So I just stained mine with oil. Luckily I was home so I immediately applied dish soap, scrapped lightly with my finger (no nail) and rinsed with water. After hanging up to dry, the case came out perfectly clean and looking brand new. Not only the stain is gone, but the texture and fabric didn’t change at all. I’m actually shocked
Based on experience, fine woven is good for sweaty palm. Two weeks in and yes there’s some minor discoloration, but it is actually easier to clean than the previous apple leather (even using leather conditioner), with soft bristle toothbrush + dishwashing soap and case looks great again. I don’t mind cleaning it twice a month tbh. I didn’t expect that I will prefer the fine woven over leather (for now). Time will tell
I just checked those cases rather extensively in Apple Store. I like Apple leather cases mostly for being thin and light but providing grip so that iPhone does not slip from my hand and stays safe on for example marble window sill. I liked the new FineWoven material texture. It feels premium to me and matching the premium feel of an iPhone Pro without adding much bulkiness. The sides are made of similar material but covered in resin and they feel very nice. The case is super light but sturdy and provides nice feel and grip. Especially good is the magnet attachment of the Apple MagSafe Wallet compared to leather. On the other hand I tried the silicon and as much as I agree that the colors of silicon cases are nice it feels slippery to me and bulky and absolutely not premium. I was wondering about color combination for the Natural Titanium between the green and brown (Taupe) and I decided that light brown looks the best. The green has slightly less Earthly color. It is more on blue than yellow side of spectrum for green. On the other hand the light brown looks like a desert rock. For me the definition of a thin and grippy case is how easily and safe can I pull iPhone from my pocket with just one hand, rotate it to horizontal, take a picture and put it back. Those cases pass my test. The Taupe FineWoven case with matching MagSafe Wallet on Natural Titanium 15 Pro looks so nice to me.
Yeah I have the taupe and pacific blue fine woven,I also have natural titanium, they hold up really well. Actually, I don’t have any complaints about them at all, my wife also has the natural titanium and went with the green and purple.
The problem with the color of natural titanium is that there is a rather limited choice of color of covers. Brown case is very difficult to combine with clothes and looks too ordinary. As well as blue titanium, which is best combined only with different shades of blue or transparent. The black titanium color in this regard is much more versatile!
I went in store to see and feel these in person. They were absolute garbage. No way they are worth their price tag. Also, there are environmentally conscious ways of still using leather.
Unfortunately, you don't really have an alternative to apple cases and wallets. they fit perfetcly (best fit on the market), you have this kind of animation, when you put it on (where else do you have this?) and the Wallet has "Find my" included. I think I would go with an iPhone 15 Pro (512GB) natural titanium and a finewoven case + Wallet in taupe.
I have the taupe and pacific blue fine woven,I actually prefer the blue, and my wife also has a natural titanium 15 pro max and the green looks great as well.
The last time the leather cases were actually good, was with the iPhone 11 series; they were trash after that. I’m actually liking my Taupe FineWoven… been using it, since launch, and it still looks like new!

I love the finewovern!

At the end of the day, I would still prefer official or third party leather case though

Me and my wife each have two of the fine loving cases coming from the former leather. We haven’t had one issue with them. They hold up just fine.
They aren’t “absolute garbage” - they are recycled garbage 😉
I would just buy a regular case thats cheaper for $60 bucks its a little out of my price range.👍
You can buy $1000 plus phone and can’t afford a $60 case…..
Slipperiest case ever. Thats really the only issue. The scratchy thing isnt a big deal.
The first comment, nice
Finewoven = plastic 👎🏼! So simple!

I’ve had no issues with my 14pro leather cases
theyre terrible.
Apple cut off a piece of a cheap Toyota car seat and stuck it on a phone case but charged everyone a Mercedes price.
😂
I wish iPhone 15 😢😭😍
A toothbrush for ur finewoven accessories will go a long way! Just gently (not wildly) brush ur case everyday to keep it fresh and new like!
And yes, you can wash them underwater I’ve done it multiple times they just dry and look perfectly normal
The fine woven cases look so ugly to me, and they hold up terribly. They don’t look premium at all
As an owner of four fine woven cases you definitely do not own one of them
The leather is far better than fine woven! Looks like very cheap quality! But it’s pricey 😏
Actually, I had two leather cases for my 14 Pro, and two fine woven cases for my 15 Pro Max, I prefer the fine woven
They look SOOO cheap, nothing like the og leather brown cases, apple is really messing it up
They hold up just as good as the leather cases and feel better. We have 4 fine woven cases they’re great
@@josephpepe2607 hey, do they still hold up well?
