I like the idea of casting orbs in the air for Piccolo,, one of his biggest weaknesses is how committal and vulnerable he is on the ground when he does the orbs. For how easy it is to break an orb or even ignore it with how many invul moves characters have now, he needs a way to be less predictable. With air orbs he can comfortably have an orb on screen, changing his presence and neutral.I would also give 236X, the fake out version, ki blast invul to help him get in in his optimal range easier.

Majin Buu main here, the only thing I would ask for is to increase the attack level of cartwheel. As an "anti-air" tool it's so inconsistent and trades with too many air attacks instead of cleanly beating them. For example, EX cartwheel rarely beats UI goku wake up/C assist (yk the move where it's weakness is it can be anti-aired). And trying to do wake-up uptech EX cartwheel also clashes with meaty jLs.
A good bonus would also have L or M butt stomp to work midscreen but giving a character like Majin Buu consistent knockdowns might not be a healthy option for the game.
@magic mark I’m not a Majin Buu player, but my suggestion was to undo the nerf they gave him in season one, where if you don’t follow up on his 214S (fat throw) you can keep the opponent standing. This would do two things: 1. It would make him more flexible w/ teams + assists.
2. It would make his mix ups significantly better, because being able to set something up while mixing to get another mix up will make the character much more popular.
Nerf the invincible moves, the advancing normals, the damage, and remove super dash on beam wiffs.
Honestly, without the invuln on the grab, I think vegeta blue having the damage is fine, he kinda had the whole glass cannon vibe from the beginning and it's atleast very fitting for that version of vegeta to put everything he has into it, yknow?
Also, mainly, other than making 2L *actually a light*, 2S should get toned down, and maybe j.2h? In general his air-to-air and ground-to-air options getting toned down would make his overwhelming pressure a bit more bearable?
Also, probably a hot take, cause it'd mess with people's reactions for a while: Change the color of dragon rush to something else, just so it contrasts with barriers. Maybe... yyyellow?????? It'd work as a 17/18 nerf, with something everyone finds obnoxious, without killing those characters outright.
Ok I'm basically just making a thread watching this now but this is really fun actually, a like... 6S slow kiblast on Yamcha would be so cool, though I will say I always saw 2S more as like a weird jump-back-dash-thing that also kinda helped when your opponent just jumps at fullscreen trying to bait superdash or something?
nah, too much damage, S Broly is a character that conceptually makes sense that does so much damage, because also he almost doesn't have anything else, so its balanced, but Vegeta Blue has TOO much damage for everything else he already has
Either remove the ridiculous damage or the OP grab, he can't have both. Also I'm pretty sure that dragon rushes being the same color as the androids' barrier/Z Bully's shield is intentional
They have to fix the Guldo freeze glitch so we can combo it into body change again!
For piccolo I would say make his orbs a 214S input and have 236S a beam, vengeful shout perhaps because man does that in the anime.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Unless I’m drawing a complete blank he doesn’t have a 214S, and some kind of beam for his 236s would be really cool. They could even just use the antenna beam animation if they wanted, kinda looks like shouting.
@@nimchimsky5125 in the anime piccolo has been doing vengeful shout, similar to gotenks, so thats why i believe they should add that for piccolo and make it jail to SD i’d say so it can help him with mix, and also making it a great combo tool in the corner (and midscreen)

Trunks EX Flips having either armour or guard points to make his neutral better.
Characters like Cooler and Base Goku’s beams into SD being more consistent.
Nerfs to Perfect Attack, the distance of specific Buttons like Vegito M, Beerus 2M, and removing the Armor to BlueGeta Ex Grab.
The only change I want is for trunks to have change the future whiff be the default input instead of the hold input so that it’s easier to cancel it into flips like they added last time. Because trying to get the whiff input to come out and then do the flip input is a pain
Edit: I think that it was like this in the turbo mod or something and everyone loved it so I’d love to see it in the main game
(Also fix his 5L not always connecting after 2m, 5m, j-5m. You just have to delay the 5m to get it to connect but it’s a little silly that it has the chance not to connect at all)

