The s20. In auto mode the IPhone in some cases is better but if you know how to use pro mode on the S20 you will get better shots almost 100% of the time
Really wondering how Google Cam would work with that Samsung sensor, maybe not a bad idea to do a video comparison on it too. Good video, personally it will end up on what people prefer. White balance, contrasty or more realistic representations, darker shadows or lighten up images. But you definitely can't go wrong picking either of this devices, average user is definitely gonna be satisfied with the results
I compared my wife's s20+ vs my s10+ at low light situations, my wife's s20+ nailed it each time. Better noise and color, both in auto and night mode. I can only meet the s20+ quality in pro mode on my s10+.
Hard to say which is better. The iphone 11 has better contrast on the main camera while the s20 is often too flat or muted. However this makes the s20 do better with really bright spots, having less overexposed highlights. The best would be to take the iphone image and photoshop the s20 over the bright spots.
The difference in philosophy is really shown. My wife has the 11 and I have the 20 FE 5g., so I think I can speak to this. I am also a bit of a camera buff, owning a Sony A6100 with 3 lenses, and the tiny but impressive outdoor-handy Sony HX90 30x pocket cam. The iPhone does night and video better...almost no question. In day and in night shots, the Samsung brightens more in almost every scene, and that is sometimes good, but several times can lose desired detail. There are times when bright beats detail, and times when detail is really crucial. Where I think a huge vote toward the Samsung swings is its extended telephoto range. As this video shows, the 11 already loses even up to 5-10 power on the Samsung. The kicker is the available 10/20/30x which on the screen "live" as you shoot look like they are going to range from poor to useless, but then in the actual result, you see Samsung does a pretty decent job processing , considering that this is digital zoom, not optical. My camera days are waning rapidly. I believe if the two phones are already this good, the future is that for people even as photo oriented as me, mainly travelers who now carry "real cameras" for a few special conditions too good to miss, the extra weight and possible theft is going to make us go with the phone only. I already leave the A6100 and its 3 lenses at home on most trips. EDIT: This is actually Jan 2022 as I write, and already the S22 is rumored to be bringing a "generational leap" to smartphone photography.

The S20 with its 120ghz screen refresh rate, and the camera, just takes the term "Buttery smooth" seriously. Where as, the iPhone with its outdated 60ghz screen refresh rate makes the term "Buttery smooth" loose it meaning. Either way, both are definatley winners in any game versus mode.

I think the s20 has the better night mode. The iphone is indeed sharp, actually in some situations the iphone over sharpened. While the s20 keeps the detail more natural, of course it still adds a bit of software sharpening. But for me, the images produced by the s20 looks better.
Excellent comparison, both are amazing 📷 's. They are pretty equal in many ways. I like the s20 alittle bit better and offers a few more things. But I would be happy with either or? You did a fantasic job!
yeah, true. i guess it's the naturalness of the iphone's camera? samsung's camera makes everything looks good which looks kinda fake plus the physical and internal design of iphone is undefeatable.
Awesome video! Obviously they both look great but iPhone still does better with people skin tones and detail. I personally like the zoom feature of the s20 which is more my style that's why I went with the s20 ultra. But iPhone video and pics of people is second to none
Unbiased opinion here. Disclaimer I am an Android user but not a fanboy of any brand. Based on the video alone, both phones are great with pictures and videos. You really can't go wrong with either for BASIC camera pictures and video. Very little differences when it comes to sharpness and color. Most is a matter of personal preferences and can be adjusted with post editing. However, as a total package, I will give it to the S20 because of the zoom features and a better wide angle lens.
I definitely agree - I think everyone would be happy with the results of the individual phones. But the S20 of course offers more overall with hardware & software
should i buy samsung s20 plus exynos 990 or iphone 11. I am very confused since samsung offers such great specifications besides apple which is a name of its own for its performance and camera!🙄i am not a hard core gamer just an average user! just want my phone to be great deal for myself for a longer period of time! please reply with your honest opinion on this what to buy since they both are coming for almost same price for now.
