Thanks, Shawn! Remember that this model was one of the original vintage Klingon D-7. The lighting "kit" (4 light bulbs) was included, and the sides of the bulb top were actually green-tinted clear to be lit. A 9V battery was stored under the "shuttlebay" on Engineering, which is why it is shown not attached. This kit has travelled across Canada and more over 40 years or so, and is in "pre-drydock" condition, waiting for a complete repaint. Thanks, again, for the showcase.
Hey Shawn, this was awesome! I grew up painting models & did a few SW myself (I def. recall doing an AT-AT, a Snow Speeder, and a roughly 8" tall R2-D2.) I don't have the time for this these days, so it is a lot of fun watching you do it 🥃🥃
@@thescifimodelguy Ok, I had to look myself too. Ebay has some for about $60 brand new, same one as I had (very 1970's looking box graphics). I was a bit off, he's only 6" tall. But I was a kid at the time, so.. _Objects in mirror appear bigger than they really are_ 😆
Thank you for encouraging us to use our imagination and make what we think is cool. I got some negative comments for my builds of the NX-01 RE-REFIT and Pike's Enterprise refit. At the end of the day, we're building these models for ourselves. I can see if you are entering a contest or building for someone else. I've been drawing starships and redesigning them for 35 years. It's fun and I love it. Updates to come on the Enterprise D.

It's my pleasure! Thank you for sharing your stuff!
I misnamed the video, sorry if anyone saw the words "My Video" on their notifications! 😂

Suhweeeet!
Lol- your comment has "Translate to English" on it, and changes to "Relationships!" When clicked on haha
I've gotten 3-4 of this kit plus other droids in this scale. The BB-8 has a few trouble parts that make assembly difficult.
