I really appreciate your review since it's very real seeing your everyday riding conditions! I'm just about to purchase this bike and your review has inspired confidence in my choice.
Nice review, thanks. Wanted to see what someone thought about it after I purchased one 4 months ago. Couple of comments: I also swapped the pedals for a metal set but that was only because I couldn't connect a set of toe cages. Cages are definitely worth looking into in case you still have slippage issues. Secondly, I moved to this 2x9 gear setup from a 3x8 and whilst it's fine most of the time, I'm no longer able to move up or down a whole set without also having to change a gear or two... as you might expect, there are bigger variations between the sets which I had not considered. For that reason, I would love to go back to 3x8, but there you go, that's life. Greetings from Newcastle, UK.
I have the 2021 Trek fx3 (with a 2x9) and it’s an incredibly good bike. I genuinely think it’s the best bike you can buy for the money. The only thing I can criticise is the seat, which could be comfortable. That’s it. It’s a fantastic bike.
Great review. Personally I just booked the FX2 - I understand some of the components of FX3 2021 version have been updated onto FX2 and there is some price bump as well. I wish you a safe and joyous riding for years to come.
Are you saying you just ordered one now? What is the ETA? I ordered an fx-3 last April, and the shop never received one until mid Dec. Being that close to Christmas, I had to pass it over. In Mid Jan. I tried finding another one but had zero luck. I did, however find a fx-2 & a fx-4. I went with the fx-4 but was told by the shop that they weren't expecting anymore this year. I hope you get it soon, and I'm sure you'll love it. Here in Canada, the fx line of bikes are hard to come by.
This was a great review for me. I was in a dilemma about FX Disc vs. FX Dual Sport. I think the point about the suspension was what I was missing in all other reviews.
Nice review, would agree with you in all respects re cleaning - commuting in London UK with my 2021 FX3 One fault I have found is the ISOzone grips - they degrade and become very sticky! Has anyone else come across this?
This is an excellent review as I am torn between my Trek Marlin 5, which I love, and choosing this bike. The only difference is speed, comfort and weight of the FX. But, I may choose to add a more traditional road bike. Thank you.
Great video! I am buying this bike for my wife. She had an older fx 1 or 2 i cant remember but it got stolen 3 years ago. Both she and I are excited to se the FX3
Nice review.. I took Trek fx3 2024 model few months back.. did couple of 100km rides in the week end.. really liked this bike.. Have you done any longer rides ? What’s your feedback about this bike for 100km to 200km rides ?
I would go to at least 37 or 38 tires if riding this bike on an unimproved path. I have this model and a similar Norco and they occasionally are ridden on unimproved trails/paths, and those tires do reasonably well on them.
Great review Which cycle would you recommend for gravel path My daily ride is daily 25 kms . Age 63 Almost 19 kms per hour Presently using btwin Hybrid Riverside 120 Thanks in advance
..and the 2022 TREK FX 2 has been upgraded to this bikes standards!! So,..it ..the 2022 TREK FX 2!! .is a fine bike for the price improve with a reliable Aluminum Front Fork to go with the Gold Aluminum Frame! In which i feel is more durable in the long run than a Carbon Fiber + not much difference in weight. Ride like he suggested here and one won’t notice much difference on bumpy surfaces between the two bikes! So check out the TREK FX2 before you throw down a bit more money for minor changes! FX 3 is Cool😎don’t get me wrong,..it’s a fine one too but just merely more expensive for what?..a Carbon Fork!?🤨..but that commented,..just get what you like but for me it’s the 2022 FX 2 XL‼️ in TREK’s “QuickSilver” !! b(‘ _
I have owned two trek hybrids with aluminum forks. If you are riding on poorly paved roads I highly recommend carbon fork. It was well worth the small price increase. I cant wait to get my 2022 fx 3! Never picking an aluminum fork ever again Gotta be steel or carbon forks me.
Hey Nishith, thanks for the good review. I usually ride a Trek Fuel EX 8. However, I can't get my son on it here. So I was looking for a bike that I could use for the city and also for commuting. Gravel would be nice but doesn't really matter. For that I would take the Fuel Ex again. What I totally understand is your point of view on the fork. I have now ordered an FX3 Disc EQ. I'm curious how the narrow tires will do when I have a child seat on the luggage rack. (I would definitely prefer the bike naked, but I need the luggage rack.) Is there anything you noticed that you have to look out for when using the bike that you shouldn't overlook? Especially when I want to carry bags on the fork, maybe for bike packing? Many greetings from Germany
This man is riding in traffic. In India! Him and the camera person. Like, this is the person whose reviews are relevant to me. 😁👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
It's Delhi ;) Try the same in Chennai and we may never get to see the video!
Love my FX-3 disc, which I got in June 2020, a pandemic gift to myself.

I love this in depth detail. I ordered my FX 3 this past Thursday. Looking forward to riding now.
Love to see real users review, thank you 🙏
I have the 2023 fx3 disk stagger and finished the 25 mile hotter n hell ride in Wichita falls TX. The bike preformed amazing.

Greetings from the UK brother, excellent review! Stay safe & well, Rab Rakha.

Thanks for the longer term review, i'm looking at the 2023 model with the single front chainring. It looks like the best value in that price bracket.
Glad it was helpful!
This is one of the best reviews Ihave ever seen - of anything 🤣
Excellent review. There's a local store that has these in stock. Thank you!
Really nice review content. Love your videos and sound
Good review! I have the Trek fx2, and I am thinking about getting the fx3 because of the carbon fiber fork.
What a great video! I love my FX 3.
Super review! Thanks and well done!
Watching you cycling in that traffic makes me nervous :) Nice review, thank you. I have the same bike and enjoy it too.

If your choosing between thoes two then get a dual sport. Faster on road and has front suspension 60mm.
Nice review, agree with you !
Can you link to the accessories especially the display you got please?
It was very helpful.
Thanks!
Nice video. Happy riding 👍
Fx3 or giant escape is better?
Can you fit a 42mm tire in front and a 40mm at the back, in this bike?
this model allows a maximum of 38, and the wheel would be quite tight
Which size u got
Great review! Thank you
What size is it?
Great video....but...any chance you have an Amazon link for that cleaning brush that is used to color hair?
Genuine and fair review.
What's the riding position like for long-distance riding, comfortable enough or leaning too far forward?
Please suggest me a good road bike with Shimano 105 group set

Good review. I have the 2022 model and also love it.
Do you find the single front chainring restrictive at all? Can you get to high speeds? thanks
@@ml5444 no issues at all. Can go very fast
Mine still has a 2X drive train. Wish I had the 1x. I’ve never used the small one except for accidentally shifting down lol
Great video!
thank you
Did u consider to use wider tires
I just got mine. Its a great bike. Too bad my shop only have the new two tone color. I prefer one color for the whole bike.
Excellent review friend
I love riding my bike. I think it good exercise cardio. I like you and your video. You seem nice. You accent I would say your in india
music isn't loud enough
32c tyres works well on gravel path. I use 25c ralson tyres which is also working fine on off roads.
I would go to at least 37 or 38 tires if riding this bike on an unimproved path. I have this model and a similar Norco and they occasionally are ridden on unimproved trails/paths, and those tires do reasonably well on them.
sir, very nice review.

Gotta be steel or carbon forks me.
On my RC Triban my avg speed is 23 kmhr......but this one looks so pretty
this would be out of budget for me.....the disc brakes attract me the most.
Thank you sir
60km/hr?😳
The FX3 is a single chain ring, 10 speed.
FX3 with single chainring and 10 speeds = model 2022.
The one in the video is an FX3 model 2021.
