Just saying you’ll be happy with both. Using the iPhone 11 for 2 days now.. the screen doesn’t really disappoint lol. I was using the Samsung a50s so I’ve upgraded in every other aspect! My bro has the s10 and he says it lags just a year after owning it.. I don’t know why people don’t talk about this!
@Josh 3204 inefficient socs are to be blamed. Their in house exynos is behind the battery hogging and poor performance after a couple of years. Also the fact that android updates are heavy. I am talking about a full OS update and not a patch. But then if you use a phone for more than 3 years you should upgrade because beyond that it is just a compromise. By this point you also got your moneys worth. Depends on the level of wear. If it fully worn out and performs terribly that is a sign you need to upgrade.
I’ve been an iPhone lover for years but I’m over it! The last one I got was an iPhone XS and I cannot wait to switch to Samsung! I’m tired of the old boring design and this phone speaker is horrible I can only talk only speaker phone in order to hear someone! You made my decision much easier by watching this! Thanks!
S20 for me. Why care for battery performance when in standby, really I want to use it. And the multitask friendly use is very captivating. Not to mention the high-performance camera.

Dnt go to iphone. I know alot of ppl who had iPhones and finally upgraded to samsung and trust me they never regretted it. I have a galaxy s9 and it's still dope. Ima pass this phone to my daughter and buy the s20 next week
iPhone 11 wins for me. I only care about a few things on a phone 1. Performance. A13 still beats the 865 and exynos 2. Cameras. The 11 doesn't ship with camera problems and still has the best video on any smart phone (mkbhd, uravgconsumer, Linus tech tips, tomsguide) 3. App optimization. Apps are better optimized for the 11. And app store has better apps than play store. And you get both Google and apple apps 4. Longevity/support. I'm a practical person and I don't like buying phones every year. I want a phone that gets new features every year for 5-6 years. 5. Best battery life -Mkbhd on smartphone awards 2019. Also outlasts the note10 That's it. No gimmicks. Just a phone that nails all the basics ------------ PS: I'm okay about the display. 2 reasons 1. There was a test between 1080p Android vs iPhone xr. Surprise, people thought the iPhone xr had the 1080p display. *Numbers and specs aren't everything* I'm okay with a decent display. 2. I don't need a super high res on my phone. -I'm not a peasant. I don't do media consumption on my phone. -Phones are small. I have a 4k tv that integrates well with my phone for media consumption. Whatever I wanna watch on my phone, I can watch on a 4k tv. also, I don't consider display a priority, as I've said, I have my TV, my laptopand iPad pro for that. Maybe for you display is a priority. But not for me.
Even as a long time Apple user I think the S20 design is so beautiful and much more futuristic than the iPhone 11. I hope this year’s iPhones have thinner bezels and a smaller notch.
Ive been an Apple user since the release of the IPhone 4, I’ve never owned Samsung or Android. However my boss bought me an android phone to use as a work phone (it’s not nothing crazy) - it’s a Nokia 5 endi, while using the Nokia I realized how much better the screen was I never knew also you could watch UA-cam mini sized with Android or Samsung. I recently started watching Samsung videos and woah was I in Middle Ages with my IPhone X. I will definitely be buying a Samsung
I have used both, I love the samsung customization. However, the apple ecosystem in America with iMessage and drop sharing just makes apple better. Plus, photos on the S20 are so oversaturated. The iPhone camera is clearly better
Man there’s just something about iPhone design language that I just appreciate. But S20 Ultra is up there too especially with that squared off black camera module 😍
Personally I love the design of the iPhone 11, especially the camera display. And as someone who has had Samsungs my whole life before this, the longevity of an iPhone is outstanding compared to Samsung phones (even when it comes to software updates). Plus, as great as a Samsung camera is, the photos always have white tone to it, not very vibrant.
Yes, the iPhone longevity is outstanding. My 3GS lasted all they way through the release of the 5S. At my age device longevity, lifetime warranties, and the like are not something I am concerned about.
I got the s20+ and its just makes me super satisfied with my purchase and it keeps on suprising me over and over again and im a know tech very well its just a great time to be living in (except for the corona)😅
Collin Wilmes I cant give an opinion on the S20 because i haven’t used one. But I like Samsung phones and from what I’ve seen of it on You Tube, i’d definitely get the regular 20, but not the ultra.
There is something about iphones that make apps run wayyyy smoother. Take a look at how pictures look using snapchat w android for example. Looks terribly pixelated
I also have a Iphone 8 Plus and I can't deside witch one I want to get. I have had both Samsung and Apple and I like them both for spesific reasons. I just really want a smaller phone because I hate the plus, it's way to big for me
On the S20 rn, honestly I do prefer it over the iPhone 11, which I have also had the opportunity to use. To be honest though, it all depends on what your preference is.
@Josh 3204 the original iPhone shipped with a lockscreen byapss, point being, issues happen. UA-cam videos aren't going to do a 108mpx pic Justice. I hope you don't believe your 12 mpx camera will be giving you pictures you can crop and change the subject.
3:26 There's actually an 'Eye Comfort Shield' in the Galaxy S20 display settings and you could set it to adaptive. Not sure whether it is exactly the equivalent of True Tone, though
Even though the iPhone have thick bezel but the symmetrical design locks nice for the eyes apple is the only company thinks about Symmetry. the Samsung with no bezel on the side thin bezel on bottom and thinner on the top
I've never understood how people like the extra weight in an iPhone like it's stronger. The Galaxy phones are intentionally lighter because they understand that we use our phones 1 handed alot of the time. So a phone being too heavy wouldn't work with this
I'm a Samsung fan and have been since froyo but the iPhone 4s was a mint little phone that had weight to it and felt premium in your hand. Really hated the OS though.

