I was in Blackmarket Records the day this came out and just remember the whole place just going nuts! ‘Who wants one?’ Yes yes yes - sold all in about 30 seconds
Francille St. Claire I have loved this tune since what way back in 95? I was12! Jungle music literally changed my life so tell your cuzzy thanks from me! She was a part of something amazing! It has always been my therapy so much so....I’m about to start jungle dance fitness classes!Long live the movement ❤️
Same age as you mate….hearing this just took me back to house party I went to as a 14 year old full of older kids. Remember the strobe and some dude with dreads dancing in front of it with junglist shaved in the back of his head…..we had some proper culture back then!
Same here! M-Beat - Incredible (feat. General Levy) was the first jungle track I heard when I was 11 in 1994. Bought a Jungle double CD the same year and loved it.
Watched the 'Camden' programme on Disney+ and when roots described listening to this (episode 3) for the first time the day that he arrived in London cracked me up.
Smoking a bit of soap bar in a bucket or a bong with the lads, listening on your mates kenwood stereo with the extra bass button pushed on. The 90s was a good time to be a teenager. Just before the digital age truly took over. Songs like this gem wash over me with waves of nostalgia.
What a beautiful remake. I did not know they had a video to this. This reminds me of my time in the UK. London was amazing. The people fun times. The Nottingham Carnival. 1994 1995 where the time go. Go glad I have the memories.
This track stuck in my head while I was riding my bike to work this morning...perfect tune to start the day with. All the ingredients are right there: beats, bass, vocals - a true classic!
2022 this is still a gem of a track. From Jungle, Garage, UK Funky... Black Brits have produced some phenomenally underrated music over the last 30 years.
@@taridean Black Brits definitely had a HUGE impact on British pop music and culture, especially the ones with West-Indies/Caribbean background. But anyone saying whites weren't highly influencial in genres like Jungle and Garage, obviously knows little to none about Jungle and Garage. Jungle had big names like: DJ Zinc, DJ Hype, Andy C, Aphrodite, Adam F etc. Where Garage had: Artful Dodger, MJ Cole, Sunship, Zed Bias, El-B, Horsepower Productions etc. In the end it was very mixed

My wife went to see Anita Baker in Baltimore on mothers day with her friend and I thought of her song Sweet Love. It brought back memories of this version I was stationed at RSF Lakenheath UK. Man when I heard this version I was like wow. Jungle was big time back in the mid 90s. Beautiful version. . Especially the beak slowed and she says hkw seet how sweet. She has a beautiful voice
i will never for get this tune i all aways think of all the good time i had growing up every time i listen to this tune thank you for making this song BIG UP BIG UP BOW BOW!!!! lol
Quite a lot, jungle had uplifting crescendos amd then rolling bass. Drum amd bass lost the love jungle had imo. But both were top nights raving. Spiritual aura still the best tune ever made.
@@JazzFunkNobby1964There isn’t really much different. I believe jungle music tends to have more variation in beat patterns and use acoustic samples like the Amen Break or Funky Drummer. Drum and Bass, from what I’ve seen, tends to be more melodic and “bassy”; also producers tends to use more synthetic drum samples.
