- ►►PLEASE CLICK HD►► Hi guys! Just before I get into the description, I changed "brother" to "sister" as I wanted to change the context of the song to completely female!
This has probably been one of my most requested songs for a long time, and I really hope you enjoy it! I could never do it because the instrumentals I found weren't good enough, but thank you to my friends for helping me out, you're all the best!!
I also like how I got to be both American and my native British in this cover hahahah! LET MY PEOPLE GOOOO

Elsie Lovelock I absolutely love your covers!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
its beautiful i sort of thought of Serabi and Zera when i was litening to it for some reason.
Elsie Lovelock Perfect cover as always.
Do you think you could to a cover of voltaires when you're evil i'd love to see what you do with it?
I really like your cover. Do you think you do a cover of When You Believe and Ghost Riders in the Sky from the Ghost Rider movie?
This cover did my laundry, fixed my car and cleared my skin.
HAHAHAHAHA omg!!!
Cool
A very productive cover
Payed my tuition, cleaned my room, did my homework
This cover pushed all my grades up to As, gave me the will to live, helped me with my math, solved all my family problems, cured my anxiety (lol, I wish), and did all my chores in less than 3 minutes.
Very productive cover.
When Sirens clash... Good and evil, sister against sister.
@Meg Come on...it's not a catfight, it's a...well you could argue that...I mean it could be a...ok, it's a catfight. Run far, run fast.
*Hi SiStErS*
@Meg Kyrie Eleison...
a tale of two
Sister against sinister
"Oh look, Elsie released a new video! I wonder what it is!"
*Sees title*
"... Fuck... Yeah..."
Katie Leffler just discovered this gem of a magical voice and I said this very statement when I saw she covered this song. I LOVE THIS SONG. Can't wait to hear more.
this is so amazing.
Katie Leffler My EXACT reaction!!!!!
This is a way better song argument between siblings than Anna and Elsa's.
But a cover *THIS* powerful?!
*I'VE FOUND THE VERY MEANING OF LIFE IN THIS VIDEO WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BEFORE*
Bea Con #betterthanfrozen
I believe that the meaning of life is to indeed find meaning.
To me, this song is the song for rivals. Any pair of rivals, nemeses, or argumentors need their own mv to this.
Anna and Elsa's sibling song is so different from this that you can't even compare it.
One song involves a Sister trying to help another, but that sister is so deep in self hate and fear that she would cause harm to her sister that she refuses to listen. Still, the other sister tries because they love each other.
This song is much more horrific and sad compared to the heart warming one that Anna and Elsa gave. It involves Brothers who are in a terrible conflict where one is literally enslaving the others people, and the other brother is evoking Gods wrath on him in a desperate attempt to make him yield. In the end, Moses is responsible for the death of his nephew (despite him not wanting it to happen) and Ramses ends up hating him and wanting him dead.
Kinda why the second one is so powerful because it goes beyond sibling stuff, seeing as this song gives off they will no longer love each other + the whole thing about letting the enslaved go haha.
now I want to write a Frozen AU based on the Bible story, goddamnit
You should seriously be a Broadway singer! You would be so good at musicals!
Indeed
*video plays 1 second. Immediately adds song to playlist and hits like*
True.
Gryffindor girl GRYFFINDOR *HISSES*
1:19 i love how she snarls out "yer pride" she sounds so angry and DONE with her sister it really makes it sound more real
Hmmm
prolly not how Moses would do it though
since you know, we gotta be slow to anger
@@yellowcoat970 Not so much anger as intense sorrowful frustration. There's a big difference, and the latter is actually good, since it arises out of love for the individual you are frustrated with. Unfortunately, it often gets mistaken for the former, and winds up only driving its target further away.
OH MY GOD THIS IS EVERYTHING I'VE EVER WANTED I'VE WANTED A FEMALE COVER OF THIS FOR YEARS
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
S.A. Barnes Me tooooooooo
“Everything you’ve ever wanted” don’t you mean “All You Ever Wanted”?
