It's better to have hair on top of your head. Feel more confident with hair on top for sure.. FUE scars are much better than the linear FUT scar 100%.
Exactly. No one cares about scars. As long as you've got hair, that's all that matters.
Fue scars can also be filled in / masked with scalp micro pigmentation. They have videos on youtube where they show the process and results. Looks pretty good imo.
FUT is still the best way to go, plus it is cheaper. Only downside is it takes longer to heal. You get more grafts with a FUT procedure. For your final surgery if you are worried about the scar, you get FUE to fill in the scar. FUE scarring from harvesting is a mess, plus more FUE follicles die during extraction.
@LittleRockz smp is indeed an option. If I would ever be bothered by my scars I might consider it, otherwise personally I don't care about it, so not doing it 😁
@@sinistra328I chose fut as well. Not noticeable at all over 3k grafts. Going for second fut in november and cannot wait..by the way not cheaper because fut is only in developed countries 😂

Totally agree with you... Lots of little scars but very nicely spreaded, and good density in between the little scars that leads to a final very nice and natural look
Indeed. Honestly, couldn't have made it any better. Extraction pattern is so good, even if you analyse up close thetrs no way to make it better.

Can't comment as it's very different for each case.
You can be Norwood 7 and have enough donor to cover all top with donor still looking good (no need for SMP).

Can you tell us how much your first and second hair transplant with Dr. Ferreira cost you?
They say that blood circulation in the crown is weak. If that is true, how do we nourish the crown, especially after hair transplantation?
I always found it interesting that people brining poor blood circulation in crown theory conveniently mention only for cases when there's slow growth / no growth (whether meds or transplant). That's not always the case. I've seen plenty of examples on crown growth being on par with any other area that makes me belief this is just an excuse.
hello Mr Rolandas,in reddit i've read that you had keloid scars but nevertheless you had hair transplant,what is the approach of doctor with the patients that have keloid scars and what precautions they get,and your results are incredible.
Hey, I didn't actually have keloid scarring. In one of earlier videos Dr. Ferreira said this to explain how my scarring looks like. He said it looks similar to keloid scarring where it's slightly raised. That was a not very good example which creates such misinformation.
This would be obvious if you had a lot of grafts transplanted. Just don't cut your hair too short 😊

I didn't either. Dr. Ferreira used me as a case study for one of the conferences he have been.
Afterwards he shared this with me.
Not sure if he's using coverage value calculator for every case.

Hi brother recently I got hair transplant done and some of my hair falling in J (structure) I asked clinic they are saying it's common have you experience the same is the graft safe or damage 😢
It's normal. I had a full head of hair for 15 days, then looked bald again after one month and it lasted 4 months until new hair grew out. It's different people by people. Good luck!
It's called shedding. Happens within the first couple months after transplant. Your hair will start growing again.
From what I've seen J shaped hair that are shedding usually is not a good sign, indicating grafts were pushed a bit too hard into pre-made slits (I assume). That being said it doesn't mean nothing will grow. Remember you probably had thousands of grafts implanted, a ten or so grafts won't make any difference.
As I have problem scalp and seborettic I actually postponed my surgery I had planned as I felt I needed to get my scalp health improving before that. I am also in a cross road. Been on fin for 25 f.. years now. And is still what I would consider good hairline just that its really now on the border where styling, fibers and makeup is in the borderzone of working and being spotted. So that complicates it a bit. Also with age I start to care less. Why? well I am starting to look older finally. Before I always looked a lot younger so at 40 I could pass of as late 20s or so. And lets be honest we do the hairstuff partly due to girls. But now when I at 51 is looking say early 40s then suddenly (atm I have a partner) I cant pull 20y young girls anymore if I wanted I think. And girls that are say 30+ actually care a bit less. So this is another reason why I have postponed by surgery.
Stop thinking about girls and do it for self love seems like you are at great age to do it ,when I went there were plenty men with their families getting it done. Not thinking about chicks but being a better version of themselves
@@_Simba_J2425 well again let’s get real. Half of it is of course for yourself. But a big part of feeling you look good is because you want to look good for the opposite sex. Anyone that claim otherwise is just lying. Or to put in in a perspective. And it’s not just Hairloss. Do I really care as much if I wear shit pants have a bad hair day if I hang with my buddies vs if I am with my girlfriend (and even more so if you are single at the time) hope. Not at all.
So again I fully clearly state that part of why guys bother about Hairloss is due to female attraction.
Again it’s not about my age but my current scalp state. If that was more under control I would had got my transplant 1 y ago.
