- Entering Angry Aztec, we collect all of Donkey Kong's items, along with freeing Lanky Kong.
These are the items obtained in this part:
Bongo Blast: This is Donkey Kong's instrument attack. It is taught to you by Candy Kong at her Music Shop. When played, you can kill all of the enemies on-screen. Be careful, as you can only do this a limited amount of times, as you will deplete your music energy by doing so. This can also be played on pads with Bongos on them for various things to happen.
2nd Watermelon: The first time you see Candy, after buying an instrument, she'll also give you an extra Melon for all of the Kongs. You can now take eight hits instead of four.
Guitar Gazump: This is Diddy Kong's instrument attack. Again, this is taught to you by Candy Kong by buying the guitar from her. Like Bongo Blast, Guitar Gazump will kill every enemy on the screen, along with activating certain pads with a picture of the guitar on it.
Rocketbarrel Boost: You can buy the potion that gives you this ability from Cranky. I don't know why you need to drink a potion to use a jetpack, but eh. Pressing Z on a pad with Diddy's face on it, you will fly around, being able to use your Peanut Popguns, as well. Crystal Coconuts are needed to keep flying.
Strong Kong: Also gained by a potion from Cranky Kong, this power allows Donkey Kong to become invincible as long as he has Crystal Coconuts with him. Once he runs out, he will be vulnerable again. Strong Kong can be used to surpass many obstacles that are otherwise unavoidable, such as huge pits of hot sand.
Golden Banana #12: To get this Golden Banana, you must free the imprisoned llama. To do this, press Z on the pad in front of the llama's temple, then fire yourself through various barrels, finally firing yourself through the goal. This opens up the cage for the llama, setting it free, along with it leaving a Golden Banana. This also makes various switches appear on the llama's temple, letting you open the entrance to it.
Golden Banana #13: In the llama's temple with Donkey Kong, use the Bongo Blast attack on the pad with a picture of bongos on them to wake up the llama, making it spit into the water, allowing you to now swim in it (eww) along with opening the cage inside. Swim through the new entrance and hit the switch with a coconut to free Lanky. If Lanky and any of the Kongs could teleport the entire time, how come they couldn't do it while they were trapped in the cages? Anyways, the banana inside Lanky's cage can now be obtained. Also make sure that you Simian Slam the switch with Donkey Kong's face on it to open up a new passage outside.
Orangstand: You can get this ability by buying a potion from Cranky. This is one of Lanky's abilities. This allows Lanky to handstand, letting him walk up slopes and other steep structures.
Grape Shooter: As Lanky Kong, you can buy this from Funky. This is Lanky's weapon, allowing you to shoot out-of-reach enemies with grapes, along with being able to shoot switches with a picture of a grape on them.
Trombone Tremor: This is Lanky's instrument attack, which can be bought by Candy. It works the same way as the other instrument attacks, along with being able to activate things by playing it on a pad with a picture of a trombone on it.
Banana Medal #3: Collect 75 Yellow Bananas as Donkey Kong in Angry Aztec for this one.
Blueprint #3: Use Strong Kong to reach the yellow-haired Kasplat on the ramp by a bunch of quicksand, then kill it for the Blueprint.
Golden Banana #14: Give Snide the Blueprint in exchange for a Golden Banana.
Golden Banana #15: Use Strong Kong, and walk through the hot sand that leads to the passage we opened earlier in the llama's temple, then jump into the barrel to play "Stealthy Snoop!". In this game, you must make your way to the checkered flag through a maze without being caught. After beating the game, you will win a Golden Banana.
Golden Banana #16: As Diddy Kong, use Rocketbarrel Boost to shoot peanuts into the totem pole's mouth. This will make one of the temples gain many switches. As Donkey Kong, shoot the coconut switch, then enter the temple. Here, you must go through a maze-like area, and grab the Golden Banana. Afterwards, a crosshair will focus on Donkey Kong. You need to make it out in 25 seconds before being shot. - Ігри
I believe DK didn't really want Candy for the melons, and their love was true love.

Huh, I just realized that using the camel to cool down the hot pool is a throwback to Lava Lagoon from DKC2
