I want this Cass back! When he had all of his powers he was such a badass, now he looks like he's been through a lot and he is quite weak. I'm hoping he gets a chance to recuperate now that he has been absent recently.
I think what is happening is that he is purposefully only taking the grace needed to function from heaven.I think he is doing this,making himself more human,to punish himself for everything he has done over the years,like killing his siblings and releasing the leviathans.

This is literally the first Castiel vid I've ever added to my Supernatural playlist, but it is so worth it - I always thought that Castiel's heroic aspects were never played up enough. You forget between the awkward social skills and the deadpan expressions that actually his is quite BA and extremely formidable in an utterly cool, kickass way. Thanks for this vid - I seriously appreciate it!

Some of the all time best action scenes on the show are the ones in which Cas kicks ass!He is such wonderful blade master, so much more enjoyable to watch compared to others, even Sam and Dean's with all the pathetic CGI effects. His character had the most potential with infinite shades to it and Misha played every bit of it so convincingly, as Crowley' once said 'we never know which Castiel it is each time - Madman or Megalomaniac'lol.The writers totally screwed up his character!!!
And then, suddenly, between one killed demon and another, there are some lines like 'assbut' or 'the voice said I'm almost out of minutes'... Cas, let me love you.

On a less geeky note, Misha, unlike many actors before, and many actors to come, captured what it must be like to be an angel of God in a world of iniquity, betrayal by his brothers, brutality and cruelty... In a way, his portrayal of Cas depicts a lot of what it's like to be -human- in a world like ours. Looking forward to Ep 17 of the new season! CASTIEL IS BACK.