I gotta agree with what you said about Android 17. Cell, Blue Vegeta, and Jiren became top tier overnight, and suddenly, everyone loved those characters. 17 has been a solid character since the fusion meta, and you still don't see him spammed as much unless you're in high-level play.
I suppose with your suggested Ginyu B change, you'd still get the Jeice/Guldo and Recoome/Burter calls. I like the idea of just the S summons.
For piccolo what if charging 236S gave it level 2 ki blast priority or beam priority + stays on screen longer
Hey, nice video, found myself agreeing with a lot of takes. I just wanted to say the Zamasu f.H thing has a simple solution: don't warp after it. Zamasu will consistently be in range to land 5M or even dash 2M upon landing that way, no matter where it hits. Hope this helps
thanks! The problem with not teleporting is that you lose your turn. flight H is negative on block without the teleport, and as shown in the video you can't consistently hit confirm it.

I get where you're coming from with it but for one, it's only inconsistent if it hits in the air and I think it'd be kinda tough for the opponent to take a turn on air block, and secondly, I feel like the move is crazy enough as is regardless. By warping after it you essentially make it unpunishable, does it also need to always be a free confirm into solo 40%?
I'm saying this stuff cuz I'm kinda scared of what Zamasu's status might be once the patch drops (if the top tiers are nerfed) and cuz I would personally like some EX moves to do less of... everything ever.
One thing thatd be interesting, personally, would be allowing Frieza to Superdash after 236S.
Allow it to restore superdash on Cinematic hit, for some interesting aeriel combo routes now.
Or they increase the hitstun on it for superdash confirms and maybe solo midscreen discs
Regarding the cancellation of Beam in Super Dash, I prefer that some have it and others don't. Characters like Cooler, Goku Black, Base Goku, Yamcha don't have many neutral options, so I think only these specific ones really need this Buff. Characters like Goku UI, Gogeta Blue and Baby already have great neutral options without needing this buff.
I wish they would touch every assist that’s considered “less used” to get them more up to speed such as majin buu fat toss, LC barrier, gogeta blue B etc. just something to spice things up ya know

I think a really cool idea for baby, is for him to be able to use the supers for his steals as dhc if he was on his last character, it Could be interesting😮
Assist 1 and Assist 2 could do the different supers, if available. Example: with Piccolo, A1 does Hellzone Grenade and A2 does Special Beam Cannon? Similarly, characters with multiple level 3s could have the same system?
I’m so glad people are talking about how annoying the full invul/lariat meta is. I say they took problems people had w/ fusions and cranked them up to 11.
I want some UI Goku buffs and I wish they would give him back his dp I honestly thought that was his dumbest change. Basically useless now except for certain combo enders still better options. (Seriously though why is his dodge not plus) I also feel like Krillins Solar Flare could be better. I would also like some buffs to piccolos grab. Some supers I always wanted but know will never happen is 1 that dramatic blast Jiren used that Goku ended up catching when he mastered ultra instinct woulda made a really dope air level 3 for Jiren. For Cell a cool level 1 woulda been that perfect shot move he used against Vegeta that Gohan ended up taking just like from Dbxv2.

Actually though, I definitely agree with the Yamcha change. Having that grounded ki blast would be huge for him. On a personal note I’d also love to see Baseku join the other Gokus in having the protag 2M (and maybe make it so you can convert off his beam from close range), and it’d be nice to see UI become decent again. My biggest thing is, as a day one Hit main it’d be nice to see some buffs. I feel like Hit’s counter is just kinda bad considering it takes the place of a ki blast/projectile, and I know the point is that it’s anti-zoning and his other options and mobility make up for the lack of projectile but the counter feels like such a high risk for such a low reward. Also, his 2M and his command grab are pretty slow considering how low the reward is outside of the corner.

@MisterAcolyte I have a better suggestion with ginyu B, how about instead they make it function like Krillin A assist when holding the directional input backwards however with ginyu B it Spends the meter Which is Given by use for the rotation of just Normal special Move summons. So the 0.3, 0.5, and 0.75 meter gain on use gets consumed but this way those who Put the effort to utilize ginyu B no matter the rotation still get rewarded but also you don't take away the Mix ups and combo's which are exclusive to ginyu B for many characters.^_^

I need something to happen to Big Bang Attack. ssb Vegeta sitting over there tossing his ki blasts into big bang attack and super dashing if I manage to navigate it has eaten away at me. That and reverse kame neutral.