Get it? The other song in the movie?
AnimeLover 0246 👌
Elsie: breaths
Me: ART!!!!!!!!!!
Bloody hell! This is amazing! You have such a strong and powerful voice. I'd love to hear you cover God Help The Outcasts from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Burn, say no to this, satisfied and helpless from Hamilton. Your voice would suit those songs perfectly! But seriously though, well done with this song. It is my favourite song from the Prince of Egypt. I also think your voice would be beautiful for the river lullaby that Yocheved sings to Moses. Great Job Elsie! X
Expecto Patronum she already has a cover of God Help the Outcasts, it's an old video though.
Rhumer Hake I couldn't see it. Maybe it's not available on my device? Because I can't listen to quite a few of Elsie's covers. Ot is very annoying. But thank you anyway.
Expecto Patronum that could be the case, but I recommend when you visit the video section on Elsie's channel to sort the videos with the oldest videos first, the video you are looking for is right after the Japanese duet cover of Once Upon a Dream.
The Reynolds Pamphlet would be interesting to hear too
Indeed Hamilton covers would be awesome ! I wonder how burn would sound...probably amazing !
Ooooh. The instrumental sounds dark and demonic, but beautiful and well portrayed Moses and Ramses. You've done extraordinary on this cover!
Its actually God‘s Wrath.
The BEST female cover I have ever heard. You have the range, power and emotion to back up this song. I also appreciate that you avoid making your voice "pop-ish." There's nothing wrong with artistic expression and creative liberty, but not every song needs a pop voice over, and that's something I keep hearing in other covers of this song.
Please do Deliver Us or When You Believe
STAR1518jb she already did Deliver Us
Deliver us!!!
bendable Bananas where? And when?
We're send a link
really? Cool!
I was just listening to the Playing With the Big Boys cover and wishing "man I wish Elsie could make a cover of the Plagues" It's like you read my mind! I haven't even listened to it and I already know it's going to be AWESOME!!
YES SLAY QUEEN SLAY
Her range of vocals is amazing. It really sounds like two different voices singing. That's talent.
This cover killed me, resurrected me, cleaned my skin, and fixed me hair. I LOVE IT. MY FIRST EVER VIDEO I STUMBLED ACROSS AND IM BLOWN AWAY ❤❤ Subscribed!
The Plagues Lyrics
Thus saith the Lord, thus saith the Lord
Thus saith the Lord, thus saith the Lord
Thus saith the Lord, thus saith the Lord
Thus saith the Lord, thus saith the Lord
Since you refuse to free my people
All through the land of Egypt
I send a pestilence and plague
Into your house, into your bed
Into your streams, into your streets
Into your drink, into your bread
Upon your cattle, on your sheep
Upon your oxen in your field
Into your dreams, into your sleep
Until you break, until you yield
I send the swarm, I send the horde
Thus saith the Lord
Once I called you brother
Once I thought the chance
To make you laugh
Was all I ever wanted
I send the thunder from the sky
I send the fire raining down
And even now I wish that God
Had chose another
Serving as your foe on his behalf
Is the last thing that I wanted
I send a hail of burning ice
On every field, on every town
This was my home
All this pain and devastation
How it tortures me inside
All the innocent who suffer
From your stubbornness and pride
I send the locusts on a wind
Such as the world has never seen
On every leaf, on every stalk
Until there's nothing left of green
I send my scourge, I send my sword
Thus saith the Lord
You who I called brother
Why must you call down another blow?
I send my scourge, I send my sword
Let my people go
Thus saith the Lord
Thus saith the Lord
You who I called brother
How could you have come to hate me so?
Is this what you wanted?
I send the swarm, I send the horde
Then let my heart be hardened
And never mind how high the cost may grow
This will still be so
I will never let your people go
Thus saith the Lord
Thus saith the Lord
I will not
Let your (my) people go
You know a song is good when your body has a physical reaction to it: shivers down my spine, eyes watering...truly outstanding!!
