Damn!! Awesome video!! Really been think about the HC pro Comp! Is it really worth it? How beautiful is it in person and how good does it shoot? Thanks!!
@@metsnyc7797 i appreciate that my guy!!! & if you find a HCPC on sale don’t hesitate to get one! The grip is good, but with sweaty palms it can get hard to hold. So some type of grip tape would be recommended! Overall great finish quality & build quality! I have a short posted on my channel shooting it & it shoots REALLY flat! Great gun!
@@metsnyc7797 thank you for the support!!! But I got mine at my local sportsman’s warehouse! If you have one close I’d check there first! But honestly I was ready to pay the $650 even if I didn’t find the bundle with it! That’s how much I enjoy shooting the HCPC! If you prefer a slim line, double stack that shoots well & fits well in your hands, then I wouldn’t hold back!
@@jonathanjohnson7849 apparently the apex trigger is paired well with the hellcat! But I’ve never shot the non comped version. Usually I just try to squeeze harder whenever I shoot a snappy gun! Hand positioning & grip can lead to better improvement!
@@SlappinTriggers yessir hit the range about 3x a week if I’m lucky so grip and hand placement isn’t an issue might throw a compensator on it and look into that apex trigger but the non comp version do got a decent kick to it
@@jonathanjohnson7849 g19 is a great option! & not gonna lie I don’t wanna swap out my G45 for the hellcat, but once I start to shoot the hellcat more I’ll know Forsure haha. Also if you’re into ports rather than putting on a comp, I’d consider sending your hellcat slide & barrel to Floyds Custom Shop! They also have an Instagram page & they do great work!
@@omarvelazquez9277 what was weird is that I didn’t even know it was the gear up package! The guy brought the box out & it came with all of the stuff. Then he said we could scan the QR code to double up on the gear up package & Springfield would literally send us another bag, more mags & and optic because we purchased a hellcat!! It sounded way too good to be true & we tried to scan the QR code to activate the promotion & it didn’t work.
@ actually on their website it shows the hellcat comp with the optic installed & in the description it says it comes with the 17 round mags & a range bag. So it was the whole package originally for $800 but it was on sale for $650!
@@wrxzboost it’s a phenomenal shooter, lots of great reviews about the hellcat! Price point makes sense for what you get. It’s highly compared to the Sig X Macro & like people say “Sig makes a great $500 gun for $800”. Don’t knock it till you try it!!
@@SlappinTriggers i've demo'd the non-comp'd version and it was terribly snappy. we all know that comp's, specifically comp'd slides don't do nearly as much as barrel/comps. with such a big aftermarket for sig and glock, i'd never give hellcat another shot. it's cheaper to buy 1 good gun for $800-1,000 then it is to buy 1 for $500 and then regret that purchase. to each their own, but hellcat is falling behind in performance, aftermarket and aesthetics.
@wrxzboost ports & comps both have pros & cons! Micah Mayfield made a great video comparing the 2! There are multiple options for aftermarket triggers, optics, barrels, holsters, comps & extended controls for the Hellcat. Building any gun to improve performance your easily over $1000. It may not be a great competition gun, but it’s a great carry option! but just add an optic, a light & maybe a trigger on the hellcat you’re still sub $1000 with a great performing pistol for the slim & compact size it is! Reliability is what matters the most & Springfield does a great job at that! Whatever the case may be I will learn how the gun works, adapt to it & make it pleasing to shoot!
@@wrxzboostSeems more like you're a fanboy of what you own, so you feel the need to bash what others like in order to justify your purchase and make yourself feel better. Outside of that, there are no Glock micros. I own a 43 and use need to buy over priced unreliable aftermarket mags in order to get the same capacity you get out the box with the Hellcat. The Hellcat is also still cheaper, noticablely smaller, and shops with better sights than Glock offerings. The Hellcat has 10, 11, 13, 15, and 17 factory mags. They're are a plethora of aftermarket sights, holsters, and barrels for the Hellcat as well. The Hellcat is a great shooter in an affordable package that will hold it's own against it's competition. As far as looks are concerned, it's just as unattractive as all the other polymer competitors, so it's a moot point especially in the case of Glock.
@@wrxzboostThe Hellcat is a great tool. The trigger is just fine, and no able bodied grown man should have any issue with the recoil of a 9. I own HKs, Glocks, several M&P Shields 1.0, 2.0, and the new Plus, and many other offerings. I choose to EDC the Hellcat when I require extra concealment.
i just got this too. i know the optic prob isnt great but the extra mags and the compensator is what i wanted
