It’s not “by chance”. I accurately learn the tune, at first by ear, but then I wrote down all the correct chords and structure…. As usually jazz and pop professional musicians do…

Quando ho registrato questa ancora non avevo il jazz chorus della Roland che ha un suono fantastico. Forse non ci crederai ma ho usato una scheda audio piccolina Focusrite ed un plugin di simulatore ampli di Logic pro. Stop. Grazie per il complimento🙏🏻

Could somebody help me out with a question here? I know David Foster played a Rhodes similar to the one in this video, but what kind of synth did he use on the part that was done on the Korg starting at 2:43? I believe it was some kind of Yamaha, perhaps a DX7, or maybe some type of Moog. I know that both "Mornin" and the DX7 first came out in 1983.

I saw an interview with Jay Graydon who produced the album and played guitar. He spoke about the use of the famous "E" model Rhodes which has a special sound, was in great demand and was used on many recordings of that era. In addition he said that the David Foster solo was performed on a Korg MS-20 synth. Looks like this gentleman is playing on a Korg Prologue which is a distant cousin and descendant in the Korg family.
