Heaviest fine that I have witnessed was in the US. My friend (driving with me) parked his car in the parking assigned for disabled and he got a fine of USD 750... This is probably similar to what you mentioned in the video

I drove in Dubai sharjah and Abu Dhabi nealry for 7 years (2006 till 2013), but never got even a single fine Alhamdullilah.
Seems the traffic laws are really strict there now !

I live in Canada and we do not have such fines. And even if we get a fine, we can go the Court and Appeal the decision.
You can challenge the decision in UAE 🇦🇪 as well. If you are sure you have not violate the traffic rules.
Appeal does not mean they will forgive you. If you have made mistake they will make sure you pay the charge. Sometimes even extra

Junaid bhai I was ina Makkah during the Hajj season 2012, while I was going to Haram Sharif from Aziziyah North (Makkah), it was a very very crowded night, and we were in a Hiace. The driver was Pakistani, and he took a wrong side (like we often do in traffic jams) for about 50-100 mtrs at max. And suddenly the police came out of nowhere and stopped him. They fined him 5000 SR at that time! And the poor driver was literally almost crying. He was like pooray Hajj season ka profit aik challan mein nikal gya..

I visited last year UAE from US i had USA driving license, i rented a car for about a week and drove to all over Dubai, Abu dhabi, Sharjah with my family luckily i didnt get any ticket.. one time i noticed and got concerned that i got camera flash per going over a speed a lil bit but nothing happend😅 thank god 👍🏻 i guess you normally drive in Karachi so isliye gachchaa khaa gaye😂
In Qatar Red Light crossing fine is 6,000 QAR (approx 465k pkr). Also, traffic department installed AI radar in many places and fine is 1,500 QAR (117k approx).

My heaviest fine was in UK, when i was driving from Aberdeen, down to London.I was driving on M6 on a clear road, on a sunny day at 100 mph.
By the time I spotted the policeman with hand held camera, to reduce speed, it was too Late.

At 1:23, the picture you share it means on left side lane 1 and lane 2 only cars 🚗 with minimum speed should be 120 km and maximum speed. You can drive up to 140km otherwise in both condition lower than 120 or above 140 you will get fine. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Road only
If you are taking left. from a traffic light then make sure dont use second lane until and unless the arrow on road has signed towards left or else you will get a 250 fine.

Hey everyone. I’m from Long Island, NY. I just got my first ticket back in September 2023. For $588 and 6 points on my license. Was going 80mph in a 55mph zone. I fight on that with court and reduce my fine to $265 and no point. Judge was cool.
You are lucky, you do not get points on the license.. Here in the UK, if you are using phone while driving You can get 6 penalty points and a £200 fine if you hold and use a phone, sat nav, tablet, or any device that can send and receive data while driving or riding a motorcycle
Note: if you get 12 points on your licence your licence will be revoked

Was in Dubai in August 2023. I got 1675 AED of fines. Including one on way to Abu Dhabi from Dubai which was 675 AED due to high speeding..

From 2008 i am driving age 18 i got my license till now i pay to abu dhabi police in 15 years 25000dhs 😂 first 10 years i am very bad driver so i get it and 5 years my bad luck 😂😂. And now i am in karachi i m going to one place and we sitting 3 guys on bike and dont have license and we dont have money also. Then police wat ever give to us i have 40rps other 2 friends have only 20rps 20rps total 80rps and they leave us 😂😂😂😂😂. But i am with uae police for fines because of fines there is no violence and smooth traffic and no one died in accident. But only problem they dont give any disscount or any forgiveness like in us and canada in court. Because in every where is camera install so every day you not do 💯 driving. And uae dont have tax but heavy fines 😂😂😂😂

Why it was so much was because I was driving my work van. Work vehicles get a much higher fine as compared to normal civilian vehicles.

Hey just wanted to clarify you stated "punjab mein thori sakti he" Yeah i agree comparitively he the place i live is the corner of islamabad and start of RWP here no one used to go wrong or anything untill last year dont know what happened but suddenly it increased way to much and now driving on a gt road is headic where you are going about 90 to 100 km/h and there is someone going wrong or is trying to cut the gt road horizontally its just daily close calls

One my friends once told me that he got fined just because he crossed the zebra crossing on green signal(For the cars, not pedestrians ). cuz there were no cars incoming so he decided to cross it but little did he know there was an undercover police officer who was standing by the side walk dressed in Thawb.