I agree, I been having a emotional response to this song, because I can somewhat understand what moses went through when he had to go through to stand against remeses who is like a brother to him. Because I have a friend who I look to as a sister ever since we were little that we would get along and agree with all the time. But lately our views based on beliefs has changed and it began to be pretty hard for me to want to talk about some things she believes that I'm against because of my beliefs that I want her to see and understand from what believe. So this song hits me with my emotions because I want to talk to her and hope we don't end up like what happened to moses and remeses being forever be on opposite sides. Because a part of me is a bit scared it may happen one day where my friend and i will be against each other 😨😢. Right now I'm doing my best to stay strong
I couldn't shake this imagination of a female cover for this song, so I decided to search for it.
This cover is everything I wanted and more.
You should do Look Through Heaven's Eyes or do the song I Stand Alone from Quest To Camelot. You're so talented!! Absolutely amazing
Gino Marsocci YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!! Oh please yes!!😲😄😄😄😄
I second Look Through Heavens Eyes!
Gino Marsocci ua-cam.com/video/dXYOSHVEHjA/v-deo.html
Brilliant cover!
Anyone else notice how fem-Rameses is still clearly British?
This is amazing! I love hearing gender-flipped covers of Disney songs, and your voice is rather powerful - and even though it was you singing both parts, I could still tell the difference between the two characters! Fantastic song!
Please do "The River Lullaby/Deliver Us" from this movie!!! Your voice is absolutely AMAZING and I adore your covers!! 😍😍
If I had a voice like yours I would never stop singing
OH BOI SHE DID IT SHE DID A COVER OF THE PLAUGES
I have come back and the line “you who I call sister, why must you call down another blow.” Goosebumps
Just...wow
Honestly so far my theory stands that she can sing anything and it'll sound amazing
Elsie Lovelock, you already blow me away with your voice.
The singing started and i instantly got goosebumps. Keep up the good word!
Ah, the Plagues... One of the songs that genuinely gives you goosebumps. The ominous chanting in the background, the visuals of the plagues, two (one here) amazing singers, it sounds actually threatening. You did a fabulous job recreating the chilling atmosphere of this song. Your voice is clear, in control and it booms. Bravo.
I wanna see someone use this for a Celesta and Luna video! ITS SO GOOD!!!!❤️
I agree, this cover is amazing, and needs to be put with a Celestia and Luna video.
Thesunwolf Just don't... Just... please... don't
Please no MLP...please
The Crazy Potato :D People like this rustle my jimmies
Same...that show is so bad...
I legit got tears in my eyes listening to this.. I love this song so much and I love YOU! Thank you so much for this 😂❤️
SO MUCH YES!
Ey Elsie, imma gonna summarize what a lot of people seem to be saying on the comment sections of your Prince of Egypt covers and say "Could you please just do a complete cover of the whole Prince of Egypt soundtrack? Call it Princess of Egypt. It'd sell like hotcakes."
Whaddaya think? Princess of Egypt the full album? Yay or nay?
This gave me CHILLS. This is absolutely incredible and absolutely the kind of thing I'd expect from you. Once again, you've blown me away.
Aaah!! I've been waiting for a female cover of this! Amazing!
I love Elsie so much but when I saw that she covered the plagues I really expected to be let down because it is just such a hard and powerful song to pull off but oh my god using the original orchestra in the back with your powerful voice good lord I'll never doubt you again you are so amazing Elsie this is the best plagues cover I've seen. You are so unbelievably talented!
Whooo! Holy crap, this was great, hun! I noticed how you changed up your accent between the two, which makes the dynamic that much more epic. The pharaoh's bit as well as the climax gave me chills, and I'm glad you were able to find a proper mix for the background :D Excellent job all around, including with the artwork and everyone else who helped out. 5x infinity stars!
This is my first time hearing a female version of this song and you absolutely nailed it! I had goosebumps hearing it I give it all the chefs kisses!
