MMEA All State Festival Chorus 2013, Total Praise, Smallwood/Rao

All of these talented high school musicians first had to audition and then perform with their regional district music festivals throughout Massachusetts. They prepared an art song, solfage scales and were ready to sight sing in the auditions where if they earned a score high enough they were then recommended to audition for the Mass All State festival. Each student then had to audition a second time and earn a score above the All State "cut-off" standard to be allowed into this 250 voice chorus - quite an accomplishment for these young singers! Here is the result after 2 fulls days and one morning of rehearsing together in Boston for this incredible concert at Symphony Hall.
