Cafe racer garage channel has a video about heating up your bolts and screws and dropping them in W40 and making them rust proof for life. Loved your video! Stay safe!
I use automatic transmission oil . Use is on your header pipes ( if not SS) before you ever start it up...Had to be there at the dealership when I did my 650 xr head pipes....smokes yes but, never ever rusted either... rock on
Great video on the Templar X. I have the same engine in my Hawk 250 and love the increased power and those 6 gears. I also put a big bore kit and advanced timing key on that engine and it’s now equivalent to a Zongshen PR300.
@@shyrellaleman8594 From that URL, click on the 2nd photo from the left and that will be the full set of the big bore kit to turn a PR250 into a PR300 (piston, rings, & cylinder). It bolts right up without any required engine modifications.
And a great thing about these china bikes is you can actually afford to have four of them. I just bought a new Trailmaster T5 and it's much nicer than what I was expecting, and with really great features that none of the Japanese dual sports are offering. And all for a tiny fraction of the cost. I still can't believe how nice this new bike is!
The thing I hate about all XPro bikes is the tires. I like the looks of many of their bikes but have no desire to ride off road. Wish they would give you the option of a more street friendly tire.
stumbled on this video after seeing this bike online figured hmmmm i might have to get this. i LOVE all the aftermarket modifications for this , for what it is, i think this bike is awsome. this for a 5-6k real name brand enduro bike. money is tight i’ll pick this
@user-rf7oo2zw5u big bore kit was from a supplier out of Brazil aka Aliexpress. Carb is off of Amazon. Exhaust is from a local shop near me but you can find a similar one on ebay.
Im 16, and just got another job, ive been looking for a dual sport bike mainly for backroad transportation and exploring, i live in a little rv and bored as hell so im looking for one under $1500
@Penny_Pincher_Outdoors the kit was made from a company called SKDA. You can find a bunch of kits on ebay as well. Look up graphics for a 2007-09 Suzuki RMZ 450
Awesome bike mods dude! What is the exhaust muffler you have on that? I have a 2024 templar X and just tried the JFG Racing Bel Parts exhaust, and it doesn't fit the X at all. So now I'm looking for a muffler that will just fit my stock exhaust pipe like it looks like you have on yours. Thanks!
Thanks for the review. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the purchase of this bike. I am into making modification for horsepower. What do you think the cost would be for mods on engine? And what kind of H.P. can I expect? Thanks for your help.
Nice! Good to know. I set mine up for mini adventure with fog lights windscreen and hand guards also got the Nibbi carb and projector beam headlight and housing which bolted right in. Shortly after I got mine Oct 2023 I found out Trailmaster came out with basically the same bike frame and suspension but with a fuel injected water cooled 300cc for 2K more - dang it... oh well I still love mine. No, you’re wrong about that gas tank. It has an on, reserve and off. It DOES NOT have (“left side-right side”). If you don’t understand how those work, ask. Don’t put out made up information.
lets see, $2500.00, 5000 miles, yea you're close to getting your moneys worth already . . get some ti bolts, some CF here and there.. good to go .. wonder what the 300 is all about, its water cooled, fuel injection, better brakes and suspension .. its heavy cuz it has a steel frame, not a moly . . but hey if it works it works right? $2500 is nothing fora bike today . . 5k miles nothing major, WINNING . . .