Based on the main camera s20 won over iphone 11 because it gives more details, clear, and brighter pictures. When it comes to a selfie camera iphone wins because it gives more realistic and natural color of your face.
First: always try to explain in which mode you are recording (for example, 1080p 30 fps), at night if you are using night mode or not. Second: the videos on s20 were all out of focus and you said nothing about it, I think you should have given your analysis. I would say there was something wrong with you device or configurations. Lastly, i would really apreciate if you wold show de shutter speed in the photos, especially at night time. Samsung has been really bad at taking photos of moving subjects because of the long exposure time, I would like to know if they correct it. Anyway, good job e continue with the work!
I’ll always take a more accurate camera over one that “looks good”. I’m on a Xs Max right now, and I think it does a good job (for the most part) at making things look accurate to real life. If it fails to capture what I’m seeing, I usually just edit it in Lightroom/Darkroom (I find it funny that the two editing apps I use have really similar names) to look the way that my eyes see it
Went from the 11 to the s20 and I will admit the videos off that iphone are pretty dang good but the s20 makes me realize how far ahead android is in today's world
Night time shorts and videos slightly better in iPhone 11 rest is best in S20.. Also you have more versatility in S20 like Super slow mo, pro photo and video mode, 30x zoom, recoding from front and back camera in single shoot etc..
It would be nice if it was in the stock camera app, but you can also record multiple lenses on the iPhone with a 3rd party app designed for manual video recording.
Everyone who has an iPhone will say iPhone. Everyone who has a Samsung will say Samsung lol. In actuality, I thought the iPhone was better and had a True Tone while Samsung looks more edited and exaggerated! iPhone all the way!!!
Jessie Birax I get a lot of people say that S20 has more details but the iPhone 11 has a lighter camera.Look it’s just my opinion which you can’t change.
For most pics the S20 looks the best. The iPhone tend to look like it's super cloudy outside even though its sunny and clear blue sky. And just look at the design of the phones.. The S20 looks modern while the iPhone looks super dated.
I have a s20+ personally i like the software better because it's more user friendly in my opinion. However i for sure have nothing against Apple and i respect Iphones they are powerful phones made for the office life for sure.
It's unfortunatelly bad. If you can get it with Snapdragon then take it, otherwise not. Iphone 11 is also bad, very outdated screen and design with notch and thick bezels. I would wait to see what other phones come out next.
Indeed samsung has most features but they are not working properly yet. The live video is still not good. Iphone has 3-4features but those ones work perfect!
i own a a51 rn and im really dissapointed by the camera quality. should i switch to the iphone 11? i mostly take selfies & pictures from close objects.
Grrr the S20 has superior optics but iPhone has superior image processing. It shows in every image that they each have their own advantages. And it’s hard to choose. But of course, I personally choose iPhone because of its App Store and processing power
S20 with Snapdragon only or iphone 11 if you dont care that it has a horrible display. If you come from Amoled dont buy iphone, I had to return it because the display was very bad, cheap LCD.
@@lorep7412 you're very wrong. It has a LCD display but it's not that bad as you claim. You barely notice a different to the iPhone 11 pros display unless you put it side by side
Dude, you are biased towards Samsung for sure!! In the pics you have in this video, the iPhone looked better to me in EVERY pic, plus, I have and iPhone 11 and a Note, so the iPhone is better, period!!!
*TOo much sharpening* The Samsung s20 I can see so much over sharpening around things, most certainly in low light video. It looks horrid. I believe, although the s20 has a tad more detail, I believe this is mostly due to the aggresive sharpening. And if you just sharpen your photo from the iphone slightly You'll have the same look. But I believe the photos and DEFF the video look best on the iphone. I can see how the touch of clearness may seem nice to people on the s20. But in not ideal situations that sharpening can look very contrasty, and nasty.
i think it would be interesting to compare both phones taking photos “professionally”, like taking cinematic photographies. since they would be compared at their 100%. anyway, great video :)) s20 performed better at some locations, but the iphone 11 seems to give more accurate scenarios, while samsung seems to be kinda off

Yeah, i have the ultra and the video quality is amazing idk why it looks hazy on his.
