@@djtdjt8921 That's just a content blocker. Tor distributes, and encrypts your data in a way that makes it harder to track, but not impossible. Content blockers do block some tracking from advertisers, social media, and websites, if configured properly, but it doesn't stop the gov, and your internet provider from tracking you like Tor. With proper use of Tor they can't tell the difference between you and the other millions of people who use Tor. Tor obscures your location, makes your data unable to be read by third parties, and removes unique identifiers.
The Linux distro "Parrot Security" makes it easy to wrap 100% of your networking into the Tor network. And you can toggle that option "on" and "off". When off, it works like a normal operating system, using your normal networking. It is a great solution for having a normal Linux experience, while easily being able to flip a switch to make everything (not just your browser) Tor bound. Cheers!

Excellent video and very well articulated as well. I think something to note with Safari, and Apple devices, is that in addition to WebKit, the XNU kernel itself is open source. This may help provide some additional details as to how the browser, and macOS (for example) function. Of course, this doesn't get anywhere near the level of openness that's seen with Linux, or BSD, but I bring it up, as I don't see a lot of discussions surrounding XNU.
• Firefox has been using some not-very-good defaults as of late, but at least they still provide the options to change them… for now. (I can't find a way to change some things that Panopticlick says are fingerprintable. 🤔) • I like the timestamp labels in the video description. Very clever. 😀 • Unfortunately, if you harden a browser and configure it just the way you like too much, sites start to break, and by the time you notice problems, you'll have made a lot of changes and not be able to figure out exactly which one(s) broke sites. 😕 • I'll have to check your video library to see if you've discussed must-have addons and extensions.

on arch linux i have firefox and vivaldi , firefox addons are ublock origin , https everywhere with encrypt all sites on , privacy badger , user agent switcher and firefox container ; for vivaldi the same but without firefox container , on windows 7 i have comodo dragon and firefox with the same addons plus tor browser on both linux and and windows 7

@@1984-f7q Bromite is recommended by countless sources such as The Hated one, and even the GrapheneOS dev, who knows ALOT about privacy. Brave also had a scandal recently however bromite is clean.

@@richtofen4888 UA-cam has been successfully doing that lately, I've been having glitches too. It requires disabling and re-abling your adblocker extensions.
Turn off cross-stite tracking feature on brave off, use UBlock Origin instead, you don't need to disable the entire Brave shield, just disable the cross-stite tracking feature off in settings, also add doubleclick.net ( the site which google uses to deliver adds ) to the list of blocked domains in Ublock origin, that will work.

Sorry to disappoint you. Opera vpn is slow and has DNS leaks. I preferred proxy sites over VPN. Opera is questionable in more situation, if there are no probs then there is no need in creating Vivaldi. I myself an Opera's fanboy switched over to Firefox for this contradiction.

A MAC address is a physical identifier on your device. Has nothing to do with websites (they cannot access this info). MAC address is shared with your WiFi network you connect to and a browser will do nothing when it comes to spoofing it

Is KVM easier to use than Qubes in your opinion? I've been debating between a KVM Whonix combination or a Qubes Whonix combination.

Waterfox uses the Gecko engine but is more secure out the box than Firefox.

Go to settings and scroll to controls . You should be able see Background Video Playback. Turn that on. I hope it works.

Do you have script blocking on? Because many sites use javascript, blocking scripts will cause the sites to not work properly.
On the next update, would also like you to comment on Dissenter (made by Gab).
