I’ve just passed 30,000kms on mine. It’s my daily commute. I keep it clean and get comments all the time from people wondering how old it is and if I’ve restored it! Sure it’s not fast, but you really know you’re riding a bike with character. Love it! Keep up the great reviews.
What is the best time speed to commute with it? I live in Europe and would like to get the 650 however for half of the price I can the 535 but I am not sure performance wise. I got the feeling it is like driving a 125cc … but this is a just feeling from what I read. Can you drive around 120km/h constantly ?
@@dunno1128 nah dont buy the 535 its very slow and wobbles like death at high speed. if you got an emotional attachment with it then go buy it, but i wouldnt recommend it for daily use or practicality, and the 650 is miles better and so much worth it
Fuzzy! I bought this bike! You were up there the day I was trying it out. I was torn between this 535 and a new GT650, but it was definitely love at first site with this thing and I am so glad I chose it! I absolutely dig this bike, each day I go ride it I fall in love a little more. Plus it just looks so amazing on its center stand in my garage. Its going to be a long winter :( Keep up the great work and I am sure I will see you again, as RE motorcycles have become my new obsession.
Great to hear you're liking that bike. That's one of my favorite ones to ride, pure riding Joy. I've got bitten by the Royal Enfield bug bad myself. PS I ride all winter long. WAHOO
THE best thing about this bike? The frame was designed and refined by the legendary frame designers, HARRIS PERFORMANCE. (Cambridge, England.) Perhaps the engine has only a modest power output, but the chassis was conceived by one of the best in the business.
I've got one with aftermarket cams valves carb etc. It handles but the suspension is fairly crude. It's overgeared so top speed is nothing special but it holds 80 for tens of miles and is quick to rev
my dad just bought one for me and it doest start currently, it hows over but im not sure what it is, i havnt checked the fuses or the battery yet, and im not even sure if theres spark so im going to test that but if i don’t get it then we might sell it
What is the gear that you used to record this video? No wind sound at all, that is cool. Also, I am planning to by this bike or the 650, not sure yet...
Do you face starting problem in the morning Like take too much time to start and have to use kick . Can't start by self because engine is cold but after a start then easily start it by self
My gt 535 has this annoying ticking sound from the engine and that ticking gets a little louder when riding.... Does your bike also have that sound?? Is that normal??
Have test drove a few of these bikes and have not noticed the tick. I would take it to a dealer or good motorcycle mechanic and find out what's going on. It may be something simple, you never know. Good luck!

I've rode a few of the 535's and love the feel of the bike. Beautiful machines! Thank you :)
to me it's still my dream bike sad that they don't manufacture them anymore
@@hriatpuia2825 buy a used one dude its very cheap

There's something about the shorter wheel base, and the large tank that make it so attractive
Love these motorcycles. Wahoo!

I own both the 650 and the 535 ,definitely fancy the 535 more it has a charm of its own and that old school slow thumping torque amazes me always!
535 gets much better MPG
How much did you pay for it?
The 535 is the most beautiful and charismatic bike ever made by Royal Enfield
Totally agree!
I have too this beast.....love it's character so much . My daily driving machine ....I love my Continental GT 535cc.
These are great motorcycles. I love them!
I've had mine for 7 years & 15,000 miles, still enjoy it.
They are wonderful motorcycles. Wahoo!

Possibly one of RE's best handling motorcycles. Wahoo!
Beautiful bike and I was sorely tempted but sadly they didn't make them for long and the 650 twin followed on and stole its thunder.
Thinking you're right about that. Both bikes are great.
I believe thats a Hitchcock exhaust...same as the one i have on my Bullet. 👍
Nice!

Nice bike to take a ride down thru Neola on.
You got that right!
I'm dreaming on buying a used one and modify it into a scrambler. What's your thought on it?
These are fabulous handling bikes. Have never thought about one as a Scrambler. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles people have done it and some have done it real good. If you can afford one then go for it you won't regret.

Both are great bikes :-) GoPro 11 with a sock over it. Very low tech LOL
I have one in yellow 2016 ..such a good riding machine...love it
One of the best handling & fun motorcycles out there. Wahoo!

I really don't know the answer to that. I've driven this particular motorcycle once. Seems like a very good motorcycle.
Can you tag the owner profile?

That pipe is not stock
It could be. next time I'm around one of these beauties, I'll check. Wahoo!

I would definitely use choke if it has it when it's cold out.
