My heart breaks whenever a soldier dies whether during combat or worse, a suicide. We must do more to support them and recover from posttraumatic stress disorder. Bless our fallen warriors this memorial day. I will share this video with others to help raise awareness of those who suffer from the stress of military service.

Serving two tours in Afghanistan and losing eight brother's takes a lot out of you i was in the same boat as Scott and yeah it's hard to come back from down that path but if you look at yourself and reach out you can get out this is a good motivator for all those who want to help but don't know how, I have a lot of respect for the US DF they take a lot of hits but they push on and try to come home, 2nd Lt Sharp Hauraki Division NZDF signing off .

Some of the best acting I've seen. Hard to believe this wasn't real, though it's real in daily life for marines. Watching it can make all the difference in awareness and empathy. This needs to be spread. Much respect to all USMC fighting for us, fighting back home for their lives with us, for those who fell, and for those still going to fight. Thank you.

As a Marine that served from 86 till 94 this film gave me alot to think about. I loved that they looked out for and stood by their Marine brother when he was dealing with some bad shit. Semper Fi Marines.

  • @johnlothrop5568
    @johnlothrop5568 6 років тому +10

Outstanding. I've been out since '83. Been to some dark places. I have relied on my Marine Corps training to save my ass. Been on the brink myself....One thing that pulls me through...no matter how tough it gets .....in the end Marines ALWAYS prevail. It's weird but the older you get the more of the Marine comes out. ...Never leave a Marine behind applies when you leave active duty also. We are Marines until we die. Where I live we constantly check on each other.
Semper Fi brothers. We're proud of you and what you have done in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I saw it with my father as I grew up years after he'd returned home from serving in the Navy.

I'm not in the military, never served...wish I would've....but suffer from depression and alcoholism. Ruined my body, chronic pancreatitis...chronic pain...had the infamous delirium tremens episode one night...
It's tough, man, so I feel for those who have it. I never did anything as great as our military members...it feels like I am overplaying it compared to what these soldiers saw...did. feels like I'm being a bitch compared to what our military members saw....did. my father makes me feel like a bitch. I only lost a friend, among other things related to family issues, to an overdose, where if I was there for him, he could be alive today. Those with depression always think "what if I would've done this or that different."
All I can say, is that it's not fun.
      God bless our military! 🇺🇲

Hi, uha it's just so interesting how I feel. Have been a Marine for over 50yrs Veteran now , and I'am still sensitive about ' Never leave a Marine behind '. To Wivies, Sons / Daughters, and Families this has always been Spiritual and no one can change that. Again this spiritual, Christ Jesus never wanted any of His desciplies life behind neigther ; that's why He Prayed so hard in the graden of Ges. You get the picture the❤ for God's People. I think you got-it, Brother / Sister Marines it's deep isn't it. Christ gave His all for everyone, who what you are, what you look like, and what you did. Truly Love, Heart issue for Us. I hope this helped someone 😂 this evening.

Don't forget about the Marines who have not deployed but suffer from head injuries & their families as well.

However that isn’t the what the video conveys. Being combat deployed is often much more traumatic.

Henry Ross That's true, but it doesn't mean it's not a problem. The it's not just about combat Marines, but all Marines. The fact of the matter is, as some studies suggest, is that more veterans who haven't deployed have killed themselves than combat veterans, at least as of 2014/2015. It doesn't steal the thunder from those fuckin warriors that went through the shit. But it does point that there is a problem and something has to be done. Combat Marine or not, we all deserve some fuckin help every now and again.

Wow ! Man, it's an excellent masterpiece.
I wonder how many lives we can save, if there's someone who really cares about them.
I'm from India, I'm enthusiastic about army, thanks to Hollywood and other creaters who have made such quality content available.
    Our movie industry sucks !
