I don't think she "disliked" it as much as she thought it was average. The $200 price area is very competitive. It's OK for cookies and cakes, but some cheaper mixers may do a better job. There is nothing wrong with free, and it does the job. 👍

We love that mixer too, but L 'Chef no longer carries/distributes it in the US. Availability is the big determination of which mixers we showed. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed. Yes, the elf. Amy wanted him where we could see him.😀
I have both a Ankarsrum and a Compact. Love both. Unfortunately Bosch has discontinued the Compact this year, a real mistake IMO. I read they discontinued it before and then brought it back. I hope they do so again.
Well, that's not much of a problem for one of the smaller machines, unless you want the fire dept. to pay a visit. LOL. But I have only seen a handful of mixers properly develop the gluten within 5 mins of kneading. I know the shape of the hook plays a major part of what KA is talking about, but I'm not sure why they think their mixers can do it in 2 minutes. Are they concerned people are prematurely wearing their machines out?

I love Amy's Santa blouse, reindeer antlers and the elf on the Dutch oven stand. It would be great to have a lot of mixers but I would have a hard time choosing which one to use.

Amy, what’s your view on the Buffalo 7l counter top mixer? It’s apparently all metal construction and for commercial use but hardly any info about it. For the same price point as a low end kitchen aid it seems like a great alternative! Do you have any experience with the Buffalo? HNY 🎉
Hi SweetBuns! I had the Kenwood behind me in the video on a cart. The only reason I didn't put it in the video is because there are not very many places that sell it here in the US. Everything Kitchens only had the 5 quart and occasionally Costco has it. I love my 7 quart. I wish it was more widely available here. Anyway...Thanks for watching! I really appreciate it!
Good point, i have the Kmix which is a fantastic mixer very well made for a third of the price of Kitchenaids, as Amy says it's pity they cannot be found much often in US! I live in Europe BTW.
