AT NOBO 2024 - Carlisle, PA (mi. 1132.5) to Cove Mountain Shelter (mi. 1146.3)

Carlisle, PA (mi. 1132.5) to Cove Mountain Shelter (mi. 1146.3) Ended the day by getting caught in a thunderstorm … not fun. I finally made it to the shelter and there was plenty of room, so I’m ditching the tent life tonight. Only about 4 miles from Duncannon, PA so I will grab a good breakfast there in the morning. I’m about 18 miles ahead of my goal for the week, which will come in handy if I want to take a zero or cut a day short.
Todays menu: 2 oranges, 2 small yogurts, 2 bowls of Frosted Flakes, 20 oz. Gatorade, a waffle, package of crackers, a cowtale, copious amounts of GORP, some S&V Pringles, and water.