You have no idea how this cover is way beyond the original one in my heart. How I treasure it and for how long I stick with it. Thank you ! ❤❤❤
This. Is. Awesome! Honestly I didn’t know what to expect when I clicked on this because this is a cover of one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies but wow. It’s awesome, great job!
You just need 'it's tough to be a god' from el dorado and you've covered all of my favourite animated movie songs.
(it's tough to be a god...ess?)
I DON'T KNOW WHY but hearing this sung by a woman's voice feels strangely more fitting? Can we re-write Moses as Moselle?
This is so great oh my gosh. Your belting is giving me chills. I can feel all the emotion in the cover bleeding through I love this so much
I love how I can imagine your voice in the movie, like it sound so strong like quite a few of their voices were. Your voice just matched the movie, and it is so beautiful!
You never cease to amaze me. You have such a powerful voice. All your covers that i have listened to have been truly fantastic. You have a really great gift, and im so happy you have decided to share it with us.

I've been waiting so long for you to do this cover and it's as gorgeously epic as I knew it would be!
If Frozen was made during the 90s, maybe it would sound like that.
Beautiful cover, by the way.

DO YOU
AND the wait was WORTH IT
*GASP* THIS IS THE BEST FEMALE COVER I'VE EVER HEARD!!! I NEEDED THIS SO MUCH. THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS!!!
I've always loved this song, thank you for doing a cover of it!😁
But with what I said earlier aside, that truly was an amazing cover you did of the plagues. Everyone's been requesting this song for so long and now you have delivered with yet another spectacular performance. I really think that next year you should audition for America's got talent. But no matter what you are still one of my favorite singers I have ever heard on UA-cam.
Omg i have been waiting for this and its even more spine tingling than i could have imagined seriously this song and your cover of hellfire will never cease to make me just freeze in awe

Your voice is stronger than anything oh my gozh
OH MY HOLY JESUS CHRIST GOD!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!!
I always thought that this song can't get any better but Elsie makes every song better! 😘
LORD I HAVE WAITED SO LONG, BLESS THIS VIDEO
Girl, the power in your voice!
Very good Elsie, knocked it out of the park. You were also very distinctive in both voices, like if this was my first time hearing this song, I could tell the remorseful, sorrowful protagonist from the angry, vengeful antagonist. Can't wait to see what you do next. xx
My childhood being brought back again!! That was utterly fantastic!!
okay so this is totally going on repeat for the next several months
AMAZING JOB!
Dang, your covers never disappoint. Amazing voice!
I've listened to this way more than 20 times now it's just so friggin good and powerful! It's really motivated me to do more art and even a video! :D Thank you keep up the awesome work
I actually had tears in my eyes after the Ramzes' part, that was so amazingly powerful and strong
You are so great
Finally I've been waiting for you to do a cover of this song
AHHHH THAT ENDING GAVE ME CHILLS. You sang this perfectly
This is practically the theme song for Pink Diamond and her sisters, White especially. For those who don't know them, they're from the show "Steven Universe".
Funfact: The line **You who I called brother, why must you call down another blow** is actually sung by Moses not Rameses.
@@alisond929 It’s sung by Amock Byram, the singing voice for Moses, and not by Ralph Fiennes who voiced the dialogue and songs for Rameses.
Not only that but if you look up the lyrics for the song, they even list that line as being sung by Moses.
@@alisond929 Its alright, its a pretty common misconception, hence why I figured I'd post about it. 🤗
I'VE BEEN WAITING MY ENTIRE LIFE FOR THIS
I stumbled on your cover on SoundCloud. I think I've heard your voice before. There's something familiar about it, but it still astonished me on how amazing and talented you are. My favourite part is how you sing without restraint. You put everything into this cover, and that's something I could never do.
I got SO many chills listening to this. Awesome cover!
Been waiting for this for a while but sooo worth it :D Great job. Literal chills
