Mike played on some songs I cowrote that were recorded at Ocean Way in Nashville recently and he is as genuine as they come. As a bassist myself, the bass lines he layed down are a joy to listen to. Such a well rounded player and always in the pocket.
I loved Mike's story. He played on Brent Lamb's 1st album back in the early 80's, "Tug of War." I was Brent's live drummer, and was in awe of those studio cats that came in and cut Brent's tracks in one or two days! Mike on Bass, Dennis Holt on Drums, Greg Jennings on guitar, and Dave Innis on keyboards. What a fun experience for us watching the magic happen!

Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
This guy is a special man. Great bassist, but also a great man.
Great to finally hear Mikes Story. Answered a few questions I had from one of Nashville’s Finest.
Thanks David! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
