      Adane አዳነ ለማብሰል እምናስቀምጠው ቅመሙን ከለወስን በዋላ ፍርጅ ውስጥ ነው ወይስ ውጭ.ምክንያቱም ቢያንስ እስከ 30 ቀን።ነውእምናቆየው እንዲበስል እማ እስኪ ንገሪኝ

I just mixed 4 lbs of butter with the spices and hope it will turn out to be good. Thanks for the answer again now I am sure to keep it outside :) I will update you with the results.

    I am assuming you kept the butter in the fridge. I was curious; however, what would happen if you put the butter in a fermentation crock and left it out on the counter...would that enhance the flavor or not?
    Anyway, as ALWAYS, I LOVE your channel!!!❤😊
    UPDATE:
    As mentioned above, I "assumed" you kept your butter in the fridge because I thought butter would mold outside of the fridge for that amount of time, hence me asking you about a fermenting crock, but I saw online that butter doesn't mold, so may I ask did you keep your butter in the fridge or did you leave it out on the counter?
    Also, I am "assuming" again (my appologies if I am wrong) that you are "fermenting" your butter by having it sit out for 36 days? If so, then that makes me think of Kefir (I don't know if you like Kefir, but it is my favorite - after I strain out the whey it is so much better than yogurt in my opinion - but you have to make it at home as the Kefir in the store is not the same. I also like it as a sour cream substitute when I am not eating it with maple syrup...and in case you are wondering, I am obsessed with Kefir!😁). Anyway there is a Kefir/fermented butter that I want to try (I have been watching UA-cam videos on how to make it).
    My question for you is, (providing you have had or you like Kefir/fermented milk) by trying to mimic Ethiopian butter, will Kefir butter work with this recipe or is it a completely different taste profile? Granted, Kefir will lose all of its probiotic benefits when cooked, but I am assuming the flavor will still be good...maybe?? I never had the Kefir butter nor have I had "authentic" Ethiopian butter so I have no idea what I am talking about other than I LOVE both Niter Kibbeh (which I buy online) and Kefir...and now I am thinking a marriage between the two will not be a bad thing. 😊

      I think fermenting butter could result unwanted oxidation of the fatty acids which releases free radicals that are not good for our health