For the ex slicer out of flight if you don’t do the flight dash it feels very consistent but that might just be me

I think android 17’s A assist can be nerfed if you ask me because he also has a very good block stun B assist that has a unique gimmick to it.
I hope Cell's PA is just changed a bit so its not fully invincible to everything. It'd be nice to still be able to kill off of PA
17 is so good because of the other characters on the team. Maybe a slight meter nerf, but nothing further
I would say buff friezas block stun on his B assist, would provide more universal utility
For fat buu i feel like hes actually fine, he doesnt need anything. I just feel like he unfortunately doesnt have pretty privilege meaning hes not as cool looking like the fusions or other villians. The same could be said about nappa.
As a Zamasu main all i really want is just that meter nerf gone. He already was a woman that spends money irresponsible like theres no tomorrow so thay nerf was like taking his credit card away and giving him a debit one instead.
I would also wanna see goku black dive kick be buffed, ill say it. Give him blueku dive kick or make it plus. Doesnt have to be alot, could be 1 or 2 frames. Thats it from me
blacks dive is good enough for neutral honestly. zam is fine with me too, the amount of tools he has makes up for the lack of meter gain bc u can just run 17 anyways

Don't know if it will break him or not but they should increase Yamcha's meter gain (like gut 17 and make Yamcha be the highest meter builder) and speed up his beam.

As a yamcha main I think a ki blast change would be neat but I mostly would preffer them to tighten up the invul on his 5M and 5H, they're great concepts and they work well enough but they have very random windows on where they work, for 5M if you use it defensively and they mash autocombo you just lose, and its kinda random but I think it would be cool if you could hold 5H and have yamcha just do the backflip and feint the hit, keep the invul on the backflip and its just a silly dodge/bait move. other than that please make galeclaws(214X the spin move) more consistent, Its an antiair, and 214H is an EX frame 1 anti air and i've been hit out of it by a jumping H on start-up. that's ridiculous, increase the hitbox and make it autocorrect on hit beacuse it also has a tendency of just dropping when hit on weird angles., I would appreciate a 2M slight range buff so its capable of confirming with max range 5M that's about all I could possibly ask for, and i'm reaching deep in the imagination beacuse he's just so well off
I would also like a change for Bardock, make his lariat have more priority against superdash, it doesn't need kiblast/projectile invul or nothing of the sorts, just make it beat superdash better and make his confirm ability off of grounded EX lariat a bit better, his only option being 236L into vanish is kinda sad maybe just give him the ability to superdash off of it but don't give him a rejump off of it, maybe buff his grounded medium buttons slightly and that's it.
TL:DR
Yamcha:
-Tighten up 5M invul mechanic (its kinda random)
-Hold 5H to only perform the invul backflip without committing to the hit (it'd just be kinda cool is all xD)
-longer 2M
-Buff Galeclaws hitbox so it consistently beats airborne attacks and confirms consistently.
Bardock:
-Higher priority on lariat vs superdash
-slightly buff medium buttons
-Superdash off of grounded EX lariat follow-up
For Ginyu my changes would be:
- Give Ginyu a low 2L (optional). if Labcoat can have six lows why can't the Captain have three? Would give him much better mix and it wouldn't even be too OP.
- Fix the Force Assist glitch so that your Force Calls don't get permanently glitched during the match if he gets hit when you call his B Assist. It's happened to you in your videos so many times at this point lol they really need to fix that bug.
- Undo the Body Change change from the previous patch so you that can combo into it from Guldo again at any point in the match. (my most requested change in the entire game), just give us the same Body Change from before Idk why they even changed it. To make it more balanced decrease the health that Ginyu can take off himself if you hold the button, from 70% to the 40% it was before.
- Change the delayed Force Calls so that the Force Members show up after you call them EVEN if Ginyu gets hit. Currently if you do a delayed call and he gets hit right after they won't appear at all. Need to change that.
- Change the Force Calls so that you can do two delayed Force Calls right after the other. Currently if you do one delayed Force Call then do another one inmediately after, only one of them will come out. Change that so it doesnt work like that anymore.
- Optional: change Recoome's Ultra Fighting Bomber so it's not so situational. Either increase the range to horizontal full screen or give Recoome at least one point of armor (like Z Bully) to make the move more threatening.
- Optional: Make Jeice/Burter's Purple Storm stay even during cinematic attacks. Some moves that have a cinematic effect to them, like UI Goku's 5H or many characters' level 3s, will instantly cause all Force Members to dissappear. Make it so the Purple Comet Attack is the only one of Ginyu's calls to not dissapear during moves thatfunction like that.
That's how I would change the Captain personally, he is in a good place right now but some adjustements like these would be nice.
I agree with all of them. I picked up Ginyu only after his body change with Guldo was removed and I’m so pissed I never got to pull that off. I’d love to able to experience that.
I personally think that Android 17 just thrives in a very unbalanced meta, it’s probably not only due to him being strong, but’s also to him just having a very good A assist that just makes everything stronger.
Revert Ginyu Body Change. He can keep the anchor Body Change, but give old Body Change back.
I’d also appreciate Kid Buu buffs. I really want his Happy Birthday Planet Burst back.
And maybe a bit more damage on Trunks level 2. I appreciate the soft hard knockdown, but negative damage on spark is negative damage on spark.
Perfect attack now has massive dmg droppoff or cell meter gain is decreased like some of the rosters so it doesnt tod. Glitch fixes. Let blue vetega get 2h from his grab. Slight tweaks to jiren buttons (2l and 2m) mabye...havent played alot online lately to see a need to change stuff.

