@@JWLSports I just enjoy someone with a refreshing review of sports and it isn’t just whiny , biased critiques of whatever it is you’re watching. You actually know what you’re speaking of 🤘🏼👍🏼👍🏼
They aren't, but I don't mean to say it as a knock really. I'm not as negative on Miami as Nick and Brou are. I think Miami is the most talented and explosive team maybe ever & if they catch some breaks, they can for sure contend. I understand that based on their style of play and where they reside, they get the soft label. I get it, but I still think they're really good with amazing talent. They're just not the best or the elite of the elite, but they're incredibly talented. I think Tua and Miami are a bit better than what the media says they are
Tua led the league in passing while having one of the least time to throws in the league and also the Dolphins keeping an extra blocker in the box while also facing usually a four man rush. That’s crazy to me because that means the Dolphins were running 2-3 receiver sets most of the time and facing 7 dbs and Tua was still delivering the ball while under pressure.
💯 The entire IOL, Waddle, Mostert, baker, holland, X, every edge… I’d imagine it was fatal at the end I’m also thinking these guys aren’t considering schematic disadvantage due to personnel and specific lack of leveraging the defense Jonnu Smith, OBJ, Malik, Tahj probably changes this a bunch The inside run when grinding the clock changes with the focus on interior line run blocking and adding Jaylen Wright
I love how they started talking about Fangio's defence as a primary concern but he isn't even our defensive coordinator anymore. Having a rookie coordinator is a legit concern but talking about Fangio's defence and the "BIG NAMES" is just ridiculous. Especially considering that our entire pass rush was out.
Nobody is talking about the most important thing - the offensive line. The one and only game that Miami had all 5 starters in last year was the game where they scored 70 points. The offense slowed way down without the starters at the interior of the line, especially when Liam had to start. Connor Williams and Rob Hunt getting hurt absolutely destroyed this team's ability to run. Both are gone going into this year, and the newly acquired talent is not as good as they were. On top of that, the team let their best defensive player leave for Vegas in free agency (also a guy in the trenches). This team is built from the outside in, which is opposite of how a successful team is built. The GM built this team like he's playing madden and they will fall apart again becauese they just aren't built properly. You'd need an elite QB to overcome these deficiencies, and those don't grow on trees.
It’s so funny how everyone talks about how Tua is injury prone and can’t stay healthy but yet Burrow has missed more games than Tua on injuries. Tua improves every year on everything that is said he can’t do.
I personally don't think so. If we are, it's a by a half an inch. Plus I feel like they got better. If they didn't make the moves they did this offseason or lost their OC then I'd say yes. But I think they improved. And unless CJ is just a one hit wonder I'll think they will be a top team
I don’t mind the criticism of Tua. My issue is no one applies the same arguments to the different players. Lawrence, Herbert get to evade criticism for no logical reason. If winning is so important to these guys, why not bring up W/L record in career.
Lawrence and Herbert absolutely do not evade criticism. I assure you that. Plus, Tua has the better team and the better coaches when compared to Herbert and Lawrence. And it's not even close.
Yes, the Dolphins are definite contenders. If not for injuries and relying too much on the passing game, Maimi would have made a better run in the playoffs. This cold weather narrative is not necessarily accurate because they played Buffalo when it was snowing a year ago and almost beat them and I did not see any drop in play by Tua. Any team can be beaten on any given Sunday in any weather.
You hit it on the head there. They only make excuses for the teams they like but not for the others. This is why your channel will grow because you are sanity checking these narratives by these talking heads!
You forget that the starters missing in defense didn’t matter in that KC playoff game. The defense held its own. TUA and the offense was the problem. They weren’t decimated with injuries. You yourself didn’t mention any injuries on offense. But that was the problem. Your excuses sound logical but the reality is, and this video proves that no one cares about excuses. You try to cut into this video by trying to tear down these guys arguments but across the board, results is what matter. Other teams have the challenge of patching holes with injuries. AND, many of these guys do say the same about the Cowboys. That’s not an arguments. All of your arguments are excuses. “Baltimore beat lots of teams”. The video is talking about the Dolphins, you continue to bring up other teams. That’s what children do. When you come at children with an issue, they say “…what about Jim, Kathy…”., rather than take ownership. Lastly, “…if they’re fully healthy”?? No team is “fully healthy” late in the season.
Hold on the whole reason we have second third and fourth string is to fill in the gap of when the first stringers are not there. So yes the second string and 3rd string is all part of the game and when you got starters out everybody deals with injuries so we got to stop using injuries as an excuse
That's just it though, 2nd and 3rd stringers are a huge step down from starters for a reason. Not only that but Miami was so hurt when it came to DE, they were signing free agents to 1 game contracts. Injuries matter. If you don't think they do, take CMC, Deebo, and Aiyuk away from the 49ers. How far does that team realistically go?
Their INTERIOR OLINE was 3rd string when they played against the Bills, Ravens, Cheifs, that effects their entire running game which was # 1 in the NFL was majorly effected!!! The Dolphins Defensive starters were mostly missing against the Bills, Ravens, Cheifs!!! The Dolphins were missing Phillips and Chubb 26 sacks combined against running QBs the Dolphins were missing these guys with Bills, Ravens, Cheifs, I laugh at Nick Wright because Tua was the BEST NFL QB1 IN PASSING YARDS WHICH MEANS WAS BETTER THAN ALL NFL QB1's. Earlier against the Cheifs that season take a look at the Cheifs vs Dolphins in Germany had Tyreek made the wide open catch that was a bread basket pass by Tua they couldve scored then but Tyreek dropped the pass which the Dolphins would've been able to.score for.sure and Tyreek fumbled and the Cheifs scored that's how the Dolphins lost the Cheif's game in the regular season at Germany. That's how close the Dolphins played the Cheifs in the regular season and look at it this way the same team that the Dolphins beat 70 -- 20 Broncos well the Broncos beat the Cheifs in the regular season. When you have to many injuries like your 3rd string INTERIOR OLINE that is a key part to anybody running game and you have so many injuries these INTERIOR OLINEMEN ARE OUT FOR THE SEASON PLAYING AGAINST 1st string defensive linemen there's no way your winning that battle you try to but there's no way. Tua lead the entire NFL in passing which means any QB1 that throws the football Tua lead them all in the NFL there's nothing to debate about that and even put up 70 points up on a team that later beat the Cheifs. When the Cheifs were missing players on their oline in their Super Bowl against the Rams and they lost because of that( being injuried) they got injuried the game before in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP game they were HEALTHY before that game. Tua his first 2 seasons ELEVATED his team because he made his WRs look like star WRs because he would pass the football where it was catchable and when those WRs went to other teams they didnt make their team and those teams wanted those WRs except Parker( retired) and TE Gesicki ( who had his most career reception was with Tua). Then Tua has Now ELEVATED Tyreek where he has gotten 1700 yds receiving and 1799 yds receiving his first 2 seasons with Tua and sure the INTERIOR OLINE and the TACKLES matter for the QB1 but with Tua in his career he hasnt had that.