Didnt clean the lens probably...
I don’t know but for me, there’s really something good or better with iphone’s camera, and in terms of physical and internal design ios always wins.
yeah, true. i guess it's the naturalness of the iphone's camera? samsung's camera makes everything looks good which looks kinda fake plus the physical and internal design of iphone is undefeatable.
yo iphone back design damn good but the screen is very small:(
Both are amazing I'm looking to get the iphone 11 but how's the battery
Yup interesting comparison between Apples budget phone vs Samsung’s flagship, absolutely fair 100% 👌🏻
Both are flagships.......
Evens Baptiste. iPhone 11 is a budget flagship hence you get limitations
Great camparison video really well compared , wanted to see 1 more feature i.e live focus video , btw 🧡 vegas 😅
The iPhone looks ready to edit, while the galaxy looks ready to post to social media
D- Sean you mean opposite! iPhone destroys the S20 jack!
@@richardjackson5670 lol nice joke
I just want a dedicated camera with no "phone" features for a little less price.
exactly what i was thinking, and the closest i could think of was the google pixel, let me know if youve found a good 'camera phone'
Being a Samsung user,Samsung has beautify on out of the box but in the settings you can set it to zero.thank me later.
Yeah but even with the beautify off the colors are a bit unrealistic
@@alessioneh Samsung is a Korean company. That's why the colors look brighter.
@Maxanish in Korean beauty, it is preferred to have lighter skin
Why are you comparing two phones with 300$ difference?
Very helpful! Thank you
Awesome video!
Still gotta wait a year till I get the Galaxy S20+ bts Edition 😔✊
u smart smarttttt
@@heklapilar200 Lmao what do u mean by that-
should i buy samsung s20 plus exynos 990 or iphone 11.
What about battery life? I heard iPhone's batteries don't have much capacity and also the battery of the Samsung s20 isn't the best. Experiences?
I love your video 😘
Iphone 11 user here
S20 took it. Overall better light exposure and HDR
Based on the main camera s20 won over iphone 11 because it gives more details, clear, and brighter pictures. When it comes to a selfie camera iphone wins because it gives more realistic and natural color of your face.
I’m early again 😉💜💜🥺 I love the precise info you give keep doing that it great 👍🏻 love from the uk
Super early! Thanks for the support!
07:48 no way that s the s20 video quality LoL
He is biased so he put the samsungs fps to 30 while having iphones in 60 so that the iphones will look better
@@Hikoplouyr it s not about fps its about quality he ^probably was recording on 720p onthe s20 while recoridn in4k on iphone
@@sanjivinsmock2306 yeah exacly
Does anyone else have insanely bad quality with the front camera in low light with the S20? Even my galaxy S7 was better in low light.
They are both good phones, one is for iOS users and the other one for Android users
I’ll always take a more accurate camera over one that “looks good”. I’m on a Xs Max right now, and I think it does a good job (for the most part) at making things look accurate to real life. If it fails to capture what I’m seeing, I usually just edit it in Lightroom/Darkroom (I find it funny that the two editing apps I use have really similar names) to look the way that my eyes see it
Went from the 11 to the s20 and I will admit the videos off that iphone are pretty dang good but the s20 makes me realize how far ahead android is in today's world
S20 or s20+?
My sheets are green, but when I take a picture with my 11 they are showing up blue.
Samsung tends to put everything in their Smartphones without really reliable results....
I am an android user but for now, I just want to change to be ios user again :) I love the detail of the iPhone camera
Really
Everyone who has an iPhone will say iPhone. Everyone who has a Samsung will say Samsung lol. In actuality, I thought the iPhone was better and had a True Tone while Samsung looks more edited and exaggerated! iPhone all the way!!!
No our camera is 8K and 108MP (s20 ultra) iphone11promax had only 4K and 12MP
Great video, great photography skill.
Where is the poll for who
Do u think won ?
