Top notch video. The fact that Capcom celebrated Dead Rising's 10th anniversary by porting it to newer systems and PC is something that I really respect. It's not just a way to keep the franchise up-to-date, but it's also a very kind gesture to the fanbase that time and time again came back for more Dead Rising games. Hopefully any future installments in the series will be more akin to the beloved original.
STiP0 I have to give you major kudos for the fact that any other UA-cam channel dedicated to a single game or franchise is often bloated and padded with opinion videos, click bait news articles and unsubstantiated "leaks." You have always put out interesting, insightful, entertaining and informative content. It is even more impressive because you focus on a game that released years earlier. Rather than upcoming sequels, remakes or spin-offs. You are like a classic historical explorer. Charting the history of this beloved franchise. And your adoration for the game is so apparent. I remember how excited I was when this game was unveiled for the first time and just how amazing it was to play, being the first game of its kind to pull off such an expansive and interactive vision of a zombie outbreak. Your infectious enthusiasm is contagious and I can almost remember "my first time" with the game, when watching your videos. So thank you, as a fellow fan and as someone who really appreciates the quality and care that you have dedicated to keeping Dead Rising alive. Thank you! (Do you pronounce it Sty-Poh, or S-tip-oh?)
2005-2006: Masterpiece vs Masterpiece (A.K.A Resident Evil 4 vs Dead Rising) 2009-2010: Good Sequel vs Good Sequel (A.K.A Resident Evil 5 vs Dead Rising 2) 2012-2013: Decent vs Decent (A.K.A Resident Evil 6 vs Dead Rising 3) 2016-2017: Disappointment vs Disappointment (A.K.A Resident Evil 7 vs Dead Rising 4)
still remember my brother and i saw dawn of the dead on the lower left side from the box we had no idea why capcom put it there until 2009 before zombies became a huge thing again i never get tired playing dead rising very fun game lets hope in the future dead rising 5 doesnt bring back frank please no
Master Vidxad 58 Holy shit, i knew i wasn't the only one to play it! Man, i miss the year when Lost Planet and Dead Rising were released. Those were sweet times.
I knew most of this information thanks to the GhenryPerez's videos talking about the Dead Rising Franchise, but you did a great video again. I can't believe all the things that the game had to passed, like the legal problems about the similarities with the Dawn Of The Dead Movie or the possibility to be cancelled.
One of the only channels that I know of that truly sticks to their passion and doesn’t hop on the bandwagon and do what’s trending for views keep up the good work man
duuude, you're almost to 20k! glad to see that so many people love this not well known yet fantastic game, and im also glad to see that you're starting to get more popular.
The original Dead rising will always be my favorite game of all time also my favorite in the DR series. I’ve been obsessed with this game since day one and i can’t believe it’s been a bit over a decade since release. It still hasn’t gotten old and I’m glad people are still head over heals for this game like me. You’ve earned yourself a sub from both of my accounts. Can’t wait for more content man.
Love these video been a fan of you since 2012 thanks for making the best videos and showing dr1 history and cool mods you were and still are my go to for usb mods on 360
I fucking love this game to death. And in 12 years, I still haven't found anything that's made me as happy and excited to play a video game as when I was a high schooler from 2006-2008, spending all my free time playing Dead Rising or talking about it on the GameFAQs board. It's so goddamn good, and I would give anything to recreate that time of my life.
This brings me back to the days where me and my best friend played this games day in and out on my 15" little tube TV. And just having a blast driving through the tunnels trying to get the genocider achievement... We never did. I love this documentation of an industry giant of s zombie game. I can't wait to see what game you cover next, but for now. Keep the gold flowing.
Dead Rising is what got me to buy a 360 originally. Before that I used to religiously watch Darksage1331 gameplay videos until I was able to get a 360 with Dead Rising.
You should do a video on the future of Dead Rising, tell us where you think it’s heading, what you want to see in the future, and what made the franchise so unique.
Wow.. this game is 12 years old Jesus christ. I remember when I was like 8 or 9 getting this for Christmas along with test drive unlimited and my first Xbox. Time flies ):
Beta Frank looks like Killer Klowns from Outer Space. It's interesting to hear they cut some stuff out; in some ways, it seems like an unfinished game, which is weird to say about a borderline masterpiece. For instance it feels like there should've been more post-game content than just "entertain yourself" Infinity mode. Perfect length for the video; didn't bore us with minute details, but gave us everything we needed to know.
You know I've noticed something, in the release version of the game Frank uses the old running animation when you use the walkie talkie, I was able to tell because when you walk while using it the animation is almost identical to the old running animation, also most survivors still use the old animations.
Dead Rising will always be one of my favorite games EVERRRR...... it's a shame that the later sequel couldn't retain the same spark and story this one did
Before this game came out, I was a huge Resident Evil fan and still am today, I had a similar imagination to create such a game as this. Flashback to 2005: I had just finished playing RE 1, 2, 3, and Outbreak 1 & 2. Who doesn’t like the storyline during the Raccoon City outbreak, right? With the hype of ground breaking GTA3 and GTA: San Andreas, this thought crossed my mind. Would if you could explore Raccoon City in a sandbox GTA game? I was thinking there has got to be a way. So with UA-cam launching this same year, I had searched multiple times to see if someone had made a mod of this type. They did make some type of Resident Evil mod with GTA: Vice City and San Andreas, but nothing to my likings. So 2006 comes and BAM! Dead Rising comes into the picture. I thought ok, you won’t get to explore Willamette, but you will get to kill as much zombies in the mall (you’ll explore Willamette later in DR4). I play Dead Rising and fell in love instantly. Everything about the gameplay and it’s atmosphere was just awesome. Present: Why the fuck did I not pitch my idea to fucking Capcom? I could sipping tea in the shade. Lol jk though, I love Dead Riding and I love Resident Evil.
I love Dead Rising with a passion. While I do find it interesting to see what the game could have been I love the game as a whole. No matter what. This game has given me many good memories. Getting to LVL50 felt amazing the first time and getting the mega buster and lazer sword was fantastic.
It seems to have been a trend with capcom not being happy with their game and redoing it all again. It happened a lot with Resident evil games like 2 and 4.
I would have pressure but I would’ve said some kind of news so I can add a bit of ideas. I know they were in pressure at the time but I can relate too. 5:34
They should remake DR1 and maybe 2 too. Maybe them remaking them, it’ll remind them what a DR game needs to be again if they wanted to do more installments.
I think dead rising 3 is probably the darkest zombie game in the franchise because there is darkness when u go in the houses and jump scares by the way this is just my opinion
I appreciate the port to my xbox one, and it looks pretty amazing. I just wish they went and got rid of all the frame dips. For example when hitting zombies do it certain objects makes the game freak out for a few seconds.
Top notch video.