I read comments for 10 minutes and couldn't find a single one that prefers the 11 over the s20. The 11 pro doesn't measure up either. 3 things I can do with my s20 that i've never been able to do with any iphone(12 year user): 1-Ability to watch videos regardless of format effortlessly 2-Ability to film while using my bluetooth earbuds as mics(awesome) 3-With the latest update, UI 2.5, many features released with the Note20 are now available to s20 users(and soon, other galaxy models as well). Now, I can pair my phone in mere seconds to my smart TV's with DEX. Once connected, I can use the phone as a touchpad to navigate via the TV. Not only can you use the TV as a second display, but you can multitask on the phone while doing so. This is the best feature I've ever experienced on a cell phone. I got my S20 on sale and I've never been happier to break my previous phone.
Parker Wilkins A13 is better in performance and gpu, it clearly beats the 865. Apple was slowing down phones because they WANT people to keep their iPhone, slowing it down is how it last longer so the battery doesn’t degrade, do some research next time. iPhone 11 is clearly the better deal at $699 while the S20 is $999.
@@rolen1684 ua-cam.com/video/hHcasJ2OJOc/v-deo.html the s20 beats the a13, and why would slowing down a phone make you want it?!?! The iphone 6s is slow AND the battery lasts an hour on a full charge, so slowing it down obviously did nothing towards it. Do some research
Go with the s20 for longevity. You have expandable storage so you don't have to keep deleting pic and videos after awhile. The s20 not gonna slow down bc of updates. If the s20 can't get the latest software, you could put a custom rom on it. Trust me, with all the features that the s20 have it will last way longer than any iPhone
Parker Wilkins slowing it down DOES help with it, it makes the battery not degrade. Galaxy s20 beats the 11 in terms of display and refresh rate, it definitely does not have a better chip than the A13. And like I said, s20 is expensive, so iPhone 11 is clearly the better deal and will last 4-5 years with actual updates rather than just small security patches and trying to root the device.

