The Farmers girl. - Thank you for your reply. I watch a lot of American DIY programmes and more often than not it includes somewhere to sit at the front of the house. In England people don’t tend to sit in their front gardens and I think they would get odd stares from passers-by is they did; unless they were working in their gardens or watching their children play etc,. The similarities and differences are so interesting. xx
@@whirligig5006 back yards are more popular here too if you have the space since they are more private. People in the Southern part of the US are known for their big porches. Back in the old days the heat would be so bad the front porch was a place to cool off and enjoy the breeze, and often company would come by then you could visit in the shade of the porch.. Some people have them just fpr the nostalgia

Your commercial load is over the top- Glad you are doing well, but could not get through a minute of show without pop-ups covering the screen and I stopped counting ad interruptions, at 7. That's a lot for a 10 minute program.
@@angelabacker1177 Anything in particular you didn't like? What might you do differently? I think it looks very nice, but I've liked some of her other houses much more. If I could decorate a house it'd probably be quirkier, a bit more color.
@@L.Spencer I don't like black cabinets in the kitchen, they are so hard to keep clean. I didn't much care for the styling in the living spaces either and felt they were not at all in keeping with the architecture of the home.
My least favorite design. Nothing much stood out. I do love those exposed beams and the pantry door looks awesome. Everything else looks cookie cutter.
I can never get enough of these two! I love these shows but I don’t have the cable anymore so it’s great that I found this on U Tube.
