You can set the record quality to 16:9 1080p @60fps via the Sidequest tools. IT's literaly just one click away. I always see you record 4:3, there is no need to.
Sometimes when I recorded on Quest 1 for Oculus Link, the video's audio would be a little out of sync. I used Avidemux to fix it (choose MP3 lame for the audio type for the time delta to work). As long as the only change was altering the time delta of the audio, the re-save was fast.

When I stream or record, it doesn’t capture any audio at all. none of the audio in the game is captured, and none of my microphone audio is captured. I don’t know why, or how to fix it.

I don't understand why whenever you record it doesn't just upload it to your oculus app where you can download it to your phone so you can share it on any social media. I feel that would be more simple

obs and the three dollar windows app called airreceiver app. the receiver app emulates a Google chromecast. obs allows you to go full HD and remain wireless.

No offense because I really like the quest 2 but Facebook is pretty selfish not letting you share or livestream to other apps, like Sony lets you stream directly to UA-cam and Twitch and share your clips directly to UA-cam. I’m not sure about Microsoft because I don’t have an xbox but I’m guessing they do too.

you can kind of do that, record ur video, click on it, click "share" and share to facebook. Now go to your facebook and screen record it. crop it, and there u go. the quality might not be that good, but thats the best way to do it for now.

Because of you I got to know a lot about vr and was totally fascinated by it since days. I absolutely love your videos. I wish I could have these but they don't sell it I'm India. If I try to ship from America it costs more than double due to high duty taxes. Please convey the message if possible to oculus if they can sell officially in India. There are tons of vr enthusiasts and gamers in India but most are skeptical to buy due to very high price of the same products which cost more than half in other places.
Btw guys he said you need a laptop but if you have a mobile device you can go on the app and then go on camera roll and the press save and then it will go on your mobile device and upload it. Hope this helps 👍

PRO TIP: modmics also work good ! u can make it so it magnetizes to ur headset while connected to PC via bluetooth, overlay that audio in premiere pro or whatever editing software

Just change it to your right eye view then. You can do it in settings. Real simple