I just want the ki nerfed characters to get some gain back. It was such a lazy way to nerf them in the first place and some of them didn't need nerfs like Hit.
What if frieza got a 214LMH and 236LMH was an OTG
As a blue vegeta main, here is what I want him changed:
- Remove 214H and j214H guard point
- Make his j214M and j214H anti-air on frame 4 (frame 1 on H) [Just my opinion, feel free to disagree]
- Keep the big bang attack stuff, but adjust the damage scaling on big bang attack for it to reduce its overall combo damage, also nerf the damage from 2000 to 1500
yea im gonna be honest if arcsys directly is responsible for this patch im actually a little hyped cuz the game is already looking ready to sail disregarding a few characters and quality of life stuff but if ARCSYS is stepping in? im excited
Honestly, we need Hit buffs. He used to be excellent on point, but he's only good on Anchor now due to the 7 bar gun in my opinion.
Personally this will sound crazy but I want to see base vegeta loops have more of a award I'm not sure if it has a award already but I want to see more of that make it so loops are mandatory to base vegeta kit, also buff ui please idk how to buff him but he is supposed to be the strongest version of goku I'm not saying make him broken just make him a solid character

I think the best nerf for 17 is just to nerf the assist. I think the ki blast shouldn't activate unless the opponent hits the barrier or they are in hit stun. This would make the assist more skillful while still keeping the combos it already has

as a jiren user i actually agree with his 2L and ESPECIALLY his 2S, however, if u take away his medium starter (2L) then you’d have A. Gohan mains defending themselves from an angry mob of Jiren mains.
Buff assist recharge time. Most assist in this game aren't very good, like other games of this type, so they really shouldn't take that long to come back. At least the a and b assists. The c assists should have their time buffed slightly due to them not all being equal in power.
All characters that have installs/debuffs and cycle moves(Ginyu) should have indicators of what is going on: Ginyu should have an icon showing which Force member you're on, Gohan's level system, 21 debuff status.
Take the smash property off of DBS Broly's air qcf L. Just gets in the way of tag in combos if he's first. And give him a straight version of the qcf s fireball.
Honestly they need to fix Perfect Attack. Its way too unbalanced. Really need to be buffed for it to be TRULY perfect.
Faster yamcha beam and give him more down medium range, though honestly I’d rather him just get a sliding down med and nothing else

Remove all meter penalties and actually tone down the characters that were problems. No invuln on moves unless it's a true dp. There are so many ways to cover your blocked dps anyway such as assist or vanish.

