I legit stood up from excitement when I saw Nagant because not only did we get a Gentle and La Brava pop off but we got Lady Nagant shooting Shigiraki not once but TWICE from the massive distance between the coffin in the sky and the central hospital where she was at like they were all so good this episode
La Brava hacking Skeptic was set way back. Skeptic said he only failed Redestro once before and he was referring to when La Brava hacked him in the past. This was in season 5.

Gentle started his arc as a weak man who gave up his principals and gave into villainy when life handed him bad cards. Now, with La Brava's support, he's become a much stronger man, standing up for what's right and helping to save the world.

Chapter 378 of MHA (the back half of this episode) is one of my favorite chapters in this arc. I remember when this happened in the manga like it was yesterday. I was so happy I was pounding my chest until it hurt. Today there was that again, along with happy tears. What a wonderful adaptation by Studio Bones. They cooked 🔥
It’s great to see Gentle, Nagant, and La Brava coming back and be the heroes they’ve always dreamed of being. Also, it’s time for Touya to get the attention he deserves.

I was expecting this episode to be a complete disaster, but then seeing Gentle, La Brava, and Lady Nagant helping the heroes win this war, made me so happy. I have so much hope that we can win this war now
It's sad knowing that Gentle never knew that Deku lost his way for a little bit. I'm sure Gentle would have tried to help Deku had he not been in prison.
I like that they got to redeem themselves as well. Neither of them started off as villains. They were both heroes who fell off the path and was helped by Deku to find their way.

I remember when the manga had that one line about the seventh prison and then it paid off like a year later with this chapter, hori goated for that one.
This is one of what is possibly my favorite chapter, the injustice I felt for Gentle and Labraba and the "death" of Nagat and seeing them in this chapter made me cry with emotion. Simply cinema

This episode made me cry
I haven't watched the anime in a couple of seasons, but I still kept up with the manga. Reading these chapters was hype as hell, an absolute "EVERYONE is here!" moment of Deku's ability to reach out to others coming in clutch, and I was keeping an eagle eye out to see when the anime would get to the return of three of my favorite characters- our doting dynamic duo and broken assassin with the heart of a hero. Absolute justice was done to them, and I'm so glad to see others just as excited as I was.

If I remember correctly, Lady Nagant is super far away, I dont know for sure, but I think it was like 200 km or something, her bullets have to travel crazy fast to hit Shigaraki right in that instant.

I could be wrong but when Hawks says to AFO that he already lost to the Number 1 hero i think he meant All might and not Endeavor
No, he is actually referring to Endeavor..Endeavor is the current number 1 hero and to hawks he is.
He was saying that because afo was trying to demotivate and get endeavor on his nerves once more by telling him he is abandoning his duty of facing/stopping him (afo) as the number 1 hero.
Hawks just countered that statement immediately by saying he already lost to him once and endeavor fulfilled his duty (in which he did successfully by burning him alive with prominence burn) if it wasn't only for his backup plan of eris quirk that he gets a round 2 otherwise he was done at that point. So he already lost to endeavor once.
He is now just moving to his next duty and that is as a father to deal with his son.

Also, the reason Nagant lived seems to be the the bomb quirk only exploded her skin! If you look back at season 6, her body was still in tact directly after exploding but her skin was burned and cracked. Near fatal, but with some help from Central Hospital, she survived.