Samsung has more experience in technology so I choose the s20. They've been trusted for decades! I may be a tad biased lol, as I have all samsung Appliances.
iPhone design is looking dated. This looks like 2020 vs 2017 comparison. I'm really confused now as I'm a Apple user as I'm finding it difficult to justify buying 11 pro at same price of S20 plus. Plz help Nick PS: I currently own iPhone X so this should give you some perspective.
Parth Oomphy Well in my case I’d prefer well-shaped notch than a punch hole design and LCD is already fine for me. Switched to IOS last year and I can say iPhone 11 has it all. I suggest you should just wait for iPhone 12 to see if design could be better than 11. If not, then get 11 pro after 12’s release.
Renzel I can’t buy 11 as I have iPhone X which has Amoled and thinner bezels so now 11 seems downgrade. I checked it in store and display looks simply bad in front of my X. Talking about 11 pro, I didn’t buy it cause it’s same design (esp. from front) and notch is still the same. I’m bored with my X so I dont want the old 2017 design. I’ll wait for 12 and if they changed design and reduces bezels and notch a lot, then I will definitely get it. Been saving for it
Parth Oomphy Yes, the 11 is really a downgrade when it comes to design build but a slight upgrade on the internals compared to X. There are recent leaks on the iPhone 12 design, you can check that one out. Wait for the 12 this year instead. Best of luck!
Renzel yeah thanks. I use phone for at least 3 years as I’m still using iPhone X (no point buying $1000 phone and using it just for 1 yr IMO). So I didn’t wanna stuck to old design for another 3 yr if I would have bought the 11 pro. Hence I’ll definitely wait for the 12.
@@parthoomphy7214 Don't get the iphone 11. I sent it back because coming from Samsung Amoled S8+ it felt like a downgrade. Now I am waiting for Samsung to be cheaper and order a S20 with Snapdragor or will get the iPhone 12, though I dont really like ios.
So this is my story. I was an iPhone user who had been with iPhone 6,7,8, & 11 pro max. Just two months ago I lost my 11 pro max at a gym & then my friend convinced me to buy S20+ (SD version). I really didn’t want to u know? I never used any Android device before so I was scared that I might waste my money. But my friend strongly suggested S20+ to me & I eventually bought it 😅 Now it’s safe to say... I SWEAR I’M NEVER GOING BACK TO IPHONE OR ANY APPLE PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.
Samsung might not give you many updates but I'm using the S7 edge. No lagging or slow down whatsoever. I also always buy the international unlocked phones so you're not tired to contracts or providers who have preinstalled stuff on the phone which could slow it down eventually. Either way my phone works fast and never crashes or freezes so idk about the "slowing down" eveyone keeps saying. My phone still works the same way as when I bought it 4 years ago, the only quality that decreased was the camera. Battery holds all day, display looks great, and response is super fast. I'm definitely gonna upgrade to the S20 eventually tho
In the video, you said that the iphone 11 is more longevity than s20 . What did you mean by longevity ? Is it the update life or the deterioration life of the phone? Thanks
I just switched from android to iPhone for the first time ever with the iPhone 11. I probably won’t go back. Listen, Samsung is clearly more powerful and boldly modern. I will give them that here. But Apple is a company of refinement, longevity and reliability. Every Samsung phone I have ever had had to be factory reset after every update because of a massive hit to performance and battery life. In general, battery life and performance starts out great and declines rapidly. The beauty and simplicity of the iPhone 11 is just so pleasant. I don’t worry about it. I pick it up and I know what to expect. In terms of software: I know Android offers a more open and customizable eco system and I no longer care. Having said that I understand why some people prefer it. As I used to be one of those people. Here’s where I may cause some controversy. When I went from the s9 to the iPhone 11 I was expecting a massive disappointment in screen quality. And you know? It’s just not disappointing. I think people get had with marketing. Your eyes don’t need a 2k screen. It’s just a waste of processing and battery. I don’t have any issues with the iPhone screen. And I think the contrast ratio is just much better on the eyes than OLED. Again. No hate for the s20. Samsung is bold and innovative with their product and I wish them great success. I’m just happier with a product that I don’t have to babysit.
I love saamsung S20, wish only I could get it with Snapdragon. I had iphone 11 but returned it because coming from Samsung it felt like a downgrade, the display was very bad and had a yellow tint. The lack of finger print was also annoying, especially outside now with masks.

Even the bare screen itself find it hars to register my finger, much less a glass screen protector, so i like Samsung thon plastic protector. Plus its free, everytime i see apple users rushing to buy cases and screen protectors and worry for the first dew days because they dont have one (if they are the tpye that use, which is the majority) but no samsung since it provided, we dont have to worry, do not have to rush to get a better one as it can last at least the first few days and gives time for us to selectna better one
It is now $800 which is only $100 more expensive than the iPhone which takes away the value of the iphone. FROM ram to camera to refresh rate to wireless and wired charging speeds to hole punch. S20 is one of the best phones ever. They need to extend software support

@Josh 3204 Who uses same phone for 3 years?
@@miked6367 Yeah if you are an iPhone user enjoy Apple deliberately slowing down your phone.

@@dlragos Noo why
iPhone 11 wins for me.
I only care about a few things on a phone
1. Performance. A13 still beats the 865 and exynos
2. Cameras. The 11 doesn't ship with camera problems and still has the best video on any smart phone (mkbhd, uravgconsumer, Linus tech tips, tomsguide)
3. App optimization. Apps are better optimized for the 11. And app store has better apps than play store. And you get both Google and apple apps
4. Longevity/support. I'm a practical person and I don't like buying phones every year. I want a phone that gets new features every year for 5-6 years.
5. Best battery life -Mkbhd on smartphone awards 2019. Also outlasts the note10
That's it. No gimmicks. Just a phone that nails all the basics
------------
PS: I'm okay about the display.
2 reasons
The apps aren't even that diffrent
The 865 is faster but geekbench is optimized for iOS.
Exactly.
So youre saying you want to use a lcd 828p display in 2025??
@Josh 3204 It doesn't Match the A13 bruh

At my age device longevity, lifetime warranties, and the like are not something I am concerned about.

lol the galaxy 8 still beats iphone 11 on screen design
Very true
I read comments for 10 minutes and couldn't find a single one that prefers the 11 over the s20. The 11 pro doesn't measure up either.
3 things I can do with my s20 that i've never been able to do with any iphone(12 year user):
1-Ability to watch videos regardless of format effortlessly
2-Ability to film while using my bluetooth earbuds as mics(awesome)
3-With the latest update, UI 2.5, many features released with the Note20 are now available to s20 users(and soon, other galaxy models as well).

Great job, but which camera has a less fishbowl look for selfies?