Specifically I think videl needs a gap less string. She gets dp'd by the entire cast. 6h and every input of 236x rekka has a dp gap, 2m>5h has a gap, any button >5s has a gap. Everything is a gap. Her crossup and her command grab both also just hard lose to upper cut but that's not that bad she can reset during the rekka by just not finishing it and being -5 or something
Also if you land the autonomous grab tick throw on a blocking opponent you only get like 20% unless you spend 3 bars for 35% and it's just like.... why?
Honestly, it's hard to say any character specific stuff. My main complaints stem from the system mechanics. Stuff like superdash beams on whiff and auto combo still auto correcting. And superdash still jank, but y'know.
Personally, Hit needs his meter gain back. He's a good character, sure, but he has some of the worst mid screen combos in the game. His combo game is so bad that people opt to reset over knockdowns. He's one of the most creative characters to play because his shortcomings are so apparent you have to actively play around it. And I'll just say it, despite main-ing him for 4 years now, he's a better assist than a character.
Although he is situationally great right now due to zoning being popular.
Personally I think they should buff Ginyu 5H again. Actually though, I don't think they should really touch the top tiers much, remove some of the more ridiculous stuff like Bluegeta grab and Cell's perfect attack and maybe buff up some of the weaker characters. I think this game is still pretty well balanced all things considered.
Agree with the nerfs. I want beerus 2m nerfed too tho. So braindead how it just goes under everything and rewards you with a medium starter

I PRAY that ssj goku gets buffed. He is pretty good how he is but he has no mix or mix tool, the only thing he has (while making the enemy block) is his overhead which you can antiair. Maybe give him better staggers (maybe reverse beat) or change one of his moves to make it usable for mix like his 214L raise him in the air a bit on block like blue vegetas 236M. If you cant tell, i really like ssj goku.
I also hope base goku gets nerfed, I DESPISE how he can do his auto combo into beam, level 1 into unreflectable mix and if you get hit by it you just die. Also if you whiff a special move and he's on the ground, he just level one's you and you also die. I do think his mediums should be buffed because they go nowhere, and his beam also sucks for combos so that should be buffed, but besides that he shouldn't be buffed at all.

Flight shouldn’t be 10 friggin seconds. Absurd that he just gets to fly away for 90% of a game and we’re supposed to think that’s hype? Reduce flight time and I think he’d be fine.
Zam is honestly fine imo
I do not. Zam is very good, and his flight mode is great, but in my opinion complaining about him when there are literal demons in this patch is kind of silly.

Ui goku desperately needs buffs. They just needa give him something to actually work with the character just isnt doing anything right now in this meta. Also give back the dp or change it so that move does something else cause right now its entirely useless and serves no purpose other then sticking it on the end of combos.
He needs major reworks on all his air specials to actually give him some options that aren't all extremely punishable and actually serve different purposes.
I think 17 needs to have his meter gain nerfed and his A assist nerfed, but just nerf them both slightly.

I never realized how annoying and OP Gotenks was until I played against a good one. If nothing else, EX Perfect attack and Gotenks need nerfed.
Also, I really hope they don't ruin Cell. Just take the invincibility away. Don't touch anything else.
Edit: I also don't think Jiren needs touched. I think he's just a wall rounded, really good character. If anything just nerf his damage output a little.
I honestly think a lot of people are sleep on Gotenks. I can't blame them too much since a good gotenks is extremely rare. But when you fight one, holy sheesh.

Why do people always call ex pa a dp. It's a reversal not a dp
You're using the term reversal wrong. A reversal is not a move. It's any attack that is done on the first frame of being able to act whether that's out of block stun or waking up.
People call perfect attack a DP because it is full invincible. Just because the first invul frame is on the 4th frame doesn't change that fact. Older street fighter games had DPs that didn't hit till the 5th frame and they were still referred to as DPs.

I don't think the ginyu glitch should be removed. Atleast dont completely remove but make it a feature of the character. Make it so that they dont appear on a call after a certain number of calls. Kinda like Tien and Chaiotsu.

Aco I strongly disagree about Vegeta blues ex air grab being nerfed because it straight up loses to anti air grabs, it's only invincible not fully invincible, The move has counter play. Also vegeta blue's ex rekka doesn't have medium scaling, it just has a high base damage like big bang attack. Compared to EX perfect attack or even krillins ex After image, ITS far from broken. Same with gt goku's reverse kamahamha...