Omg Swegta the Bully channel played Dead Rising too?! Awesome taste my friend! :)

I played this game back in 08 as a teenager, now I’m getting receding hairlines like frank west... this game is fantastic
It still stands in my top 5 all time favourite games.
Great video that can be appreciated by newcomers as well as veterans of the series, my dude.
2005-2006: Masterpiece vs Masterpiece

Im so glad you uploaded again.... I missed you
Great video. Thank you for showing as much love as I have for the first game as well as the whole series. Keep it up
I’ve covers wars in history class you know.
I honestly get more enjoyment out of learning the history of the first game rather than getting a sequel. *sigh* damn you dr4.
Some of the places in Lost Planet look beautiful , MT Framework is really good
STiP0 is exactly 20,000 subscribers. Congrats my man
still remember my brother and i saw dawn of the dead on the lower left side from the box we had no idea why capcom put it there until 2009 before zombies became a huge thing again i never get tired playing dead rising very fun game lets hope in the future dead rising 5 doesnt bring back frank please no
Jonathan Alnas Frank is one of the best characters but ya the guy need a break from killing zombies.
Love the series to death.

Master Vidxad 58 Holy shit, i knew i wasn't the only one to play it! Man, i miss the year when Lost Planet and Dead Rising were released. Those were sweet times.
Master Vidxad 58 Used to play it when I was a kid lol
Captain Blyat same here.
All 3 lost planets are ass.
1 is great, 2 personally I like but not as much as 1, and 3 is ass.
Man Deadrising was such a great game. We need a remake where you can play as Brad and Jesse in 2 player mode. And have access to willimet city.
I knew most of this information thanks to the GhenryPerez's videos talking about the Dead Rising Franchise, but you did a great video again. I can't believe all the things that the game had to passed, like the legal problems about the similarities with the Dawn Of The Dead Movie or the possibility to be cancelled.
I never realized how superhuman he actually was. Crazy.

One of the only channels that I know of that truly sticks to their passion and doesn’t hop on the bandwagon and do what’s trending for views keep up the good work man
I can’t thank you enough for these videos STiP0. You’ve done so much for Dead Rising’s legacy

Nice video, thanks Stipo been subbed for awhile.
I fucking love this game to death. And in 12 years, I still haven't found anything that's made me as happy and excited to play a video game as when I was a high schooler from 2006-2008, spending all my free time playing Dead Rising or talking about it on the GameFAQs board.

