  • Here is a quick and easy recipe for use with fresh halibut.
    See ingredients below,
    Fresh Halibut Ceviche
    Ingredients:
1lbs Fresh Halibut, diced into pieces
½ Cup of Fresh Lime Juice
3 Tablespoons of Fresh Lemon Juice
1 large Mango peeled, seeded and sliced
1 large Avocado peeled, seeded, and diced
½ a small Red Onion thinly sliced
    ½ bunch of Cilantro chopped
    Salt to taste
    Tortilla chips
    Instructions:
In a glass bowl, stir together the halibut, lime juice, and lemon juice.
Cover your bowl and marinate in the fridge for 30-45 minutes to ‘cook.’
If you prefer your fish a little more done you could leave it in the fridge for 1 hour. 2 hours will make your fish well done and a little tougher.
Next chop your mango, avocado, red onion, and cilantro.
Remove your halibut from the fridge (do not drain)
Gently stir in your mango, avocado, red onion, cilantro, and salt.
Serve individually in glasses, or on a plate with tortilla chips.
    Enjoy!

Hey everyone, I see a lot of comments about the halibut being raw. I just wanted to let you all know the acid from the lemon and lime cooks the fish 😉
