"How did you make your hat?" "Superglue, hopes, dreams, and a shit tonne of lace" Absolutely amazing tutorial ❤️ cant wait to make one for the new years lantern festival
I love how this video is very low key, without all of the gibber jabber, and is very instructive. Beautifully shot and has a nice, quiet background music that enhances the video rather than distracting from it! Great tutorial 😊

As a person who’s been secreching for 7 hours you’re has been sooooo helpful for I have a learning disability and how you did it step by step really help me and you should make a tiktok account for you’re arts too
So much amazing detail! All of the colors and textures you used on the ruffles and the underside of the mushroom cap! The little germs on the smaller white spots near the edge of the cap!! The moss on your shoes!!! All so lovely.
This is amazing! My daughter is going to cosplay as a fairy so I wanted to be a toadstool. I'm THRILLED to have found this. I can't sew at all but I think I'll be able to do most of it with tape, glue and some hand stitching. Thank you so much for sharing! L
You did a great job in making this hat, I’ll be following your pattern for my granddaughter, she needs one for a school play. Thank you very much for posting this video. Big thumbs up to you👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That would be so adorable for a little boy or girl! I love it. If had a young child I’d try to make them one. I doubt my 19 year old son would wear it though. 😂❤️
THIS IS IT! A perfect diy project I needed for my halloween! I will check out if there's some beach hat in my local thrift stores, cause it'll be easier to transform a finished hat than to cut so much cardboard, but kudos to you for using bubblewrap, I totally didn't think I could do so, and I have a lot of leftovers! Sorry for random rambling, I just got so excited!
I LOVE THIS!!!! I actually made my own mushroom hat but it’s not as fancy as yours. I probably spent 50 dollars on fabric and it barely covered the whole thing. Life in California 🫡
Absolutely adorable!!! I'm super inspired to make one of my own. I love how simple and effectively you made it. Thanks so much for this video. Magical mushroom blessings to you
This is absolutely gorgeous! LOVE IT! Especially all the antique lace and ribbons Using a circular needle for the white spot applique on top would make this a little easier to make though
Oh lol, when you see a cute mushroom in the woods and totally unexpected, it starts flossing 😲🤣!!! Very well done, looking forward to more videos in the future 😊
I made one! It turned out ok. I wish I had made the headband bigger to accommodate the gill fabric. It was trickier than I thought to make the dome smooth and super tricky to keep the fabric from puckering along the edge. The video doesn't show any detail on how you managed this. It's much heavier than I expected. I also made a paper mache amanita hat that is lighter weight (therefore more comfy to wear) and was way easier to make.
Hi would you tell me please what kind of glue you used to paste the part that you sew ? And also did you just tied with needles the red fabric to the white one ?
How much fabric did you use for the gills? I'm assuming you had to multiply the measurement of the circumference of the base of the hat. Like, was it double the circumference or triple or something?
i am seriously using this for my halloween costume 😊 also can we all accept how she just rips the duct tape with her bare a hands like i could.not do that to save my life😅
Hello! I'm following your tutorial and making a mushroom hat for my daughter. What of white fabric do you use for under the mushroom ? Thanks for your answer !
Great question! I would for sure add some sort of soft foam padding to the inside part of the hat, it wasn't very comfortable to wear for long periods. And I probably could have glued on some of the jewels and sequins to save time too, I'm not sure why I sewed them all on by hand!
Hello!! I just wanted to know where you got your elf ears because I’ve been trying to find some like them but I sadly can’t so may you point me in the right direction?
This is a great project. I would just add some voice over or text on the screen to explain what you’re doing at each step for ppl who can’t follow (due to not understanding what techniques you’re using etc..) I also personally find videos with more explanation more fun & enjoyable to watch, normally…
I saw on a reply somewhere she used water based pva glue - and it looks like she used this glue throughout the entire video. I'm sure any glue would work

So cute thanks for this!
Hi would you tell me please what kind of glue you used to paste the part that you sew ? And also did you just tied with needles the red fabric to the white one ?
This is amazing!!
Hello from Kentucky! I’m a new friend to your channel. What a cute creative idea you have made and shared with us. 💕
Thank you! 🤗
How much fabric did you use for the gills? I'm assuming you had to multiply the measurement of the circumference of the base of the hat. Like, was it double the circumference or triple or something?
Adorable!
Nice. Would be great for a realistic Toad costume
i am seriously using this for my halloween costume 😊
also can we all accept how she just rips the duct tape with her bare a

This is fantastic!
Hello!
I'm following your tutorial and making a mushroom hat for my daughter. What of white fabric do you use for under the mushroom ? Thanks for your answer !
I wish you talked about how you did the bottom
Love it so clever!!!!!
Wow, you did such an amazing job! What fabric did you use for the red?
Thank you! I used a stretch velvet for the red part.
Dude thank you
Does the cardboard for the circle bend at all when you wear it? I want to make one for Halloween but I'm worried the cardboard will bend.
Is there a supply list somewhere? Thank you.
beautiful!
if you had to do it all over again, what would you change about the process? any helpful tips that you learned along the way?
Great question! I would for sure add some sort of soft foam padding to the inside part of the hat, it wasn't very comfortable to wear for long periods. And I probably could have glued on some of the jewels and sequins to save time too, I'm not sure why I sewed them all on by hand!
@@louannsidonart thanks!
How was the weight? Was it light enough to wear for a a while? I may make one for a festival
Would a foam board also work for the base?
Very nice
Hello!! I just wanted to know where you got your elf ears because I’ve been trying to find some like them but I sadly can’t so may you point me in the right direction?

Water based pva glue - saw her response on another comment.
What’s the diameter of the cap?
Боже, ты такая красивая❤❤❤
In love 💕 💖
What kind of glue are you using here? 8:42
Hi, I'm using water based PVA glue for this part.
This is a great project. I would just add some voice over or text on the screen to explain what you’re doing at each step for ppl who can’t follow (due to not understanding what techniques you’re using etc..)
I also personally find videos with more explanation more fun & enjoyable to watch, normally…
Thanks for the feedback! I will keep that in mind next time I do a project like this one 😊

I saw on a reply somewhere she used water based pva glue - and it looks like she used this glue throughout the entire video. I'm sure any glue would work
