A major thing people should keep in mind: The cases have a 1-year limited warranty via Apple. My silicone case started to chip and peel and I recently got it replaced at Apple with a new one for free.
I did not know this. I would’ve swapped my leather case for my 14Pm
I don’t know this! I have a case with a chip in it I was big mad about it. I am going to take it in thank you!
My local apple said ‘normal wear and tear’ and refused.
Great point!
Wow I never knew this, thanks for letting us know! Do you have to pay for shipping?
I have both but prefer the woven case as it’s much lighter and fits snugger than the silicon case. I have the black one and it’s wearing on the edges but not scratched up.Has indents slightly where I charge with MagSafe and when home using a MagSafe pop socket holder. It’s summer here in Australia and very hot so I think the woven is cooler to touch and also for heat displacement. Initially I didn’t like the feel of the woven case and I have other brand leather cases but seem to keep going Bach to woven. If dirty ,soapy water makes it look like new again.
Great info
Thanks for making the cable fit test. I owned an iPhone 15 and a leather case from mujjo. Only the original apple usbc cable (60W) fits. So I sent the mujjo case back.
I value this channel for clear presentation of design tradeoffs-nothing is infinitely adaptable. Such is the case here. The silicone and fine woven material make different tradeoffs. I’m not sure which will serve me best, but I definitely have something to go on now.
Thanks, I’m really glad it was helpful.
Great review. My FineWoven case feels great in the hand- I just don't think it ages as gracefully as the clear or silicone cases. Thanks for the very clear, non-drama filled comparison!
Right? Drama and inflammatory rhetoric does not make for a clear eyed choice. Thank you making the point.
The silicone cases don’t age at all. They’re silicon. But they do chip.
Yeah, the fine woven case is best. It has served me well.
No sound from my finewowen case exept when I press them. I did however have to expand the usb-c cutout so that my usb-c data cable would fit.
Hey great video..
Let me know if stains stay on the silicon or it can be wiped off?
Were can l get the wallpaper
Ive had both i actually prefer the woven its lighter and feels good in the hands got the wallet to match so far no problems
Nice!
I LOVE MY BLUE AND GREEN FINEWOVEN CASE AND WALLET FOR MY iPhone 15 Pro Max ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I prefer the fine woven by far I have 2 of them they’re great for me. I have taupe and pacific blue for my natural titanium 15 promax.
Nice, I like to use both but prefer the silicone.
My silicone case on my 13 pro max started peeling around the edges which forced me to go looking for another case. Apple did not have any for my phone so I went to Amazon and settled on a clear metal mag safe case which is doing fine so far. I think people are far too picky about these fine woven cases. I have a fine woven mag safe wallet which is fine.
where can we find the wallpaper?
I just got the fine woven case, employee told me to be super cautious about scratching the back. Was a little concerned on how long it’ll last me without any damage. But other than that really nice pleasant case to have in hand! Hoping I’ll keep it in somewhat good condition 😭
I’ve had mine for months,it’s holding up fine
Got my black one for 5-6 month and washed it 2 times with Washing-up liquid. All fine looks pretty good , no scratches. One side where I hold my iPhone gets slightly lighter but really nothing dramatic.
One thing u really dislike is how slippery it is 😓
I still trust the silicone cases. Since the iPhone 6s plus, it protected my phone a lot. The rubbery texture is like a shock absorber and it just bounces when I drop my phone.
Me too! I have a silicone for my 15 plus. However when I had a Smart Battery Case for my Xs Max years ago, several chips to a point where it left a huge chunk from wear and tear in my pocket
Great video, random question - can you use an iPhone 14 Plus case on the iPhone 15 plus? A great review & the woven case is like marmite for you either love it or hate it 👍
I have the guava silicone case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max 😊
You like it?
@@JerrySchulze yes every year I get the silicone case it’s my fav 😍😍
Dang I wish they had them available for the 14 😢
I don't like cases. But i have to use a case for protection, as I let my nephew watch kids youtube on my iPhone. And my iPhone is prone to dropping when he is using it.
How did you remove your iphone from the finewoven case Jerry ? any tips you can share ? Mine is stuck and I can't remove it, any tutorial video would be much appreciated as I don't want to bend the iphone if I push to hard or cracking the glass
Press your hand on camera area n pull out case from same side
I love my 15PM in natural Ti sporting the Orange Sorbet Apple silicone csse!
I actually have two fine woven cases, and I hate the silicone, but I was going to get one just for that color alone 😂
Are you using a screen protector with your silicone case? I get a LOT of lint on my case from pockets and on the sides of the screen protector. The silicone attracts a LOT of dust :(.
The fine woven is WAY better
Sir the finewoven case made no friction while moving to phone from the pocket please reply
Hi. I don’t know what you mean.
Shake a Galaxy S24/S23 Ultra with or without case and you’ll here some maracas inside the camera module
lol
Gotta be honest, these look way better 3 months later than the reviews said they would on launch day. I still wish Apple would bring back leather, but the oils from your hands seem to darken a lot of the scratches. The Pacific Blue looks more Navy now.
what about the dust and lint in the silicon case ? how did it hold up so far ?
In the case? Ya, you need to take it off now and then and clean it out.
@@JerrySchulze thanks mate, is it possible to wash it with water too?
Have both for my 15PM and voven feels and looks way more premium.
Can you please tell me whether white silicone cases get dirty easily?
Sorry, I have never purchased one so I can’t speak to that.
Spannend.
The only people who had issues when these cases when launched were UA-camrs who always have to have issues to make content. Three months later…. All good.
I don’t have the rattling problem on the finewoven cases
Interesting
Me either and I have two of them
well, son of a gun.
My Taupe case had the rattling problem from the start, while the Mulberry one doesn't.
Silicon al day long!
I don’t see a big deal about the buttons. Who is actually listening for the loose button noise?
Anyone who pays $60 for a case.
@@JerrySchulzeno
yes of course you can buy plastic case for 60$ but for 5$ more you can buy a high quality leather case from mujjo Ryan london and many more
Finewoven is discontinued
We buy cases to protect our phones. I dont care how the case looks after use so long as my phone is protected from potential butter fingers. 😂
My Otterbox pop socket case is just fine
I appreciate the reviews but I opt for less expensive cases for my iPhone.
You can afford $1000 phone but not a $50 case 😂😂😂
@@josephpepe2607 That's why I can't afford the case 🤣🤣🤣
Always love the apple silicon cases. The fine woven case is a fail for me , what a terrible replacement for the leather cases which were just lovely.
It’s definitely not. They’re actually great cases I have 3 and love em
Always found Apple cases pop off easy on the bottom corners. Never had that problem with any other case manufactures over the years.
I’ve literally never once had that problem 😂
I’d rather apple do a ‘vegan’ leather instead of this micro fibre. I didn’t even realize they stopped the leather cases since I got a leather case for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. But man. I’m glad they still had leather cases for that . They just feel so good. I’m sure they could do a good vegan leather (save on materials) but the microfibre seems like a garbage material to use. 😅
For me….just leather works….srry for apple….I had to buy a new leather case from a third party.
Just buy a third party case. Otterbox, Spigen, UAG, Mous…etc
I don’t know what is so special about these Apple cases. They have many negatives, one big negative is the price. Too expensive!
I thought that too but the Apple ones feel so much better imo. I went to Best Buy and a lot of the third party cases felt cheap, but they were half the price tho
The price 😂😂😂😂 otterbox and mouse cases are literally more expensive. So you can afford $1000 phone and not a $50 case.
Apple silicon cases are made of the worst quality in the market
Ok….
