Chef Tom, I love watching your videos! You’re the best BBQ chef, and now this. I’m definitely making this for my family! Thanks for all your good work!
I have searched for years for the best pumpkin pie recipe (I'm not a big fan of traditional pumpkin pie). This year marks the 2nd year I'll be making this. It is hands down the best pumpkin pie you will ever eat. I do add chopped pecans to the streusel. I'm also baking it in the oven. This pie is full of flavor, has a great texture and the whole family absolutely LOVES it. Thanks for ending my search Chef!!
Hey Chef Tom! German here. Are you interested in how you pronounce Streusel the German way? S= Sch like in "Shtick" treu= like "Troy" sel= like "Sel"ection, but with a smooth s Basically= "Schtroysel" Love your vids. Keep 'em coming!
@@allthingsbbq I made it and it's the absolute best pumpkin pie I've ever had! I did add chopped pecans to the streusel. Thanks this will be my go to recipe from now on. Enjoy your holidays?
Here is the full recipe - www.atbbq.com/thesauce/recipes/streusel-pumpkin-pie. Follow the recipe, set your oven to 400 and use the time as a guideline, check as suggested and you will produce an amazing pie. Thank you for watching.

Going to try baking for the first time on the KJ because of this. You the man Chef Tom. 👍
Thanks for the early holiday treat. Happy Holidays from Brooklyn, NY. Cheers.
This recipe has a bit of Chef Brit encompassed in it...an amazing treat no doubt.
A piece of that pie and a good cup of joe would be a nice treat. I'm going to try this one Chef Tom.
I like your thinking!
Yep! I am doing this one in the coming week. Just smoked some pumpkins yesterday! Oh man!
Sounds great!
@@allthingsbbq Chef Tom, made two pies using this recipe! They came out great! I smoked my own pumpkins which added to the flavor!
As if I needed any convincing to make a pumpkin pie… now this is a must!
Can't wait to try this one over the holidays! Amazing as always!
Chef Tom ! Your genius is evident and inspiring !
Thanks for watching!
Wish I would have seen this a few weeks ago but is definitely be the way I make my next pumpkin pie 🎃🥧
Hang on to this recipe, it's a good one! Thanks for watching.
LOVE a good pumpkin pie. This looks fantastic.

Well I'm sold
Yeah, it's that good. Thanks for watching!
I've really never been a fan of pumpkin pie because of the lack of flavor. This is one I'm definitely going to make.

I think a gingersnap crust would be great a well (or maybe 50/50 gingersnap/graham cracker)
Now That's A Pumpkin Pie.
I need to do this in my oven. I see you recommend 400 F for the smoker. Same for oven temp and time?
Same temperature. Thanks for watching and enjoy the Holidays!

Please make a sweet potato pie with a regular pie crust.
Is there a reason why Chef Tom likes using the second shelf?
Love the recipe! In the video you say you put the grill at 400, but the website recipe says 350. Which one is correct??
Very sorry about that! 400℉ is the correct temp!
@allthingsbbq is that the 9" pie pan?
Yep! It is a 9.5" pan: www.atbbq.com/accessories/bbq-and-grilling-cookware/cast-iron-cookware/lodge-bakeware-9-5-cast-iron-pie-pan.html
Thanks for not telling me how to live my life. Because we all know that there is 1 slice.
Chef Tom is the sh%t!
We totally agree :)!
So you can have six slices, eight slices, 10 slices, or my personal preference, four slices.
It would seem like cooking the graham cracker crust for an hour and a half would burn it. Why doesn’t it?
I had a pie crust prepped and frozen just for PP, but nah. I know what I’m gonna do now. This looks like is has a down home feel.
Use the left over filling to make pumpkin pie tacos. Will it taco?!
😆
Well... if there is such a thing as food porn anonymous. I think this video might push me over the edge.
Here's an idea. Same recipe, but put a layer of cheesecake batter on the bottom, then the pumpkin pie batter.
Hmmm…🧐
A 15" Lodge pan is sort of a pie pan... right?
You mean 1 serving....lol
don't bother cutting it up. just give me a fork and a glass of milk
Edit: Half a gallon of milk
