Just did my 10 team full point PPR superflex draft. Was pick #7 and had Josh Allen and Joe Burrow fall to me in the 1st/2nd round. Paired them with Olave and Amon-Ra St Brown (keeper 4th round). Punted on RB and ended with Pierce and James Cook. Wish me luck.

This is extremely helpful to me and thanks so much to you for putting it out for us. This content is getting exponentially better year after year. Please keep up the great work. And thanks again!!
Remember reading a RW mock draft from way back and Shawn took diggs AND thielen when they were in Minnesota. Silva wrote the commentary and was very high on the move. Implemented in my home league, everyone laughed at me, I was laughing by week 2 and laughed last. Good to see him on the pod. Cheers.
@@zachsmith518 I think week 1 projections are super inflated for skill players, a month into the season i will be happy with 2 top 8 QBs. ESPN is so bad with 2 QB rankings it’s the same as a standard league lol, I was hoping for the same as you
in best ball you can have a bench wr go off and outscore your qb in the superflex in redraft these bench superstars don't count you need a second qb and even a third there will be 24 qb' s gone by the end of round 7 the 20th qb will outscore the 20th wr or rb by 5 points a game consistently must have a second qb by round 6 or you better get very lucky with ridder, mac jones, garapolo, or howell and mayfield and you can count on a trade offer on your 3rd qb almost every week and i'll bet the leagues where shawn has ridder and howell as his starters aren't regular redraft
last year i got Hurts at 1.9, Burrow at 2.4, and Fields fell in my lap in round 5 or 6. i scooped him up with the intent of trading him after a couple boom weeks. ended up getting Barkley for Burrow after bye weeks and finished 2nd.

@@modogg42 my superflex also gives 6 points to a QB or any position for a TD. Does that make it best to go with Allen or Hurts at second overall over Jefferson? Are you more confident there will be high end receivers or higher end QBs still available at the bottom of round 2?
@@ryanwalker9842 i think a lot depends on your leaguemates. if this is the first run, it is hard to tell, but i would def. grab Hurts there at that spot. We switched our league to an auction league so it is different with drafting. but QBs def go premium

Yeah, ETR should probably skip the SF content. It's pretty clear they don't have a good grasp on it. Hell, Levitan doesn't even understand how popular SF is amongst diehard season-long redraft and dynasty players.
As the person who was talking about Cousins...this is not what standard scoring numbers show. He was QB8 overall last year, and he was QB12 on a point per game basis. He has never been a top-five quarterback in PPG, which is what you should be focused on, since simply playing a game more than another quarterback can skew results.

I've got a podcast where we stream quarterbacks each week and track our progress. We consistently outperform pocket passers like Cousins on a PPG basis. It's just how scoring works in fantasy. Playing 17 games instead of 16 games at quarterback is not enough to say "Hey, get this guy instead" when injuries can be unpredictable and you can replace that quarterback in the single game he's out.

if richardson plays whole season as starter he is going to lead NFL in interceptions. His legs are great and will give u spike weeks but the amount of multi pick games he will have is goin to be rough. I'm out on him this year and see what he looks like by end of season for next year. He needs to still fix his spiral on his ball and not just launch bombs just using power but no accuracy.

Had the swing pick in a 12 man superflex, I took fields and Lawrence at the turn, I liked it at the time but the projections certainly don’t lol
First year a home league is doing superflex and I got Mahomes/Allen at swing. FantasyPros rated me a F 😂

It really depends on your scoring like Sean said. I’m in a super flex league that gives 6 points for all TDs so QBs are at a big advantage
