Jalal Ali if you prefer more detailed work then go for the pencils. If you prefer loose, less detailed work then go for the pan pastels :) I use the pan pastels as a base then add details on top with the pastel pencils :)

Which colour should you say is sanguine? They have names on the chart but none of the reds have the name sanguine.

Hmm I’m not too sure! Possibly the one which has the number 1400/675 on it is probably the closest to a sanguine 😊

It's a vice video, and it would have been super-nice if only the names or numbers of the colours were noted next to the swatches, so we knew which ones were which and could buy the right ones, since the online stores' ' swatches' are pretty much useless.