Did You Know Gaming feat STiPO
Nice work STiP0 you've always had good content either modding or discussing the beta of dead rising
Thanks for everything
(prays there's a UA-camr as dedicated as you are but for Dead Rising 2) GREAT QUALITY CONTENTS MAN!
Another spectacular video!
This is some of the best content I've seen. Thank you!
This brings me back to the days where me and my best friend played this games day in and out on my 15" little tube TV. Valiant Videos good God I miss them, how two little kids Douglas gotta of entertainment from one game.
super cool vid man, love your vids
Loved the video, everyone I know will probably be annoyed at me recounting all this information to them though, DEAD RISING for life
Dead Rising is what got me to buy a 360 originally. Before that I used to religiously watch Darksage1331 gameplay videos until I was able to get a 360 with Dead Rising.
Capcom vancouver has closed down.
Press F to pay respects.
You should do a video on the future of Dead Rising, tell us where you think it’s heading, what you want to see in the future, and what made the franchise so unique.
Great video man,You always give good insight into these games, any chance of a part 2 or more about dead rising 2,keep up the videos.
Wow.. this game is 12 years old Jesus christ. I remember when I was like 8 or 9 getting this for Christmas along with test drive unlimited and my first Xbox. Time flies ):
I really dig the "Employee of the month" photo
Note to self: play with beta zombies and scary lighting
Ratman was announced in 2006 and it’s still not out... I’ve been hyped for that movie for 12 years, but I don’t think it’s ever gonna come out...
We still need that video on fan videos. Like talking about how dead rising inspired people to make zombir forts ingame
Beta Frank looks like Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Amazing video stip0
When I see STiP0 I drop everything and come running.
The first one is my absolute favourite. I find that the others simply don't have the same charm it does. But that might just be nostalgia.
Dead Rising will always be one of my favorite games EVERRRR...... it's a shame that the later sequel couldn't retain the same spark and story this one did

Really well made video. 🖤
I count Dragon's Dogma as a odd successor to Dead Rising 1. I see so many subtle similarities in these two games.
Great video!
Stipo makes my day
DR was amazing but they really needed to refine it over the years. Maybe the next game...
I love Dead Rising with a passion. While I do find it interesting to see what the game could have been I love the game as a whole. No matter what. This game has given me many good memories. Getting to LVL50 felt amazing the first time and getting the mega buster and lazer sword was fantastic.
absolutely amazing video
I think there’s an update to add now! ;) Excited for the remake
It seems to have been a trend with capcom not being happy with their game and redoing it all again.
It happened a lot with Resident evil games like 2 and 4.
Epic
I would have pressure but I would’ve said some kind of news so I can add a bit of ideas. I know they were in pressure at the time but I can relate too. 5:34
Great vid dude
Oh my god if they used it because of the movie Body Snatchers that would make so much in the sub context of the base game
The video is over already nooooo.
They should remake DR1 and maybe 2 too. Maybe them remaking them, it’ll remind them what a DR game needs to be again if they wanted to do more installments.
Love this vids man, I’m playing dead rising currently on ps4 pro (played it already on a xbox360). Maybe could you do a video on dead rising 5?
Dead rising and left 4 dead 2, two legendary titles that will always have a player base
The best way to start the day. :D
great vid 🤗
Keep up the good work!
Oh how I wish they went back to the 1st and 2nd games formula again
Would love to see the comparision of zombie count for each dead rising game
The Grand Professor of Dead Rising .
I love this game and the series. I actually just started uploading this game on my channel.
STiP0 is secretly Frank West. Change my mind lmao
20K!!!!!! Congrats man! 😃
I'm on a STiPO binge
I just sent Stip0 the link to the story.
- Dude how much do you love this game?
- *I have a UA-cam channel with its content based exclusively on it*
Fun fact: Monster Hunter World uses the MT Framework engine.
I think dead rising 3 is probably the darkest zombie game in the franchise because there is darkness when u go in the houses and jump scares by the way this is just my opinion
Looking forward to Shadow of Rome video someday!
*Dr. BONEDUSTER!*
Awesome video.
I appreciate the port to my xbox one, and it looks pretty amazing. I just wish they went and got rid of all the frame dips. For example when hitting zombies do it certain objects makes the game freak out for a few seconds.
Cool video my guy
Would love to hear Yutaka Haruki's thoughts on the latest dead rising.
nice video bro !
Finally I hear the name Lost planet again
great video
This guy's the reason I bought Dead Rising, I love the game now.
Love your videos!
What’s that outro song though?? :O
