I bought a 96 model in Melbourne Australia about a year ago. Awesome bike, it only has the 4spd but with that much torque it doesn't really matter.👍

Have a 1991 Intruder 1400, love it by all means! ALOT of bike for almost no money at all.

As you probably already know, from 1987 - 2006 or later they made no changes to the Intruder 1400. So me and you got basically the same exact bike. This Bike is a bargain.

@@selfmotivatedmotorcycles the one he found is same year and looks just like yours, 2k, with 8k miles, looks like a pretty good bike for the money, what's your opinion on that bike for a beginner

    • @selfmotivatedmotorcycles

I think it’s too heavy and too much torque for a beginner.

I personally prefer a Japanese cycle over any other , Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha, these three makes are absolutely hands on friendly to repair and maintain, other cycles you'll have to pay for labor and mechanic. Yes you may require a mechanic for the makes indicated but not as often as with other makes and the bikes will take you to the same destination that other bikes will and it won't break your bank.

I saw your ad to sell your Suzuki, good luck with that. I know my wife would like to see me sell off a few of mine.

Good looking cruiser billy, I'm riding a Honda myself. When a old man says he rides a Honda what model Honda does an old man ride? I may suggest, edit your videos for more volume. Are you in a club or other riding group? I saw your ad in Craigslist. 🏍️

Your riddle, what model of Honda does an old man ride? I don’t know what model? Trail 90? I work weekends so no I don’t belong to any riding groups,

I am just going for it on a cell phone and I have lots to learn. I don’t even know how to edit but I will in time. Glad to have you as a subscriber. I have an unboxing of an Apollo Z40 max 140 coming any day now. I will make a video of that. I will always have stuff going on about motorcycles and I am confident I will never run out of material for the channel.

Who needs a Harley when you can buy that for under 3000!?! You can buy 2 of these bikes instead!😏

    • @selfmotivatedmotorcycles

Not that Harleys are not awesome bikes😊

Harley Davidsons had a moderately poor dependability and hard starting record until around 1983 when they came out with the Evolution motor. The Evolution motor was excellently enginered and was very reliable. I personally have never owned a Harley because they are usaully more expensive and they only make big cruisers. I have only owned Motorcycles from Japan because they are so inexpensive and bullet proof reliable. If you can afford a Harley Davidson they are excellent Motorcycles and are nothing like those un startable Bikes that you see in the movies and TV in the 60's. I remember an episode of Happy Days where Fonzie is trying to kickstart his Harley and cant do it. A few episodes later they show him with a BSA Motorcycle. LOL