Just let me know right here in the comments! 😃
I think the iPhone 11 won
@@ieena9466 you think only but the reality is S20 won easily
Jessie Birax well it’s just my opinion
Jessie Birax I get a lot of people say that S20 has more details but the iPhone 11 has a lighter camera.Look it’s just my opinion which you can’t change.
For most pics the S20 looks the best. The iPhone tend to look like it's super cloudy outside even though its sunny and clear blue sky.
And just look at the design of the phones.. The S20 looks modern while the iPhone looks super dated.
Samsung is Life
I have a s20+ personally i like the software better because it's more user friendly in my opinion. However i for sure have nothing against Apple and i respect Iphones they are powerful phones made for the office life for sure.
Which one is better in portrait shots???
From these both phones?
How 'bout the exynos variant?
It's unfortunatelly bad. If you can get it with Snapdragon then take it, otherwise not. Iphone 11 is also bad, very outdated screen and design with notch and thick bezels. I would wait to see what other phones come out next.
www.notebookcheck.net/The-Exynos-990-powered-Samsung-Galaxy-S20-and-S20-appear-to-have-a-better-camera-than-the-Snapdragon-865-models.459971.0.html
Indeed samsung has most features but they are not working properly yet. The live video is still not good. Iphone has 3-4features but those ones work perfect!
Ioana G that’s what I always say
I thought the iPhone 11 had dual pixel autofocus
Tamim Tech It has 100x focus pixels
@@kongsales6285 is that a form of pdaf focus or dpaf
Tamim Tech i think it’s more likely pdaf but it’s more faster and efficient.
i own a a51 rn and im really dissapointed by the camera quality. should i switch to the iphone 11? i mostly take selfies & pictures from close objects.
Yes
Is it worse than a51?
Grrr the S20 has superior optics but iPhone has superior image processing. It shows in every image that they each have their own advantages. And it’s hard to choose. But of course, I personally choose iPhone because of its App Store and processing power
Lot of time, when you chose S20 I chose iphone. I don't know why😂😂 Btw I'm a oneplus user.
DO THE S20 HAS HEATING ISSUE?
Yup..Due to the Exynos!!
to be honest either cameras system are good on its own way.
Give me suggestion which one I need to buy iPhone 11 or galaxy s20?
S20 buy or 11 pro dont buy iphone 11..
S20 with Snapdragon only or iphone 11 if you dont care that it has a horrible display. If you come from Amoled dont buy iphone, I had to return it because the display was very bad, cheap LCD.
S20!! :3
@@lorep7412 you're very wrong. It has a LCD display but it's not that bad as you claim. You barely notice a different to the iPhone 11 pros display unless you put it side by side
Go for an iPhone 11. Or oneplus 8 pro if you love Android . I don't recommend the s20 but the choice is yours
Perfecto Both are awesome hats off 🍾🍾🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dude, you are biased towards Samsung for sure!! In the pics you have in this video, the iPhone looked better to me in EVERY pic, plus, I have and iPhone 11 and a Note, so the iPhone is better, period!!!
Sorry for me the Samsung over saturates and over brightens. Pixel 4 best. IPhone best videos
*TOo much sharpening*
The Samsung s20 I can see so much over sharpening around things, most certainly in low light video. It looks horrid.
I believe, although the s20 has a tad more detail, I believe this is mostly due to the aggresive sharpening. And if you just sharpen your photo from the iphone slightly
You'll have the same look.
But I believe the photos and DEFF the video look best on the iphone. I can see how the touch of clearness may seem nice to people on the s20. But in not ideal situations that sharpening can look very contrasty, and nasty.
Thankyou !! You helped me decide and I decided to bought Iphone 11 since i was a samsung user before !! You are really handsome though mwahh
Lol calm down buddy pretty sure he taken
i think it would be interesting to compare both phones taking photos “professionally”, like taking cinematic photographies. since they would be compared at their 100%. anyway, great video :)) s20 performed better at some locations, but the iphone 11 seems to give more accurate scenarios, while samsung seems to be kinda off
Thank you for bring me back to Las Vegas.🥰🥰🥰
On the front facing camera can you zoom out on your pictures like on the iPhone 11?
