to have you review Tom Ball if looking for a place to go.
A completely different take on the song. Nailed it.
Can you do a reaction to Eminem Remind me please thanks , Gaz in Birmingham Uk
I like his voice, but I'm sorry, the costume is just creepy! No, I'm not scared of clowns as a general rule.
react to the wall movie pink floyd
Ohh, that would have been good, but I know the whole thing front to back, so I can't react to it, but great suggestion!
Crazy train by puddles is a great cover if you get a chance to look. I'm from the UK I love your reactions.
