I do a public access television show at my local studio. Would I be able to input the live telecast from my tv into the web presenter in order to live stream it on youtube?

I have just ordered the web presenter for online teaching but keep reading old posts about audio sync delay issues when you capture audio into the WP audio input. I’m worried. Can you say anything about this? Has this been fixed in an update?

What camera do you recommend to stream with the Web Presenter? The cheaper the better but without compromising quality. Thank you!
Thanks for a great video, i had a problem audio wise though, did a facebook live and the audio definetly was not coming from the camera, but from the presenter or the mac. any ideas why? i used obs and the camera is a Panasonic AVCCAM AG-HMC151E and connected via HDMI
What happens when you stream in 3 but rate when using the web presenter? Does the cpu shoot up? What the quality of your stream using the web presenter?
Great Review I use livestream for church and have a canon vixia HF G30 and i set the preference at 1280 x 720 and streaming a high 2900 bitrate to achieve that good quality broadcast over the internet. Not everyone is able to get on because I set the bitrate (quality) too high. With this unit will i have to select a preset or set a bitrate preference? there is a church that use 2000 bitrate(lower than mine) to stream and they have superior picture quality.. thanks
When streaming using the Black Magic Web presenter on Facebook (as a webcam without streaming software such as OBS), there is a crop factor within facebook. It almost crops it to 720 instead of resizing it...any way to fix this?

Am i right in thinking that i can attach two cameras to the web presenter and switch between them using OBS? I'm thinking that one will go in via SDI IN and the other through HDMI IN - is that correct?
I'd say web presenter buttons 1 & 2 would still be how you switch between cameras B. It's kinda like me bringing in Intensity Pro Card in OBS that is actually hooked up to an Atem TVS - OBS can't do the switching between cameras on the Atem TVS, you use the Atem software to do so if this make sense.

Hi. The web presenter urgently needs an firmware update. We have the Mini Smart Panel and v 1.2 firmware. Summary. We feed a well-balanced 720p HDMI output from our DataVideo SE-500HD 4-Channel Digital Video Switcher going into the HDMI input of the Web Presenter. The preview output of the SE-500HD (BEFORE the Web Presenter) is very good. i.e. good definition/contrast/saturation etc. The Web Presenter wrecks that and gives an over-saturated output with extreme contrast. We need access to the the proc amp ... or at least some basic control of black level, saturation etc. The current output is worse than a £50 webcam. Is a real firmware update coming soon, and will it address these problems? Before we upgraded our equipment we used a very rudimentary £15 2012 device that took a composite or s-video input and output that via USB ... and the picture quality was better than we get now.
When you switch between SDI and HDMI output sources, does it output on the HDMI out, or is that HDMI out on a loop out for the HDMI source that's coming in?
At the moment it doesn't work with Wirecast due to how Wirecast sees Blackmagic devices. There is an imminent software update from Wirecast. Watch Part 3.
It doesn't come with a power cable? Doesn't come with a Host cable? What kind of shit is that? I wouldn't purchase a product from a company that does provide the basic cables necessary.

Hi. The only buttons that seem to work on the mini panel are the switching inputs 1 and 2. How do you mix the audio inputs from the unit internally?

Yes, exactly. It is possible but both inputs need to be identical resolution

Silat Fan TV SDI cables are great to 50m and high quality cables can go to 200m.

Silat Fan TV yes if you use the optional Smart Panel. It’s not really for live switching though. It’s simply for chooosing the HDMI or SDI port

I'd say web presenter buttons 1 & 2 would still be how you switch between cameras B.
